Inter CEO Beppe Marotta Identifies Four Transfer Targets To Please Antonio Conte

Inter coach Antonio Conte publicly called for squad reinforcements in the upcoming January transfer window, a decision that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta agrees with, having already placed four key names on the list. This according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how Marotta has already identified four players that the Nerazzurri will work towards in the upcoming transfer window, one midfielder and three forwards.

The midfielder is Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul. Despite naturally being a left winger, the 25-year-old Argentinian has impressed as a central midfielder for the Friulian club this season.

The first forward highlighted by Marotta, the report continues, is 21-year-old Genoa striker Christian Kouamé. The Ivorian forward, who was once part of the Inter Primavera squad, has looked impressive with the Rossoblu this season, scoring five goals in 11 league games for the Ligurian club.

Then there is also veteran Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, the report adds. The Frenchman has struggled for playing time with the Premier League side due to the emergence of Tammy Abraham and seems destined to leave the club in January.

Finally, the last name is SPAL’s Andrea Petagna. The 24-year-old Italian has impressed for the club this season.
