Italian Report Highlights How Important Romelu Lukaku Is To Inter

A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has highlighted how important Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is to Inter.

The report details how the 26-year-old Belgian forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, is irreplaceable in the time, with his contributions to the team coming in multiple different ways. For example, the player has scored 22 goals and provided five assists in 33 appearances across all competitions so far this season. He has been one of the most important players in the squad’s build up play, creating a strong partnership with Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez. Coach Antonio Conte’s faith in the player has already paid off.

The former Manchester United forward has only missed one game so far this season, the Nerazzurri’s Champions League visit to the Camp Nou to face Barcelona back in October. He has played 2765 minutes across 33 appearances, having a goal contribution rate of one every 102 minutes.
