Inter Not Giving Up On Signing Roma & Napoli Linked Tottenham Defender Jan Vertonghen

Inter are not giving up in their pursuit of Jan Vertonghen and are facing competition from two fellow Serie A clubs according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Belgian national team defender’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur is due to expire at the end of this month and both Napoli and Roma have also shown an interest in signing him.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to report that Inter are also continuing to court Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla.

Kumbulla has been one of the biggest revelations of the 2019/20 Serie A season, which has been his first team breakthrough season with the Gialloblu club.

Inter will need to pay around €35 million to sign him and they could well opt to loan him back to Hellas Verona for next season so he will be able to play more regularly.

Inter Owned Goalkeeper Brazao To Be Sent Out On Loan For One More Season

Gabriel Brazao will return from his current loan spell but will be loaned out again next season by Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The young Brazilian goalkeeper is currently out on loan at Spanish second division side Albacete and a number of Spanish clubs have already come forward and expressed an interest in loaning him next season.

Inter consider him to be a goalkeeper for the future but he will not be part of the goalkeeping trio next season which will consist of Samir Handanovic, Ionut Radu and one of Daniele Padelli and Tommasso Berni.

Given his lack of playing time this term, the hope is that Brazao’s next loan club will allow him to play consistently in order to allow him to better himself as a player.

The 19-year-old shot-stopper has been limited to just four appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has kept a single clean sheet.

Inter Linked Morata Fears Losing Starting Place In Atletico Madrid Team To Cavani

Alvaro Morata fears the prospect of losing his place in the Atletico Madrid team to Edinson Cavani according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Cavani has been heavily linked with a move to the La Liga side and Morata is worried that the Uruguayan’s arrival could push him down the pecking order at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The report goes on to explain that Inter could perhaps take advantage of this and the Nerazzurri have already been in contact with the player’s agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bozzo over a possible move.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has excellent relations with Bozzo having conducted several deals in the past involving his clients and one of those deals was in fact involving Morata.

The report also goes on to add that Bozzo represents Inter transfer target Sandro Tonali too and Inter want to close a deal for the 20-year-old as soon as possible amid interest from Juventus.

Lautaro Martinez Won’t Force A Move Away From Inter As Talks With Barcelona Stall

Lautaro Martinez will not try and force a move away from Inter to Barcelona according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The highly rated 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Blaugrana club for a considerable amount of time but despite this the Argentine will wait and see what happens rather than try and force things.

He has a €111 million release clause in his contract, something Barcelona are seemingly reluctant to pay and they would instead prefer to do a player or players plus cash deal for him.

The report goes on to explain that the former Racing Club player has not lost focus on the task at hand at Inter and is focused upon this weekend’s Coppa Italia semi final second leg away to Napoli.

The player intends to give his all for Inter and if in the end he does leave, he hopes to do so with his head held high and perhaps having won a trophy.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta Working On Deal For Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is already working on a deal to bring Alvaro Morata to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Things are still at a preliminary stage and it is said that Inter manager Antonio Conte prefers Morata to the likes of Edinson Cavani, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Luka Jovic, Moussa Dembele, Federico Chiesa and Andrea Belotti.

Morata will have to be signed outright from Chelsea for €55 million and due to the likely arrival of Cavani, Los Colcohneros are likely to place Morata on the transfer list and could demand a fee in the region of €60-65 million for him.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that there are a number of things that could help Morata join Inter including his tactical suitability for Antonio Conte’s system, having an Italian wife and past experience in Serie A.

Atalanta Interested In Re-Signing €12M Rated Inter Midfielder Roberto Gagliardini

Atalanta are really interested in bringing former midfielder Roberto Gagliardini back to the club from Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Inter manager Antonio Conte likes the Italian midfielder Inter paid €22 million to sign from Atalanta but with the return of Radja Nainggolan and possible arrival of Sandro Tonali in the coming months, Gagliardini is likely to slide down the pecking order.

The Italian midfielder has a value against Inter’s books of €8 million and the Nerazzurri club are understood to value him in the region of €12-13 million.

His €2 million a year salary could be a problem for Atalanta but the good relationship between the two clubs could help a deal happen.

The player is not entirely sold on the idea of leaving a side like Inter for a provincial side in Atalanta, according to the report.

By returning to Atalanta however, Gagliardini could start regularly and increase his chances of inclusion in the Italian national team.

Spanish Media Claim Real Madrid Target Inter Defender Stefan de Vrij

Real Madrid have set their sights on signing Inter central defender Stefan de Vrij ahead of the upcoming transfer window according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Don Balon.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez considers de Vrij to be a good and pretty cheap option compared to others given the 28-year-old Dutchman is unlikely to cost any more than €40 million.

It is widely understood that Los Blancos are on the lookout for a long term replacement for club captain Sergio Ramos, whose contract is due to expire at the end of next season.

Reports elsewhere in the media have linked the Spanish powerhouses with a move for de Vrij’s Inter teammate Milan Skriniar but Inter are understood to want at least €80 million to even consider letting the Slovakian international depart the club.

This season Skriniar has contributed a single assist in 32 appearances across all competitions to date.

Italian Media Claims Diego Godin Could Ask Inter To Be Sold In Coming Months

Diego Godin could ask to be sold by Inter in the coming months according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Uruguayan national team defender has had a difficult first season with the Nerazzurri and with reports in the media stating Inter are looking to bolster their defensive options, the former Atletico Madrid captain could seek a way out of the club.

Godin is still yet to communicate what his intentions are with Inter and the report suggests that he may well decide to ask to be put on the transfer list.

The veteran defender has struggled throughout the campaign, particularly when it comes to adapting to Inter manager Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

This season the 34-year-old has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just over 1900 minutes, he has contributed a single assist and helped Inter keep six clean sheets.

Milan Skriniar is on Real Madrid’s radar as they look to find a replacement for the ageing Sergio Ramos according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Los Blancos signed Eder Militao last Summer and hoped he would be the long term replacement for Ramos but the Brazilian has failed to live up to expectations and as a result Real Madrid bosses are once again looking around for someone who could replace Ramos.

Ramos has been a stalwart of the Real Madrid side for the past decade or so and his contract with the club is due to expire at the end of next season by which time he will be 35-years-old.

The report from Mundo Deportivo goes on to state that Inter have made it clear that they will only allow Skriniar to depart the club in the event that they receive an €80 million offer for him.

The Slovakian national team defender has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has contributed a single assist.
