Inter Prepared To Pay Roma Midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini’s €30M Release Clause

Inter are ready to pay Lorenzo Pellegrini’s release clause according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The Roma midfielder has a €30 million release clause in his current contract with the Giallorossi club, a clause which can be paid in two instalments of €15 million.

Pellegrini currently only earns €2 million a year at the Italian capital city club and the report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are facing competition for his signature.

Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain are both also interested in signing the Italian national team midfielder, who is under contract with Roma until the end of the 2021/22 season.

This season the 23-year-old, who formerly played for Sassuolo, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just shy of 1900 minutes, he has scored three goals and provided 11 assists for his teammates.

Italian Media Details Why Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata Is Too Expensive For Inter

A move for Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata is too expensive for Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The Nerazzurri have reportedly shown an interest in the Spanish national team striker as a potential replacement for Barcelona linked Lautaro Martinez but this report suggests that the Nerazzurri will not be making any move for the 27-year-old.

Morata is currently out on loan at Atletico Madrid from Premier League side Chelsea and is expected to be purchased outright for €55 million meaning he will cost at least that to sign and he also has an annual salary of €10 million, which is too much for Inter.

The former Juventus striker has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, which totals just over 2300 minutes, he has scored a total of 13 goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

PSG’s Edinson Cavani’s High Wage Demands Make Transfer To Inter More & More Unlikely

Edinson Cavani does not wish to drop his contract demands according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan national team striker is set to become a free agent with his Paris Saint-Germain contract just weeks away from expiring and he has drawn links to a number of clubs.

Inter have shown an interest in signing him to bolster their options but simply cannot afford to meet the 33-year-old’s salary demands of €12 million a year.

Inter do not want to go above €7.5 million a year plus add-ons and as time passes the chances of Cavani ending up at Inter are decreasing.

Cavani, who has also drawn strong links to Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date this term.

In his time on the field, the former Napoli player has scored seven goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

Inter Duo Godin & Vecino Will More Than Likely Miss Napoli Match

Diego Godin and Matias Vecino are almost certain to miss Inter’s Coppa Italia semi final second leg away to Napoli this weekend due to injury according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Uruguayan duo have both been struggling with muscle problems as of late and the injuries have all but ruled them out of Saturday night’s affair at the Stadio San Paolo.

Whilst they will miss out, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni, who have both also been struggling with injury as of late, will be available for selection and should start alongside Milan Skriniar at the back.

The report goes on to explain that Inter manager Antonio Conte is also currently favouring Antonio Candreva over Victor Moses to start at right wing back.

Probable Inter starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Antonio Candreva, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Ashley Young; Christian Eriksen; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.

Inter Don’t Want A Repeat Of Zaniolo Situation With Esposito

Inter do not want a repeat of the Nicolo Zaniolo situation with Sebastiano Esposito according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are currently in talks with Esposito over a first professional contract until 2025. The parties are currently some way apart in talks but Inter are hopeful of being able to reach an agreement with the teen sensation.

There has been no shortage of rumours in recent days regarding Esposito’s future at the club with many reports elsewhere suggesting he could be sold but this report explains that the only way the Italian youth national team will leave the club is on loan.

The reason for this is Inter do not want to let him go permanently and see him flourish elsewhere just like what happened with Nicolo Zaniolo, who Inter inserted in a deal with Roma to sign Radja Nainggolan back in 2018.

Conte Will Only Agree To Let Lautaro Martinez Leave Inter Once He Receives Guarantees Regarding A Replacement

Inter manager Antonio Conte will not give the green light for Lautaro Martinez to be sold until he has guarantees over a replacement for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have been clear to Barcelona that Lautaro is not for sale and that if they want him they either pay his €111 million release clause, which expires on July 7, or they make an offer consisting of a cash sum of €80-90 million plus defender Junior Firpo.

For the time being, Barcelona have failed to come close to Inter’s demands with the offers they have made, as per various reports in the media.

It continues to remain to be seen whether the La Liga giants will meet Inter’s demands for the highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team striker.

This season Lautaro, who has a contract with Inter until 2023, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the field, he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.
