Inter & Atalanta In Talks Over Transfer Of Striker Sebastiano Esposito

Atalanta are seriously interested in signing Inter teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The two clubs have held talks over the 17-year-old striker and Inter are evaluating what to do with the youngster, who is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects to come through the club’s ranks in recent times.

The report goes on to explain that the two clubs could do a deal akin to the one that saw Andrea Pinamonti leave Inter for Genoa.

By doing the same style of deal as the Pinamonti one, Inter would have a priority when it comes to signing him in the future.

The youngster, who is yet to sign a professional contract with Inter, has had his first team breakthrough this term. He has made 11 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a single goal.

Sebastiano Esposito Rejects Inter’s Contract Offer Worth €800K Net Per Year & Sacks Agent

Sebastiano Esposito has rejected a five year contract offer from Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Augusto Carpeggiani reached an agreement with Inter over a five year deal with an annual salary of €800,000 plus add-ons but the player deemed the offer to be inappropriate and has now sacked Carpeggiani as his agent.

As per the report, the Italian youth national team player is holding out for an annual salary of €1-1.1 million a year plus add-ons, which is around 10 times as much as he currently earns annually.

Having now broken away from Carpeggiani, the race is now on amongst agents to snap Esposito up and as per the report Federico Pastorello is likely going to win the race.

Pastorello has good relations with Inter thanks to having a number of clients already at the club, including Inter’s club record transfer signing Romelu Lukaku.

Gianluca Di Marzio: “Talks Between Barcelona & Inter Over Lautaro Martinez On Standby”

Negotiations between Inter and Barcelona over Lautaro Martinez are currently on standby according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Negotiations between the two clubs over the highly rated 22-year-old striker have been ongoing for some time now but they have been halted, partly because Inter do not have a replacement lined up for the Argentine national team player.

“Marotta has told the truth, although it must be said that Inter and Barcelona have discussed different value of the release clause in recent weeks, with the inclusion of players as part payment,” Di Marzio explained whilst present in the Sky Sport Italia studios earlier on this evening.

“To date, there is no agreement between the two clubs. In the last few days the negotiations have gone on standby.

“Inter have no replacement. Werner is going to Chelsea whilst Cavani doesn’t want to sit down and negotiate because he wants to understand all the possible solutions.”

Lautaro, who has a contract with Inter through to the end of the 2022/23 season, has a €111 million release clause in his contract with Inter but it has been widely reported that Barcelona have no intention of paying it.

The former Racing Club player has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, Lautaro has scored 16 goals and has provided a total of four assists for his teammates too.

Gianluca Di Marzio: “Tonali Is Inter’s Primary Target, Chiesa Talks With Fiorentina Never Taken Off”

Sandro Tonali is one of Inter’s top transfer targets for the upcoming transfer window according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio

The Brescia and Italian national team midfielder has been heavily linked with the Nerazzurri for some time now and some reports in the media have suggested that Inter already have an agreement in principle with the player over personal terms.

“He has become a primary target for Inter due to his age, cost and for the fact that he is Italian and for the fact that he is a player very much appreciated by the club,” Di Marzio remarked whilst present in the Sky Sport Italia studios, earlier this afternoon.

Di Marzio also provided an update on the status of Inter’s pursuit of Federico Chiesa, who, like Tonali, Inter have courted for a considerable amount of time.

The highly rated 22-year-old Italian national team winger has long been linked with a move away from Fiorentina and Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso has admitted he player will be allowed to leave if he asks to and they get an offer which matches their evaluation of him.

“The negotiations have never taken off, beyond some contact in the past few days.”

Inter and Roma are both interested in signing Banfield’s Agustin Urzi but have yet to make a move for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter Speed Up Pursuit Of Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen As Roma Cool Their Interest

Inter have sped up their pursuit to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen on a free transfer according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.

The Belgian national team player’s contract with the Premier League club is set to expire at the end of this month and Inter are seemingly looking to wrap up a deal for him soon.

Roma have also shown a keen interest in signing him as of late but the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that the Giallorossi club have cooled their interest due to the fact they are close to reaching an agreement with Manchester United to extend Chris Smalling’s loan with the club.

Roma Have No Interest In Selling Inter & Juventus Linked Nicolo Zaniolo

Roma have no interest in selling highly rated midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo for the time being according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.

The Italian national team player has drawn links to both Inter and Juventus in the past few days and some reports have suggested Roma have already rejected a cash plus Radja Nainggolan offer from Inter.

If Roma’s stance changes, they want at least €60 million for him, due to the fact they will have to give 15% of any fee to Inter. If Zaniolo were to be sold for €60 million for example, Inter would get €9 million of it.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to explain that Roma have no interest in doing any sort of swap deal involving the player either and solely want cash for him.

This season Zaniolo has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored six goals and provided two assists.

Former Inter defender and FC Sion manager Paolo Tramezzani believes that Hertha Berlin’s Mattheus Cunha would be an ideal signing for Inter to make in the upcoming transfer window.

In the past few weeks Cunha is one of several players to have come into links with Inter and reports have suggested that Inter may need to pay in excess of €30 million if they wish to bring him to the club in the coming months.

“He is now doing well in the Bundesliga, he is a very young and if he played for Conte, he could be used in different roles. He is ideal for Inter,” Tramezzani, who managed the highly rated Brazilian at Sion, explained in an interview with Stats Perform News, as cited by FCInterNews.it.

“He has immense quality, he likes to have a field in front of him to run into. He is good in one on one situations and also plays for the team. He is a golden boy who is chasing a dream that is coming true.”

Cunha only joined Hertha Berlin back in the January transfer window from fellow Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and he has shone in the German capital.

Italian Media Report Fiorentina To Let Inter & Juventus Target Chiesa Leave Club For €60M

There are two prerequisites required before Fiorentina will agree to let Federico Chiesa depart the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere Fiorentino.

The first is that Chiesa asks to leave the club and the second is that La Viola receive an offer of €60 million for him.

As things stand, neither of these things have happened as of yet and in the past few days there was contact between Chiesa and club president and owner Rocco Commisso regarding his future with the club.

A more decisive meeting could take place when Commisso will be able to return to Florence and meet with Chiesa in the flesh.

Chiesa has long drawn links to both Inter and Juventus and a number of Premier League clubs have also reportedly shown an interest in signing him.

This season the 22-year-old Italian national team winger has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
