La “Gazzetta dello Sport” riporta che ieri la dirigenza del Racing Avellaneda ha fatto l’ultimo tentativo con l’Inter per avere Lautaro Martinez a disposizione fino a dicembre per disputare la Copa Libertadores.

TENTATIVO IN EXTREMIS – Nelle due ore di riunione tra Ausilio, Mili­to e il presidente del Racing Victor Blanco per limare i det­tagli dell’affare, la delegazione del club argentino ha provato per l’ultima volta a chiedere al­ l’Inter di trattenere il suo gioiel­lo Lautaro Martinez fino a dicembre. La voglia dell’attaccante di approdare in Europa e la volontà dell’Inter di averlo subito a disposizione per permettergli di ambientarsi in ritiro con Spalletti hanno però avuto la meglio. Oggi il Toro ri­partirà per l’Argentina, ma l’at­tesa sarà breve, prima di pre­sentarsi ad Appiano a luglio.

La “Gazzetta dello Sport” riporta che su Joao Cancelo iniziano ad arrivare gli interessamenti delle big. Juventus e Manchester United sono pronte a trattare col Valencia.

CANCELO SUL MERCATO – Nel futuro del mercato potrebbe esserci un braccio di ferro tra big. Per chi è più forzuto (e danaroso), ecco un terzino portoghese, senza Mondiale ma con un grande futuro: Cancelo non aiuterà Cristia­no in Russia vista la mancata convocazione, ma in questa stagione di apprendistato al­l’Inter ha fatto capire quanto talento custodisca. In casa Juve sono convinti: il terzi­no è un possibile colpo, uno su cui buttarsi visto che i ri­vali nerazzurri non lo porte­ranno a casa entro fine mag­gio. Si sa, l’ha ammesso al­ largando le braccia anche Luciano Spalletti: a causa della mannaia del fairplay finanziario, l’Inter non può riscattare il giocatore al prezzo già pattuito di 35 mi­lioni di euro entro il 31. Ep­pure il d.s. Piero Ausilio pen­sa che dopo, a mercato avanzato, una nuova chance per riprovarci potrebbe co­munque esserci: in quel caso non si farà trovare imprepa­rato.

INTER IN ATTESA – Cancelo tornerà quindi nel suo vec­chio club e il Valencia espor­ rà subito la mercanzia alla migliore clientela europea: il prezzo sarà comunque superio­re a quello della clausola fissata l’anno prima. Tra i più ingolosi­ti, proprio la Juventus che ave­va trattato il giocatore la scor­sa estate: aveva visto in lui un po’ del Dani Alves, nel frattem­po fuggito a Parigi. Quest’anno i bianconeri hanno continuato a osservare da vicino il porto­ghese, convincendosi della bontà dell’affare. Avevano in­fatti prefigurato lo scenario che si è poi verificato, ovvero il ri­torno del giocatore in Spagna. Qui, però, subentra la concor­renza durissima dello United e di Mourinho a caccia proprio di un esterno destro di spinta: la capacità di spesa degli inglesi e superiore e loro, sì, si avvicine­ rebbero ai 50 milioni tondi sparati come prima richiesta dal Valencia. A Cancelo, però, è piaciuta l’Italia e la Juve è asso­lutamente in corsa nella parti­ta. Da parte sua, l’Inter vuole tornare alla finestra, magari più in là, quando le richieste va­lenciane si saranno raffredda­te. E quando i cordoni della spesa si saranno riaperti grazie ai soldi che la Champions ga­rantirà da luglio (circa 40 mi­lioni): la volontà del giocatore, che bene si è trovato con Spal­letti, potrebbe essere usata co­me una leva verso Milano.

During an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Bayern Munich’s Spanish international midfielder Thiago Alcantara spoke about his brother Rafinha, who has now recovered fully after his bad injury and settled himself into an important role in the line up at Inter.

The former Barcelona man stated that: “Rafa has always been a person who values happiness, but it is true that much, if not all, comes from football. If you play and you do well, then you feel satisfied. He was looking for just that, he wanted to feel important in a team. He was recovering from a serious injury and had to fight hard to be a key player.”

In conclusion Thiago was asked if Rafinha wants to stay at Inter to which he replied: “He has to decide the best option, but if he’s happy in one place, he does not have to change it.”

Rafinha has been a positive impact in the squad ever since joining the ‘Nerazzurri’ back in January. In 12 appearances, Rafinha notched up 2 goals and 3 assists which helped Inter secure 4th place in the Serie A campaign this season.

In an interview by Calciomercato.com, former Inter President Massimo Moratti spoke about all things Inter outside of the club’s headquarters in central Milano.

Moratti began by judging the end of the season stating that: “It was a thrilling end and for this reason it was even more enjoyable. Now we will begin to think about what will be an important commitment, we will enter the group stages certainly not as favorites and therefore we will have to strengthen the team without a doubt.”

Moratti was then asked if he believes Inter can fight for the Scudetto already next season to which he replied: “Certainly yes, it depends on us, but I think it’s possible.” The reporter then asked about his thoughts with newly acquired forward Lautaro Martinez: “I’ve always heard about him in a very positive way, he seems to be very strong and so we can hope.”

The reporter then brought up adding important names to the current squad: “It will depend on what Suning can do and if they can move, it will be important to go and find someone that is a reference for the whole team” Moratti concluded.

According to a report from an Milano based newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio is also working on the renewal of the Brazilian central defender Joao Miranda’s contract, which is set to expire at the end of June 2019.

The Gazzetta reports that: “The ‘Nerazzurri’ have proposed to prolong the agreement of a further season, while the former Atletico Madrid defender would like to move the deadline to the end of June 2021. The discussions will continue in the coming weeks to find an agreement that will please the parties involved, but the risk of departure in the summer is imminent. Even so, Inter has already reinforced the defensive department by adding the Dutch international Stefan De Vrij and also tends to lower the average age of the squad.”

In conclusion, with Inter heading back into the Champions League, it would be a great move once again by Ausilio to secure Miranda until June 2021. There will be multiple options available to coach Luciano Spalletti for the back line as it will allow rotation and useful rest for others during the season.
