Inter Duo de Vrij & Godin Doubtful To Play This Weekend In Clash Against Sampdoria

Stefan de Vrij and Diego Godin are both doubts for Inter ahead of this weekend’s fixture at home to Sampdoria according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

de Vrij had to come off in Saturday’s draw against Napoli due to a muscle problem whilst Godin missed the game entirely, also due to a muscle problem.

Both players took part in the recovery session alongside the other players who started in Saturday’s match yesterday whilst the remainder of the squad took on the Primavera in a training match.

Things should become a lot clearer today with regard to the possibility of them recovering in time to take on Sampdoria at San Siro on Sunday.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to add that both Matias Vecino and Danilo D’Ambrosio are more than likely going to miss out due to injury.

The Italian football federation (FIGC) have confirmed the start and end dates for each of the next transfer windows through an official release via their official website.

Juventus Yet To Present An Offer To Hellas Verona For Inter Target Marash Kumbulla

Juventus have had further contact with Hellas Verona over Marash Kumbulla but are yet to engage in negotiations or present an official offer for him according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

As things stand Juventus’ arch rivals Inter are currently leading the race to sign the Albanian national team defender, who is among the most highly rated young players currently in Serie A.

Juventus are keeping an eye on the situation whilst Inter are evaluating whether to keep Kumbulla at the club or loan him back to the Gialloblu if they are to finalise a deal for him.

Inter have been in contact with Hellas Verona regarding Kumbulla dating back to January and the report goes on to explain that Hellas Verona want at least €28 million upfront for the player plus add-ons.

This season Kumbulla, who has a contract with his current employers until 2022, has made 19 appearances, in which he has scored one goal.

Inter Will Only Part Ways With Atalanta Target Sebastiano Esposito For A Big Money Offer

Inter will only sell Sebastiano Esposito if they were to receive a huge offer for him according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Atalanta have shown a keen interest in signing the highly rated Italian youth national team player and the two clubs have held talks over the 17-year-old.

For the time being, Inter are only willing to let him leave on loan and do not believe that a loan move to the Bergamo club would be best for his development as a player due to the fact Atalanta already have Josip Ilicic, Duvan Zapata and Papu Gomez in the attack.

Inter will only loan him to a club where he is going to get a lot more chances to play, which would be the best thing for him.

This season Esposito has made 11 appearances across all competitions at first team level, in which he has scored a single goal.

Inter & Man Utd To Meet Soon To Discuss Extending Alexis Sanchez’s Loan

Inter and Manchester United will meet soon to discuss extending Alexis Sanchez’s loan until the end of the season according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The Chilean national team attacker joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer and the loan is set to expire at the end of this month.

The clubs will have to come to an agreement to extend the loan until the end of the season, which has been extended due to the Coronavirus crisis which forced football across the planet to a halt.

The report goes on to explain that during loan extension discussions, the two clubs could possibly discuss a permanent move for the Chilean, who Inter manager Antonio Conte could push to have signed if he performs well in the remainder of the season.

Whilst on loan at Inter, Sanchez has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided three assists.

Inter Will Only Let Barcelona Target Lautaro Martinez Leave If €111M Release Clause Activated

Inter will only let Lautaro Martinez depart the club if his release clause is activated according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The 22-year-old Argentine national team striker has reached an agreement in principle with Barcelona over personal terms but the agreement will be useless unless Barcelona cough up the €111 million required to trigger the release clause in his Inter contract.

At the moment, Barcelona cannot afford to pay that amount and could try and do a deal including a player or players to bring down the cash element but the report explains that the cash Inter will demand will still be high if this is the route Barcelona want to go down.

Moreover, the report suggests that Inter are reluctant to deal the former Racing Club player away due to not having a replacement lined-up in the event he does go on to leave the club.

Barcelona Could Finance Signing Inter’s Lautaro Martinez By Selling Ansu Fati To Man Utd

La Liga giants Barcelona could soon cash in on teenage sensation Ansu Fati by selling him to Manchester United, according to a report from the print edition of British news outlet The Times.

According to Italian media outlet FCInter1908, the funds received of the transfer of Ansu Fati to Manchester United, could be used to finance the signing of Inter’s Lautaro Martinez.

According to The Times, the Red Devils are seemingly desperate to add the youngster to their ranks and having seen a €100 million offer knocked back in the past few days, they have come back in with an offer of €150 million.

The most recent offer falls just €20 million short of Fati’s release clause and should Manchester United be able to prize Fati away from Barcelona, the Blaugrana club will have more than enough money in the bank to trigger Lautaro’s €111 million release clause.

Barcelona have been courting Lautaro for a considerable amount of time but have so far been unable to meet Inter’s demands and have had several offers already rejected by the Nerazzurri.
