Matteo Politano has hit the ground running at Inter since his summer arrival from Sassuolo and the stats are their to back him up all the way a report from Gazzetta dello Sport details.
The 25-year-old winger was brought in by manager Luciano Spalletti for his speed and ability to take a man on and is top if not at least in the podium places for many of the attacking stats;
“The Nerazzurri number 16 is the second in the team when it comes to attempted shots with 17 in total only behind Perisic who has 22. He is joint first for assists with 2 together with Icardi and Perisic. He is first for chances created with 13 and second for crosses with 33, Perisic has 43. As for successful dribbles, he is second with 8 to Keita Balde who has 10. He has the third most touches in the opponents box with 21 with Icardi and Perisic ahead of him with 27 and 34 respectively.”
