Italian Report Claims Inter Have Made €10m Bid For Eriksen & €5m Bid For Giroud

Inter have offered Tottenham Hotspur a sum of €10 million for Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Eriksen has already agreed personal terms with Inter on the basis of a four year contract with an annual salary of €7.5 million plus bonuses and now Inter are hard at work trying to conclude a deal with Spurs.

Eriksen’s contract is expiring at the end of this season and Spurs quite simply do not want to avoid losing him for nothing so have slapped a €20 million pricetag on his head but Inter believe it is too much to pay given they could get him for nothing in a matter of months.

Inter could perhaps raise their offer by inserting bonuses or even a player. Inter have tried to include Matias Vecino but have so far been unsuccessful in convincing Spurs.

The report goes on to state that Inter have also made a €5 million offer to Chelsea for Olivier Giroud. Giroud, like Eriksen, has an expiring contract and Chelsea are asking for €10 million to let him depart this window.

The Frenchman has already agreed personal terms with Inter and the move could be sorted when the proposed exchange between Inter and Roma including Matteo Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola goes through.
