FC Luzern Manager On Inter Linked Darian Males: “Haven’t Heard Anything So Far”

FC Luzern manager Fabio Celestini has admitted that he has heard nothing with regard to Inter being interested in signing Darian Males.

“I haven’t heard anything about it so far. I would be very happy for Males,” Celestini, who has been in charge at the Swiss Super League side since January this year, explained in an interview with Swiss news outlet Nau.ch.

Males is in his second season as part of the first team at FC Luzern and has a contract with them through to the end of the 2021/22 season.

Goran Pandev: “I’ll Always Thank Inter For Bringing Me To Italy & Making Me A Man”

Former Inter forward Goran Pandev has revealed that he will be forever thankful to Inter for what they done for him.

“I will always thank Inter, who were the club that brought me to Italy and made me become a man. My experience at the Nerazzurri was fantastic, but I also had great moments at Napoli and Lazio, where I started to make myself known and appreciated in Italy,” he remarked in an interview with the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giornale.

Pandev proceeded to discuss the famous treble win that he played a part in at Inter in the 2009/10 season.

“The treble was certainly the greatest moment of my career. Winning the Champions League is the dream of any footballer, and winning it together with Serie A and the Italian Cup made it even more unforgettable. We did something that will hardly be repeated by someone else.”

He then spoke on former Barcelona player Bojan Krkic downplaying what Inter did in the second leg of the semi final against them the year they won the Champions League.

“I don’t think I have to answer him, they all know about the great sacrifices we made in that game.”

Pandev proceeded to speak on former Inter manager Jose Mourinho and former president and owner Massimo Moratti.

“The Portuguese was like a father to me, he created a truly united group and that led us to victory. He is also someone who tactically speaking is very prepared. He is certainly one of the most great managers.

“Moratti? I could say a thousand things about the President so I will limit myself to two simple words that I think sum him up, at least in part and those words are generosity and passion.”

The veteran, who is currently on the books at Genoa, first joined Inter as an 18-year-old back in 2001 and spent three years with the club before leaving for Lazio.

The Macedonian returned to the club in the Summer of 2009 and had another three year spell with the club and all in all he made 69 appearances, in which he scored eight goals and provided 15 assists for his teammates.

PSG Close To Agreeing Short Term Extension With Inter Linked Edinson Cavani

Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with striker Edinson Cavani to extend his contract until the end of the season according to a report from French broadcaster RMC Sport, which was aired a short time ago.

The Uruguayan national team striker’s contract with the French champions is set to expire at the end of this month and this report claims that Paris Saint-Germain are close to coming to an agreement to extend his deal until August 31.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has already confirmed that Cavani will leave the club but the reason behind wanting to sign him to a short term extension is because Paris Saint-Germain want to keep the current team together for the remainder of the Champions League, which will be contested in August.

Cavani has drawn links with a whole array of clubs due to his expiring contract status including Inter and Newcastle United but all interested clubs look set to have to wait until the end of August before being able to try and sign him.

Darian Males’ Agent: “We’ve Not Yet Received An Official Offer From Inter”

FC Luzern striker Darian Males’ agent Gezim Ibrahimi has poured cold water on a report in the media suggesting Inter have won the race to sign his client.

Italian Report Claims Inter Beginning To Have Doubts Over Buying Stefano Sensi

Inter are beginning to have doubts about whether or not they will activate the option they have to buy on loan Stefano Sensi according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Italian national team midfielder joined the Nerazzurri on a season long loan with option to buy set at €20 million this past Summer from fellow Serie A side Sassuolo.

Sensi made a very promising start to life in an Inter shirt but following an injury in the first Derby D’Italia back in October, he has struggled to remain fit and has picked up injury after injury.

He sustained his latest injury, another thigh injury, yesterday in training and the report explains that there are some members of Inter management who have doubts about keeping him.

Moreover, the report goes on to explain that Inter management are questioning if the fee agreed with Sassuolo is perhaps too much.

It seems almost certain that if Inter do decide they want to keep him they will seek a substantial discount from the Neroverdi side.

Since joining, he has scored three goals and tallied four assists in 18 appearances across all competitions to date.

Christian Eriksen & Lautaro Martinez Favorites To Start For Inter Against Sampdoria

Inter manager Antonio Conte will use the same starting line-up that started against Napoli in this weekend’s match against Sampdoria according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

After arguably his best performance in an Inter shirt to date against Napoli, Conte is set to hand Christian Eriksen his second consecutive start for the club.

Inter changed to a 3-4-1-2 system against Napoli which allowed Eriksen to play in his natural role of attacking midfielder, something which made a clear difference to the quality of his play compared to when he was played as a mezzala in a 3-5-2.

The report goes on to add that former Italian national team boss Conte will also keep the faith with misfiring striker Lautaro Martinez too, despite the fact he is on a six match run without scoring a goal and could well be distracted by the continued links to Barcelona.

Italian Media Report Claims Inter Boss Conte Would Be Delighted If Barcelona Linked Lautaro Martinez Stays

Inter manager Antonio Conte would be delighted if Lautaro Martinez were to remain with the club according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The highly rated 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a potential transfer to Barcelona ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Despite Barcelona’s strong interest, Inter are persisting with the strong stance they have taken and if Barcelona do not meet their demands for the Argentine national team striker then he will be going nowhere.

Lautaro has been virtually ever present in Conte’s team this season and has remained in the team as of late despite his poor form in front of goal.

The former Racing Club player, who arrived at Inter in 2018 in a circa €20 million deal, has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a total of 16 goals and tallied four assists for his teammates.

Inter Not Convinced By Marseille’s Dry Loan Offer For Joao Mario As Celta Vigo Ignite Interest

Marseille are only interested in signing Inter midfielder Joao Mario on a loan basis according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

At a push Marseille could agree to an option to buy of €12 million being included in a deal but they will not agree to an obligation to buy.

Inter are far from convinced about the idea about letting the Portuguese national team midfielder go on loan and the report explains that Inter are looking around for other solutions.

An intermediary has been in contact with Inter to express La Liga side Celta Vigo’s interest in signing the former Sprting CP player who has spent this season out on loan at Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow.

Following a difficult season, Celta Vigo are looking to change their fortunes next season and Joao Mario could help them to do just that.

The 27-year-old has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored one goal and tallied four assists.
