Gianluca Di Marzio: “Inter To Meet Soon With Brescia To Agree Terms Over Sandro Tonali”

Inter’s directors will soon meet with their colleagues in Brescia to find an agreement over the transfer of Italian international midfielder Sandro Tonali, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

According to the report, it is no secret that the Nerazzurri’s main transfer target this summer is Sandro Tonali and after having found agreement with the player himself, Inter will soon meet with Brescia to finalize the transfer.

Earlier today, reports surfaced that initial contacts between Inter and Brescia had been made. Now, Di Marzio claims a meeting has been scheduled between the parties to finalize the deal.

“Regarding Tonali, there will soon be a meeting between Inter and Brescia to try to find an agreement, after one having been found between the Nerazzurri and the player’s agents” Di Marzio stated moments ago.

The young midfielder came up the ranks at Piacenza and Brescia, making his first team debut for the later in August 2017 and has since then featured 77 times across all competitions for the club scoring 6 goals in the process.

Tonali was one of star players in helping Brescia secure promotion to the Serie A last season.

Barcelona Looking At Arsenal’s Aubameyang As They Can’t Afford To Pay Inter €111M For Lautaro

Barcelona could be forced to give up on their efforts to sign Inter’s Lautaro Martinez and are looking at Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, who the Nerazzurri were eyeing up as a replacement should Lautaro Martinez leave the Nerazzurri.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who moments ago on air, declared that a new rule which is expected to be imposed in La Liga soon, could effectively kill Barcelona’s hopes of being able to sign Lautaro Martinez this summer.

La Liga are expected to impose a new rules which would limit the amount that Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are allowed to spend to 25% of how much their earn, according to the report.

Should this be imposed Barcelona would not in any way be able to come close to satisfying Inter’s €111 million price tag on Lautaro Martinez.

Therefore, according to Di Marzio, Barcelona are looking to block Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whose contract expires next summer and who would be much cheaper.

Fiorentina Open To Selling Inter Linked Federico Chiesa But ‘Only For A Substantial Offer’

Federico Chiesa could be allowed to leave Fiorentina according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The Italian national team winger has been heavily linked with a possible move away from La Viola for some time now with both Inter and Juventus reportedly long term admirers of him and pondering moves for him.

Fiorentina have however been reluctant to let Chiesa go but that could change in the upcoming transfer window if they are to receive a substantial transfer offer from him.

The report goes on to state that whilst Chiesa may go, Gaetano Castrovilli certainly will not be leaving the Florence based club.

The chances of Fiorentina letting him leave the club are really low therefore Inter will have to postpone any move for Castrovilli, who has been one of the biggest revelations of this Serie A season, for the time being.

Pordenone Director Lovisa On Inter Owned Michele Di Gregorio: “We’ll Talk To The Nerazzurri”

Pordenone’s technical director Matteo Lovisa has addressed the recent speculation in the media regarding Michele Di Gregorio, who is on loan at them from Inter.

The young shot stopper joined the Neroverdi club on a season long loan this past Summer and has massively impressed during his spell with them.

Recent reports in the Italian media have suggested that newly promoted side Monza have already wrapped up a deal to sign Di Gregorio in the upcoming transfer window from Inter.

“How much has the speculation annoyed me? More than annoyed, I am happy for him because he was ready following Bindi’s injury to prove his real worth on the field,” Lovisa remarked in an interview with Italian news outlet TuttoPordenone.com.

“I also believe in Michele’s professionalism and I am convinced that until the end of the year he will give his best for this shirt. Talking about the transfer market today is premature, Inter own him and we will try to talk to each other but if Monza have already concluded a deal what is there to say? Well done to them.”

Whilst on loan at Pordenone, 22-year-old Di Gregorio, who has a contract with Inter until 2022, has made 27 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he has managed to keep nine clean sheets.

Di Gregorio is a product of Inter’s youth academy and has also had loan spells with Renate, Novara and Avellino during the early years of his professional career.

Barcelona Offer Junior Firpo + €65M For Lautaro Martinez But Inter Want Minimum €85M In Cash

Paris Saint-Germain’s signing of Mauro Icardi from Inter has complicated Barcelona’s pursuit of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport.

The Blaugrana club have been courting the highly rated 22-year-old striker for a considerable amount of time and things have only gotten harder for them due to Icardi’s €58 million sale which means Inter find themselves in a strong financial position and have no obligation to sell Lautaro.

Barcelona deem Lautaro as a strategic signing but the report warns that they will not go overboard in order to add him to their ranks.

Barcelona are willing to offer €65 million plus Junior Firpo and do not want to go any higher than that. Inter have already told Barcelona that they will not do any such deal unless the cash aspect of it is €85 million.

The report goes on to add that Barcelona are well aware that Lautaro wants a move to them and know that his representatives are not happy with how Inter have been managing the situation.

Inter’s Roberto Gagliardini: “Eriksen Is An Experienced Player, Lautaro & Lukaku Doing Well”

Inter central midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has refused to rule out the possibility of Inter going on to win the Serie A title this season, despite the fact they find themselves six points behind league leaders and reigning champions Juventus.

“Scudetto? We have been playing for it since the very beginning. We are playing every three days now and have to pick up as many points as possible. It does not depend only on us, but we will do all we can. We are six points from the top and anything can happen,” he began an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia earlier on tonight.

Next the Italian went on to discuss areas where he feels the team need to improve.

“We have to be more cynical in front of goal and work on recovering between matches will be fundamental. It is fundamental to lead a healthy life. We need to manage games better too because every game hides many pitfalls and right up until the end, as we saw against Sampdoria, there can be dangers.”

Gagliardini then went on to speak about some of his fellow midfielders, including January transfer window recruit Christian Eriksen.

“Eriksen is an experienced player, he is gradually integrating and helping us. We have players, including Stefano Sensi, who can do very well in that role and who can help us from here to end of the season.”

He proceeded to speak on Inter’s wealth of options in the attack.

“Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez are doing well, they must help us and continue to do what the coach asks them. Sanchez has also entered very well lately, he is a very important player for us and Esposito can give us a great hand. ”

In conclusion he spoke on how his teammates and himself managed without each other during the recent lockdown period which left them stuck in their homes.

“During the lockdown months, we always stayed in touch, the dressing room has always been alive and united. The dressing room is the most beautiful part of football.”

This season he has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored two goals and has provided as many assists for his teammates.

Inter Coach Antonio Conte: “The Boys Had A Good Game, No Room To Make Any More Mistakes”

Inter manager Antonio Conte has called for the team to be more clinical in front of goal following the win over Sampdoria last night as the 2019/20 Serie A season resumed following a three month Coronavirus enforced stop.

Inter took the lead after 10 minutes through Romelu Lukaku and their lead was doubled 20 minutes later with thanks to Lautaro Martinez. In between the goals and afterwards Inter had more chances to score further goals but failed to do so.

Fortunately, Inter were not made to pay for their lack of composure in front of goal and achieved a 2-1 win over a struggling La Samp side.

“We could have been a little more serene if we had taken advantage of the opportunities created but instead they scored and we found ourselves in trouble,” Conte explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Rai Sport, earlier on today.

“That said, the boys certainly had a good game. We start this run of games knowing that we need everyone and that we can do important things. We have worked hard to have the best possible way to the end of the season.”

The former Italian national team manager proceeded to discuss the Serie A title race, which Inter just find themselves in alongside Lazio and Juventus.

Inter are currently sitting third, five points behind Lazio and six behind table toppers Juventus and Conte has admitted that there is little room for error for his side.

“There is no room to make mistakes. Juventus and Lazio can meanwhile afford mistakes. We absolutely have to find a ferocity and badness in front of goal in order to not get to the 95th minute with anxiety that we could conceded from a corner kick.”
