Talks Between Inter & Bayern Munich Over Future Of Ivan Perisic Continue

Contacts between Inter and Bayern Munich over the future of Ivan Perisic are ongoing according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Perisic joined the recently crowned Bundesliga champions on a season long loan this past Summer and there was an option to buy him outright for €20 million but that option has since expired.

The report goes on to explain that Bayern Munich would like to extend the Croatian national team winger’s loan deal until the end of next season but Inter are pushing to sell him instead,

Inter are willing to drop to €15 million whilst Bayern Munich would be willing to offer no more than €10 million for the former Borussia Dortmund player.

Whilst on loan at the Bavaria based club, the 31-year-old has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date. During his time on the park, which totals just shy of 1500 minutes, he has scored six goals and provided eight assists for his teammates.

Inter Doubting On Signing Fiorentina Owned Biraghi Due To Interest In Chelsea’s Emerson

Inter are doubting whether or not to sign Fiorentina owned Cristiano Biraghi on a permanent basis due to increased interest in Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri, according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri have doubts about signing Biraghi due to his less than convincing performance as well as Antonio Conte being keen on being reunited with Chelsea and Italian national team full back Emerson Palmieri.

However, Inter could still end up paying the €12 million option to Fiorentina for Biraghi, the report continues. This because he would be particularly useful in terms of meeting registration requirements for UEFA competitions when it comes to homegrown players. Biraghi came up the youth ranks at Inter.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to add that Inter will only sign Biraghi permanently if Fiorentina sign Dalbert on a permanent basis from the Nerazzurri.

Inter Decide To Postpone Signing Stefano Sensi From Sassuolo Until August

There remains no doubt that Inter will exercise their option to sign Stefano Sensi permanently it is just that the Nerazzurri have decided to postpone this until August, according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter have absolutely no second thoughts about Sensi and will take up the option to sign him on a permanent basis from fellow Serie A side Sassuolo which will cost them around €20 million, the report continues.

However, the payment won’t be made until August according to today’s print edition of Turin based Tuttosport, because this way the payment for Sensi can be registered on the balance sheet of next season, with the fiscal year ending at the end of June each year.

Sensi joined Inter last summer on a paid loan deal for €5 million with an option to make the move permanent set at €20 million. The Italian international midfielder has since then featured 18 times across all competitions scoring three goals in the process.

Inter Looking To Replace Lyon Target Diego Godin With Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla

Inter have already identified who will replace Diego Godin, who is edging closer to leaving the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Godin has been heavily linked with a departure from Inter in the upcoming transfer window for a number of months now and it is looking increasingly likely that he will leave the club amid interest from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.

Godin’s inability to adapt to Inter manager Antonio Conte’s tactics are at the root of suggestions that he could leave the club and although he tried to adapt, he failed to do so and has lost his starting place to Alessandro Bastoni.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter have set their sights on replacing him with Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla.

Hellas Verona are understood to want €25 million for the highly rated 20-year-old defender and reports elsewhere have suggested Inter could offer a player or players as part of a deal.

Inter & Man Utd Working On Extending Alexis Sanchez Loan Until End Of This Season

Inter and Manchester United are working on extending the loan of Alexis Sanchez until the end of this season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Chilean national team player joined on a season long loan this past Summer and Inter are in talks with Manchester United over extending his loan until the end of this season, which has been extended due to the Coronavrius crisis.

The report continued that it cannot be excluded that Sanchez’ loan could be extended until the end of next season either but his salary is an issue.

Inter are not even paying as much as half of his wages and cannot afford to pay the entirety of his annual salary either therefore Sanchez may need to sacrifice some wages.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Sanchez may be given a rare opportunity to start in this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Sampdoria due to Lautaro Martinez’s bad form.

Emerson Palmieri’s Agent: “Inter A Great Club & Conte A Top Coach But No Official Contacts”

Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri’s agent Fernando Garcia has denied that there are any negotiations currently taking place with Inter.

Emerson has found himself linked with a move to the Nerazzurri for a good few months now ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

“Mancini hopes that Emerson will return to Serie A to play more? I can’t speak for him,” Garcia remarked in an interview with Italian news outlet FCInterNews.

Next he spoke on the interest from Inter and sang the praises of both the club and manager Antonio Conte.

“There is nothing official with Inter, but we are certainly talking about a great club and Conte is a top manager.”

He was then asked about the kind of price any interested clubs could expect to pay for the Brazilian born Italian national team full back.

“I haven’t consulted Chelsea, so I don’t know how much they could ask for the player’s card, I could only do it in front of an official proposal.”

Emerson has been with Chelsea since January 2018 and has a further two years left on his contract with the Premier League side.

This season the 25-year-old has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date. During his time on the park, which totals just over 1300 minutes, he has provided a single assist for his teammates.

Cagliari Director On Future Of Radja Nainggolan: “He Is An Inter Player & It Depends On Them”

Cagliari sporting director Marcello Carli has admitted to being uncertain with regard to what the future will hold for Radja Nainggolan past the end of this season.

The former Belgian national team player joined the Rossoblu club on a season long loan this past Summer from Inter having been judged to be out of their project but it is currently unclear what will happen with him in the coming months when the loan deal expires.

Some reports in the media have suggested that Inter could sell him or utilise him as part of a deal for another player whilst others have suggested that Inter may even reintegrate him back into the first team picture.

“For now he only thinks of Cagliari, but I still can’t tell you what could happen in the future,” Carli explained in an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio yesterday afternoon.

“He has a strong emotional attachment to here and we are very happy with him. Sometimes he is exploited. He will say something and everyone writes that he wants to return to Roma.

“We will see what happens when the season ends. He is an Inter player and it will depend on what they think will be best.”

Whilst on loan at the Sardinia based club, Nainggolan, who is contracted to Inter until 2022, has made 24 appearances, in which he has scored five goals and tallied six assists.

Nerazzurri Legend Sandro Mazzola On Barcelona Target Lautaro Martinez: “I Think He’ll Stay At Inter”

Legendary Inter player Sandro Mazzola has shared his belief that Lautaro Martinez will end up staying with Inter despite ongoing media speculation.

The highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team player has been heavily linked with a potential transfer to reigning Spanish champions Barcelona for some time now and many reports have suggested the player has an agreement in principle over personal terms with them.

“I think he will stay in the end,” Mazzola explained in an interview with Italian news outlet Sport-Lab.it.

The former Italian national team player, who spent the entirety of his playing career with Inter, also spoke on current Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, who he advised Inter to sign when he was a youngster.

“I seen him play and he was incredible. I had went to watch another player and then I saw him. I managed to talk to him at the end of the match and I said to him, ‘Listen, would you come to Milan to play?’, he responded, ‘I don’t know, let’s see’. The next day I called him but he didn’t answer me.”

Mazzola spent a total of 17 years playing for Inter, during which time he made over 500 appearances across all competitions.

Upon his retirement, Mazzola spent a period as part of Inter’s management team and he also had a period as the club’s sporting director during the 1990s.
