Inter and West Ham are to meet to discuss the future of Joao Mario following the completion of his loan with the London club according to a report from Tuttosport.

In order for a deal to be struck, Inter are looking to get €30 million for the Portuguese, a substantial figure that would help toward solving their financial fair play problems. However, Joao Mario could just be loaned to the Irons for a further season with a redemption obligation attached.

Since his January loan switch to the Premier League, the 25-year-old, who is one of Inter’s record signings, has made 13 appearances for David Moyes’ side, scoring twice and contributing one assist also.

The midfielder has already bid farewell to West Ham and the supporters on social media but the goodbye may only be short lived if a deal is struck.

MERITI SUL CAMPO – «La prossima gara con l’Inter sarà fondamentale per la Lazio. Dopo l’ultima giornata di campionato, non rimprovero nulla ai biancocelesti: gli uomini di Simone Inzaghi hanno giocato per vincere la sfida, non era facile, ed alla fine non sono arrivati i tre punti. La Prima Squadra della Capitale merita di raggiungere la qualificazione per la prossima edizione della Champions League essendo stata la compagine ad aver espresso il miglior calcio. Il gruppo c’è ed anche a Crotone la Lazio ha dimostrato il proprio valore su un campo dove tante grandi squadre hanno lasciato punti».

SOSTEGNO DEL PUBBLICO – «La compagine nerazzurra verrà nella Capitale con grande determinazione: la rosa di Luciano Spalletti è ricca di grandi giocatori come Mauro Icardi. With time against Inter in their bid to redeem Joao Cancelo, the Nerazzurri have began the process of searching for alternatives to the Portuguese full back.

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi, Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Barcelona’s Nelson Semedo are all under consideration by the Nerazzurri.

Florenzi has just over a year left on his contract and Inter may look to swoop in. If Roma are unable to strike a new deal with him, Inter could look to acquire the Italian on the cheap and Roma are more likely to oblige if this is the scenario rather than losing him for nothing next summer.

As for Partey, the 24-year-old is actually a natural defensive midfielder but has transformed in to a full back in recent months due to a number of injuries at right back.

Semedo on the other hand could be acquired on a Joao Cancelo/Rafinha like deal wherein he would join the on a loan deal with Inter having an option to make the move permanent.

It is no secret that Inter are among the hunting pack for the signature of Cagliari starlet Nicolo Barella and Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter could soon look to get a deal done to bring the 21-year-old to the San Siro.

Cagliari president Tomasso Giulini has placed a €40 million price tag upon Barella’s head in a bid to scare potential suitors off but Inter could be prepared to offer some counterparts to bring the price down considerably. The Italian youth international has earned rave reviews over the course of the season and has also attracted interest from Juventus.

The Rossoblu, as per the report from the Milan based newspaper, are interested in Inter youngsters Jens Odgaard, Nicolo Zaniolo, Andrea Pinamonti and Xian Emmers. Inter may be willing to part ways with one or more of them but it is likely to be on the basis that they have an option wherein they can buy them back for a pre-arranged fee.
