Kwadwo Asamoah has failed to recover from injury and as a result he will miss Inter’s Serie A match at home to Hellas Verona tomorrow evening according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
The Ghanaian defender has been struggling with a knee problem which has caused him to miss each of Inter’s past two games and he will now miss a third straight game.
Asamoah, who joined the club on a free transfer in the Summer of 2018, has made 10 appearances across all competitions this season in which he has contributed a single assist.
Whilst Inter will have to do without Asamoah, they will be able to welcome another full back to the fold in Danilo D’Ambrosio, who has now recovered from the broken toe he sustained whilst representing Italy a few weeks back.
The report goes on to state however that Cristiano Biraghi, Valentino Lazaro and Antonio Candreva are the trio vying for the wing back slots in Antonio Conte’s side which suggests D’Ambrosio will be on the bench, at least to begin with.
