Inter & AC Milan To Meet With Milan City Council Today For More Talks On The New Stadium Project

Representatives from both Inter and AC Milan are to meet with members of the Milan city council for a new meeting to discuss the clubs’ new stadium project according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Neither Inter chief executive Alessandro Antonello nor AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni will be present at the meeting and Milan city mayor Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Sala will not be at the meeting either.

The topics on the agenda for the meeting are understood to be, a discussion relating to all the extra’s that the clubs wish to build as part of their new stadium project such as offices, hotels and commercial spaces as well as a discussion on the value of San Siro.

The two clubs presented plans from two architectural groups at the tail end of last year and their initial plans included a complete demolition of their current San Siro home.

The Milan city council were however completely against the idea of losing San Siro entirely and it now looks like it will remain in some shape or form.
