Inter owned striker Mauro Icardi, who is currently on loan with French giants Paris Saint Germain, scored another decisive goal yesterday for the Parisian side to gift them three points against Brest.
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel spoke about the 26-year-old Argentinian striker to French broadcaster Canal+ after the game.
“Icardi is a very effective forward, he does what he has to do and at the moment he manages everything well. Now it’s hard for Cavani, the forwards always face tough phases and at this moment Edinson is going through a difficult one.”
“On the contrary, when you’re full of confidence the results arrive. Luck is currently turning on Mauro’s side. Cavani has to find his confidence and fight for a jersey.”
Icardi has made ten appearances for the Ligue 1 side so far this season, where he has scored nine goals and provided one assist already.
This is good news for the Nerazzurri management, who are keen for the Parisian side to enact their buy option on the striker before his loan spell ends.
