Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri arrived in Italy ahead of his loan move to Inter Milan.

Inter Milan have completed the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri from Bayern Munich on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Inter announced the Switzerland midfielder had penned a deal until June 2019.
"On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to wish Shaqiri a very warm welcome. We would also like to thank FC Bayern Munich and the FIGC [the Italian Football Federation] for their help in completing the deal positively and quickly,'' the club said in a statement.

Lukas Podolski wants to help Inter Milan get back to their position as one of the top clubs in European football.

Lukas Podolski has claimed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger showed a lack of respect by not saying goodbye to him when he left to join Inter Milan on loan.
The forward, who made his Inter debut as a substitute as Roberto Mancini's side drew 1-1 at leaders Juventus on Tuesday, said he had done "everything for the club I possibly could have."
