Inter are hoping Mauro Icardi will agree a move to Napoli or Monaco before the transfer window shuts in two weeks, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Maurito has repeatedly told the club he wants to join Juventus if he leaves the Nerazzurri, but Napoli have become more and more insistent in the last few days.
Aurelio De Laurentiis is prepared to offer €65 million in cash to agree a deal with Inter, or alternatively a slightly smaller fee plus Arkadiusz Milik.
Alexis Sanchez’s imminent arrival in Milan means a part-exchange deal involving Milik is now very unlikely, though.
Monaco have stepped up their own interest recently and are willing to make ‘a big investment’ in Icardi.
The striker must now make a decision regarding his future, with Juventus still yet to put forward any official bid for the 26-year-old.
Inter would still be interested in swapping Icardi for Paulo Dybala, but the tension between the clubs makes this a remote possibility.
Neither Napoli nor Monaco can wait on Icardi forever and both would like a sign of some kind by the middle of this week.
If Icardi continues to show no interest, they will withdraw their offers and focus on other targets before the end of the window.
