Nicolo Barella has become an essential player for Antonio Conte’s Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The Italian national team central midfielder joined the Nerazzurri club this past Summer from fellow Serie A side Cagliari in a loan with obligation to buy deal worth a total of €50 million and has become a point of reference in the team.
Barella has become a staple in the starting lineup and is as good as certain to start every match alongside Marcelo Brozovic, who is similarly as essential as him to the team.
The highly rated 23-year-old, who is under contract with the club until the end of the 2023/24 season, has been virtually ever present this term for Inter with him having made 30 appearances across all competitions to date.
In his time on the park, which totals just over 2100 minutes, he has scored three goals and provided six assists.
