Ex Youth Team Coach At Racing Radaelli: “I Know Lautaro Martinez Well & He’s Fully Focused On Inter”

Former Racing coach Fabio Radaelli discussed Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, the rumours linking him with Barcelona and the criticisms about his poor form in an interview with Italian media outlet NerazzurriSiamoNoi.it

“I know him very well, I’m sure he has only one thing on his mind at the moment, scoring a lot of goals for Inter.”

He suggested that the 22-year-old Argentine striker hasn’t lost focus due to the interest of Barcelona. The Blaugrana are incredibly keen to sign the player but cannot afford his €111 million release clause.

“Lautaro isn’t thinking about Barcelona. There’s nothing to distract him now. Lautaro always has a way of showing he respects the role he has to play both on and off the pitch. Barça is interested in him and this news, given the importance of the club, resonates every day. But I repeat, since I know him, he only has Inter in his head.”

Finally, Radaelli spoke about how Lautaro could respond to the criticism that he has received recently. The player disappointed against Coppa Italia last weekend and looked invisible.

“Simple, by doing what he does best, which is to score several goals. Forwards are like that and Lautaro Martínez has always responded, he always wants to win and improve. One day, Lautaro will be the best forward in the world.”

Lautaro has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2508 minutes. In that time, he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists, forming a formidable partnership with Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. The 22-year-old hasn’t scored in his last five games and will be eager to net against Sampdoria this evening.

Julio Tous Leaves Backroom Staff At Inter After Disagreement With Antonio Conte

Inter athletic trainer Julio Tous left the Nerazzurri a few weeks ago due to disagreements with coach Antonio Conte, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Spanish trainer, who specializes in gym work, left the Milanese club a few weeks ago, due to disagreements with Conte. Athletic trainers are especially important at this stage of the season, as the Coronavirus stop has seen players remain essentially housebound for the last three months.
