Roma President James Palotta has created quite a bit of confusion regarding the futures of Radja Nainggolan and Alisson Becker this afternoon.
The Roma supremo was asked by AreaNapoli if he would sell Nainggolan and Alisson to Napoli to which he replied: “No, De Laurentiis does not want to spend this kind of money. Alisson costs a lot, it will take €78 million, he is close to Real Madrid whilst Nainggolan is close to Inter.”
Moments later Rome-based Roma journalist Checco Casano tweeted out that he has spoken directly to the Roma President who confirmed having said these things but that: “my statements were sarcastic replies to the fans, it was a game, with respect to what they are writing in the newspapers. There is nothing concrete.”
