“ATTENDERE QUALCHE SETTIMANA” – «Radja Nainggolan già dallo scorso anno era pallino di Walter Sabatini, c’era tutta una congiuntura che voleva lo scorso anno all’Inter, poi però chiaramente le cifre e le valutazioni non collimavano e quindi è rimasto alla Roma. Vedremo se questo potrà essere l’anno buono, con Luciano Spalletti che sappiamo certamente è un giocatore a cui piace molto. Stefan de Vrij ieri era a Milano, evidentemente per organizzare il suo trasferimento, trovare casa e altro, Kwadwo Asamoah arriverà all’Inter. João Cancelo e Rafinha Alcântara, come ha fatto capire Spalletti, molto probabilmente non verranno riscattati perché in questo momento l’Inter dovrà fare plusvalenze: trenta milioni di euro entro il 30 giugno, questo vuol dire che bisognerà fare operazioni in uscita o sui giovani o sulla cessione di un big o su qualche esubero. L’Inter dovrà pensare prima al mercato in uscita, poi eventualmente dall’1º luglio in poi concentrarsi sul mercato in entrata, ecco perché le tempistiche di Nainggolan e Nicolò Barella non possono essere a stretto giro di posta, ma si dovrà aspettare qualche settimana».

With only a few days left before the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool, Inter’s Borja Valero released a long interview with the Spanish press agency EFE.

The Spanish midfielder, who came up through the youth ranks at Los Blancos, warned this Spanish club not to take victory for granted despite their recent success: “Madrid are the favourites because they have won the last two editions, but the final is a game on its own. Marcelo, Benzema, Ramos and Ronaldo were all there during the disappointments of 2011 and 2013, and this shaped them to be ab;e to win in the following years.”

The former Fiorentina man went on to discuss some of the individuals in the current squad: “Ronaldo has adapted to his age and changing physique. He has evolved because it is not always possible to play as if you were 20 years old. Now he plays closer to the penalty area, and increased his number of goals. A midfielder I would like to play with? I would have to choose Luka Modric. It was be a pleasure, just for the way he controls the ball.”

The season may have just ended, but Inter are immediately working towards the future. According to Sky, the Nerazzurri had already reached an agreement in recent weeks with the agents of Bologna winger Simone Verdi to strengthen their attack. The Italian starred in the Serie A this season, scoring ten goals and laying on 10 assists in only 34 matches.

An agreement with Bologna must come sooner rather than later. Inter are aware of interest from Napoli who had an agreement with the player and club in January, and who’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has returned to the office in recent days to begin their own market. Indeed, Napoli could make the most of Bologna’s interest in Amato Ciciretti. The player spent the season on loan with the Rossoblu and the club are interested in making the switch permanent.

The 25 year old Verdi made his debut for the Italian national team in 2017, and was called up by new Azzurri manager Roberto Mancini for the teams upcoming friendlies.

Nel suo editoriale per il sito “TuttoMercatoWeb” il giornalista Enzo Bucchioni ha commentato la conferenza stampa di ieri di Luciano Spalletti, e le necessarie conferme relative al fatto che l’Inter non potrà spendere tutti i soldi che vuole per i noti obblighi del fair play finanziario. Secondo lui potrebbe essere una soluzione trovare un club disposto a pagare la clausola da centodieci milioni di euro di Mauro Icardi.

SOLDI DA RECUPERARE – “Luciano Spalletti ha rivelato quello che si sapeva: l’Inter deve rispettare il fair play finanziario. Oggi non può riscattare Rafinha Alcântara e João Cancelo. Oggi no, ma probabilmente sì dopo il trenta giugno, per il nuovo bilancio. E comunque si cercherà un’altra soluzione con il Barcellona, magari un prestito-bis o roba del genere. E poi? All’ordine del giorno c’è anche la posizione di Mauro Icardi. Speaking to Inter TV, former Nerazzurri defender Riccardo Ferri lavished praise on the current squad who secured fourth place (and a spot in next seasons Champions League) with a 3-2 victory over Lazio: “At the final whistle, it was a great emotion. We can see for sure that we had another Triplete, as we at Inter Forever defeated Chelsea, and then also Norwich before the players have us the most exciting victory. It was nice to share this victory with the other players: it was a real icing on the cake!”

The central defender played for Inter from 1981 to 1994, making a total of 399 appearances and winning a Serie A title and two UEFA Cups. At the tender age of 54, the Italian was still eager to represent the Nerazzurri this month, helping the Inter Forever squad to victories over Chelsea (4-1, goals to Materazzi, Suazo and Karagounis x2) and Norwich (2-1, Materazzi and Polston OG).
