Inter could use the same formula they used to sign Nicolo Barella to sign Marash Kumbulla from Hellas Verona according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have already met with Hellas Verona over Kumbulla and the Gialloblu have told the Nerazzurri that they want €28 million plus €7 million in add-ons.

Inter could sign Kumbulla in a high fee paying loan deal with an obligation to buy attached and the report also states that Inter could even allow Kumbulla to remain at Hellas Verona for another season.

Inter may even look to include some players into any deal to bring down the cost with the likes of Federico Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo both possible inclusions.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state Inter could meet with Brescia during this week to hold talks over Sandro Tonali, who is one of their main transfer targets.

Barcelona need to raise a sum of €70 million by the end of this month in order to balance the club’s books according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

To raise the sum, the reigning La Liga champions will have to sell players and the report suggests that they could try and sell the following players, Jean-Clair Todibo, Marc Cucurella, Rafinha, Moussa Wague, Philippe Coutinho and Carles Aleñá.

Whilst needing to do this, Barcelona have still moved to reach agreements over personal terms with transfer targets Lautaro Martinez and Miralem Pjanic, both of whom they are yet to reach an agreement with Inter and Juventus over.

The report also goes on to explain that Barcelona need to trim their wage bill. The club managed to start the process of trimming the wage bill by reducing the numbers in the first team last Summer to 18, which became 19 in January when Martin Braithwaite was brought in following Ousmane Dembele’s injury.

Contract negotiations between Inter and the representatives of Sebastiano Esposito are to continue with both parties having the intention of staying together according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Esposito is due to turn 18-years-old in the coming weeks and Inter are looking to hand him a five year contract once his birthday has taken place.

His representatives are looking for Inter to give their client a contract in line with the one that they handed Andrea Pinamonti a few years back, which consisted of a €1 million annual salary plus add-ons.

Inter are not wanting to give the highly rated teen sensation as much as that though.

The report goes on to explain that Esposito could remain with the first team next season or he could be loaned out to another Serie A club.

This season Esposito has made 11 appearances across all competitions at first team level, in which he has scored a single goal.

Lautaro Martinez could soon make his thoughts known about a move to Barcelona according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Argentine national team forward has been heavily linked with a move to the reigning La Liga champions for some time and whilst talks have been held between the clubs, the player has not come out and expressed what he wants yet, something many reports have suggested could make a difference in negotiations.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to explain that Lautaro could soon make things clear to Inter management as well as Barcelona, who do not want to pay his €111 million release clause.

For the time being they are willing to offer between €60-70 million, plus Junior Firpo and they could perhaps also offer another player to the Nerazzurri.

Barcelona see the possible signing of Lautaro as a strategic one, especially for the future and because of Lionel Messi’s flattery for his compatriot.

Roma are trying to work out whether they can afford to keep a hold of highly rated midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo according to a report from Italian news agency ANSA.

The Giallorossi club have already rejected offers for the Italian national team player, who has had interest shown in him from several clubs.

The report explains that Roma have rejected an offer of Federico Bernardeschi, Cristian Romero and cash for Zaniolo whilst Inter have offered Radja Nainggolan plus cash and have told Roma that they would give them a 15% sell on fee clause on Zaniolo.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all also interested in signing the 20-year-old. Roma will take offers into consideration but ultimately hope that they will not have to let Zaniolo depart the club.

The report from ANSA goes on to explain that Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali has also chosen a move to Inter over other options on the table.

Manchester United are seriously considering making a move for Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa in the upcoming transfer window according to a report from Italian news agency ANSA.

The Premier League club initially saw Chiesa as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho but this report suggests that they see him as something more than that now and they are considering making a €60 million offer for the highly rated 22-year-old winger.

The report also states that Fiorentina would take such an offer into consideration for the Italian national team player, who has also been heavily linked with potential moves to both Inter and Juventus for a considerable time.

Should Manchester United make a bid, it would remain to be seen whether this would force Inter and Juventus into action.

This season Chiesa, who has a contract with La Viola until 2022, has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and provided five assists for his teammates.

Barcelona must now decide whether they wish to sign Inter’s Lautaro Martinez or Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo director Santi Nolla.

The Blaugrana club wished to sign the pair of them in the upcoming transfer window but doing so is an impossible dream given the current circumstances.

Nolla believes that there are a number of factors for Barcelona to consider when making their choice between the two and if they are thinking solely from a sporting point of view then he thinks Neymar should be the man Barcelona go for as he can make more of an impact in games than Lautaro.

“Barcelona must decide whether they want one or the other. Having both is a dream that is difficult to implement in current circumstances, even if it was a real wish of theirs,” he began his opinion piece.

“It is not a question of short or long term: the two purchases are beyond the short term because in football (and today in almost everything) nothing can go beyond three years.

“It is a complex choice, because there is not only a sporting criterion on which to base oneself. There is a past with the Brazilian who a part of Barcelona does not forgive, even if Neymar has repeatedly shown that he wants to return. The decision is clear and difficult: Neymar or Lautaro? Both are impossible.

“If the criterion is only sporting, Neymar is better than the Argentine, even though he is an excellent player, a good bet for the future and very competitive. Ney is capable of winning a game, as he did on the day of the comeback with PSG.”

Nolla then went on to suggest that Barcelona could make their decision by thinking which of the two they would rather rivals Real Madrid not sign.

“There is a very malevolent question to find out who interests Barça the most. Who would Real Madrid prefer to sign Neymar or Lautaro ? Or from the Barcelona point of view, who would they prefer Real Madrid to sign?”

Lautaro has 16 goals and four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions this season whilst Neymar has 18 goals and 10 assists in 22 appearances.

Inter have cooled their interest in Marash Kumbulla and are now focusing on bringing Jan Vertonghen to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri club do not wish to be caught up in a bidding war for the Albanian international defender and for this reason they have pulled themselves out of the race to sign him in the upcoming transfer window.

Inter have now shifted their attention onto Vertonghen, who could be acquired on a free transfer, given his contract with Tottenham Hotspur is to expire at the end of this month.

In the past few weeks Inter’s fellow Serie A club Roma have also shown an interest in the Belgian in case they are unable to turn Chris Smalling’s loan move into a permanent stay.

Should Vertonghen join Inter, he will be the fifth player to have arrived from the Premier League in the space of a year following on from the arrivals of Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Ashley Young and Victor Moses.

Inter do not wish to meet Fiorentina’s demands for the Italian national team winger and could look to reduce the overall cost of the deal by offering a player or players.

Moreover, Inter have no interest in being caught up in a bidding war with arch rivals Juventus, who are also long term admirers of Chiesa.

The report goes on to add that Manchester United are also keen on Chiesa but he has no interest in leaving Italy, especially given the European Championship’s will take place next Summer.
