Torino Consider Offering Izzo & Nkoulou To Inter In Exchange For Radja Nainggolan

Torino are interested in signing Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Granata are one of many clubs interested in signing the Belgian midfielder, who has impressed this season whilst on loan with Cagliari.

Torino have two players that could be sent to Inter in exchange that may tempt the Nerazzurri, with the first being 28-year-old Italian defender Armando Izzo, who coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of. The other player that could be included in a possible swap deal is 30-year-old Cameroonian defender Nicolas Nkoulou.

Torino understand that it would be difficult to sign Nainggolan, the report continues, due to both his high value and high wages. The Belgian midfielder is worth around €19.4 million and earns around €4.5 million net per season, high figures considering the current financial climate thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Man Utd Coach Solskjaer On Inter Loanee Alexis Sanchez: “A Place For Good Players Here”

Manchester United coach Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer discussed his squad and a possible return of Alexis Sanchez from Inter in an interview with English tabloid the Daily Star earlier today.

“Of course, there’s a place for good players and good people in this environment. Let’s see where we get to after the season, because we do feel this squad is exciting. We do feel we’re on the way to something.”

Solskjaer then highlighted how sometimes just having good players doesn’t make a good squad, as there are more factors at play such as teamwork or chemistry.

“It’s up to all the players when they’re here to do well, because there’s always talk of people coming in and out, and it’s about gelling this group together. Sometimes when you decorate your living room it might be a nice chair or nice sofa, but it maybe doesn’t go with the rest of it. For us to think about major honours, our focus is about finishing the league this season.”

The 31-year-old Sanchez has spent this season on a dry loan at the Nerazzurri from the Red Devils but has struggled to show off his qualities after suffering an ankle injury whilst on international duty early in the season. The player returned to the squad after Christmas but hasn’t truly shined yet under coach Antonio Conte. Despite his lack of results, the Milanese club are considering signing the player on loan for next season as well, with the Lecce born coach appreciating the qualities of the 31-year-old.

Sanchez did impress in his brief appearance against Napoli yesterday in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final, doing more in the game than the player he replaced, the 22-year-old Lautaro Martinez. Sanchez’s role could grow if Lautaro stays unfocused amidst interest from Barcelona.

Inter Linked Arsenal Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: “Haven’t Decided What I Will Do Yet”

Arsenal striker and Inter target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang discussed his future, a possible departure from the Gunners and his contract situation in an interview with French media outlet Telefoot earlier today.

“I haven’t received an offer recently, but obviously there have been discussions with the club for some months now and they know very well why nothing has happened so far. It is they who hold the keys and need to do their job.”

The 30-year-old discussed how this summer will be a turning point in his career and how he hasn’t made a decision regarding his future yet.

“We’ll see how things go next. It’s a turning point in my career and I’ll be very honest with everyone, it will obviously be a very difficult decision to make because I haven’t decided yet. It is perhaps the most important decision of my career. To be clear, nothing has been decided.”

Inter have been linked with the 30-year-old Aubameyang for some time now, as the Nerazzurri are looking for a replacement for the 22-year-old Lautaro Martinez, who is likely to be sold to Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Blaugrana are incredibly keen to sign the Argentine forward, believing that he would be the perfect replacement for the aging Luis Suarez.

The Nerazzurri haven’t found the perfect replacement for Lautaro yet, with Aubameyang being one of many players being considered by the Milanese club. Other options include Timo Werner and Edinson Cavani, but so far no player is particularly close to the club.

Man Utd Plan To Reintegrate Alexis Sanchez As A Rotation Player After Inter Loan Expires

Manchester United may be willing to reintegrate Alexis Sanchez into the squad after his loan spell expires with Inter, but only if he is willing to transition into a squad player, according to a report from English tabloid The Mirror.

The report details how the Red Devils signed the player from Arsenal in January 2018, giving him a £400,000-a-week contract that won’t expire until 2022.

He has only scored 32 league goals for Manchester United in that time, massively disappointing. He also hasn’t impressed much whilst on loan with Inter so far this season, although the Milanese club are considering signing him on loan for another season.

Manchester United would be willing to reintegrate Sanchez into the squad, the report continues, but only if he agrees to change his role. Instead of being a guaranteed starter, the 31-year-old Chilean would have to agree to be more of a squad player, filling in when necessary and rotating often at the whim of coach Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer.

Spanish Media Claim Barcelona Could Be Forced To Keep Inter Linked Nelson Semedo

Barcelona may be forced to keep 26-year-old Portuguese right back Nelson Semedo, despite trying to offload him to Inter, Manchester City and Juventus, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Marca earlier today.

The report details how the Blaugrana have been trying to sell Semedo after the player failed to reach a contract renewal agreement with the Catalan club. Barcelona had been talking to the Nerazzurri, the Bianconeri and the Citizens, trying to find a new home for the 26-year-old.

Juventus decided not to pay the amount requested by the Blaugrana, the report continues, with Manchester City also never really being interested in the player. Barcelona attempted to include Semedo in the deal for 22-year-old Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez but Inter had no interest as the Blaugrana value the player at €41 million, a figure far too high for the Nerazzurri to agree with. It seems now that Semedo will stay in Catalonia for the time being.

Inter Plan To Strengthen Midfield By Signing Sandro Tonali & Reintegrating Radja Nainggolan

Inter’s top priority for the upcoming summer transfer market will be to buy Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, as the Nerazzurri look to strengthen their midfield department, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are planning to overhaul the department in order to remove the dead weight and replace them with strong and exciting options. Borja Valero’s contract will expire at the end of the season and it won’t be renewed. Radja Nainggolan could return from his dry loan at Cagliari and be reintegrated into the squad.

Inter coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, the report continues, but the Milanese club have no interest in signing the 33-year-old, given Christian Eriksen’s strong performance last night and Nainggolan’s potential summer return.

One of Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini will also be sold, with the only confirmed players in the department being Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Stefano Sensi and Eriksen.

Italian Media Claim Inter To Sell Lautaro Martinez To Barcelona For €90M + A Player At End Of Season

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez may become a cause of concern for the Nerazzurri in the remaining games of the season, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera, although he should be sold to Barcelona in a deal worth €90 million.

The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2023, disappointed against Napoli in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final yesterday, being seemingly invisible throughout the game.

The player is likely to end up at Barcelona in the summer in a deal worth around €90 million, lower than his €111 million release clause, with the Milanese club taking a player in exchange as well.

Lautaro needs to return to the form he found at the start of the season, the report continues, as the player has appeared sluggish for a few months now, even disappointing in the final few games before the Coronavirus stop.

Inter risk having a striker who disappoints and lowers his value through poor performances, and so coach Antonio Conte will need to work hard to ensure the player is still fully focused on his time with Inter.

Italian Journalist Ravezzani: “Conte Complains Napoli Only Defend But Up To Inter To Play”

Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani spoke about Inter coach Antonio Conte’s comments that he was satisfied with the Nerazzurri’s performance in last night’s 1-1 draw against Napoli in a post on his Twitter page.

The report details how the Milanese club drew 1-1 to Napoli last night in the Stadio San Paolo, but the result wasn’t enough to bring them to the Coppa Italia final next week, thanks to a 1-0 loss to the Partenopei at the San Siro before the Coronavirus stop three months ago.

Conte suggested that he was happy with the performance despite the draw, but the Nerazzurri should have won considering the strength of the squad compared to the Gennaro Gattuso’s team.

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez also disappointing the report continues, and was seemingly invisible for the majority of the game. Conte will need to figure out what went wrong across both legs and look to fix it, rather than simply being satisfied with the performance and moving on.

“Conte complains that Napoli ‘only defend.’ This is true but it is up to Inter to play the game, he has a decisively better squad. This is why the tactical approach by Gattuso was the winning one. Then, of course, if Lautaro played like he is able to, we would be speaking of a great Inter.”

Italian Media Praise Performance Of Referee Gianluca Rocchi In Inter’s Coppa Italia Clash Vs Napoli

A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has analysed the performance of Italian referee Gianluca Rocchi in Inter’s 1-1 draw against Napoli yesterday in the Coppa Italia semi-finals.

The report details how the referee booked Nerazzurri wing back Ashley Young for a challenge against Matteo Politano early on, with the decision being correct. Some 22 minutes later, the two players clashed again, with Young again fouling his opponent, which could have been a second yellow card.

Inter defender Stefan De Vrij was rightly warned for a foul on Napoli forward Dries Mertens. The final point of contention was a possible handball committed by De Vrij, the report continues.

The 28-year-old Dutchman was involved in a handball shout after the ball shot past his left forearm. His arm seemed to be in a natural position but the ball did also seemingly skim it, making it a difficult decision.

Italian Media Argue Inter Players Still Don’t Understand Antonio Conte’s Tactics

A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera has suggested that Inter deserved to beat Napoli in last night’s 1-1 Coppa Italia draw but suffered in the second half.

The report details how the Nerazzurri started the game well thanks to Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen and his 2nd minute goal but the Nerazzurri didn’t take the opportunity to extend their lead and instead finished the first half still only 1-0 up.

The Nerazzurri’s best moments came in that first half, before Napoli understood how to mark Eriksen. In the second half Inter strikers Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku were both disappointing, the report continues, in part due to the fact that there were so many Nerazzurri players on the edge of the Napoli box, suffocating the duo.

Inter deserved to win the game but the squad seemingly employed the game plan requested by Conte but still don’t seem to genuinely understand the system, and instead only follow his exact instructions.
