Sassuolo’s Jeremie Boga: “Flattered By Links To Inter, Juventus, AC Milan, Napoli & Roma”

In an interview with French broadcaster RMC Sport earlier on today, Jeremie Boga has admitted that he is flattered by the interest that clubs are reportedly showing in him.

Inter, AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and Napoli have all been linked with making moves for the Ivorian midfielder ahead of the upcoming transfer window and whilst the player has revealed he is flattered, he has also insisted that he is focused on Sassuolo.

“I have read that there is interest from great Italian clubs and this flatters me. When I see myself linked to clubs like Roma, Napoli, AC Milan, Inter and Juventus, it is always a pleasure,” he explained.

“For now though I am at Sassuolo and I am concentrating on ending the season well. I want to achieve my goals, then we will see what will happen next year.”

He then went on to reveal some of his long term goals for his career: “Playing in the Champions League or in the Europa League is a dream that I have had since I was a child. It is a goal for the future that I keep in mind.”

The 23-year-old joined Sassuolo back in Summer of 2018 from Chelsea and they bought out Chelsea’s buy-back option on him in the past few days.

The one time Ivorian national team player has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the field, which totals just shy of 2000 minutes, he has scored eight goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Inter & Hellas Verona In Talks Over Extending Eddie Salcedo’s Loan For Another Season

Inter and Hellas Verona are in talks over the possibility of extending Eddie Salcedo’s loan until the end of next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian youth national team player joined the Gialloblu club on a season long loan this past Summer and although he has spent a long time on the sidelines due to injury, they are working to extend his loan deal with them for another season.

The 18-year-old striker has made 10 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored one goal.

Reports in the media have suggested that Inter could potentially use Salcedo as a bargaining chip in a deal for central defender Marash Kumbulla. Other reports have meanwhile suggested he could return to Inter and be incorporated into the first team and take the place of Sebastiano Esposito who is set to be loaned out.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani has communicated with interested clubs that he will not make a decision on his future until the season is over according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan national team striker’s contract with the Ligue 1 outfit is set to expire at the end of this month and he has drawn links to a whole array of clubs from all corners of the world in recent weeks and months.

Cagliari Loanee Radja Nainggolan’s Future To Be Decided Upon Inter Return

Radja Nainggolan’s future will be decided upon his return to Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The former Belgian national team player is currently out on loan at Inter’s fellow Serie A side Cagliari and will return to the Nerazzurri once the loan deal expires but his future is far from clear at the moment.

As per the report, one of two things could happen with the former Roma player. The Nerazzurri club could include him as a counterpart in a deal for another player or he could be reintegrated into the first team picture given it will be difficult to get €20 million for him, which is too high a figure for clubs to pay for him during this crisis period.

The 32-year-old joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 and has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date in an Inter shirt. Whilst representing the club, Nainggolan has scored seven goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

Manchester United have opened up to the possibility of extending Alexis Sanchez’s loan with Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The Chilean national team player joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer from the Premier League side and if he is to do well in the remainder of the season, there is a chance that he could remain with the Nerazzurri past the end of this season.

As per the report, Inter could give the Spaniard the €5 million a year deal that they had planned to give to Napoli’s Dries Mertens.

It also goes on to add that Inter are standing firm with their stance on Lautaro Martinez amid continued interest from Barcelona and are awaiting a response from Edinson Cavani.

Italian Media Claims Inter Wont Let Man City Target Milan Skriniar Leave For Less Than €80M

Inter could let Milan Skriniar depart the club in the coming months provided they get an offer of at least €80 million for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Whilst Inter are not looking to actively sell the Slovakian central defender, if they received an offer in the region of the value above they could take a sale into consideration.

Several clubs have moved for him in the past but Inter have knocked back the offers due to them not wanting to sell him.

Manchester City in particular have shown a keen interest in signing Skriniar for some time whilst Barcelona have also recently come forward and expressed an interest in the former Sampdoria player.

The 25-year-old, who has a contract with Inter until 2023, has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has provided a single assist for his teammates.

Italian Media Highlight Why Inter In Strong Position In Lautaro Martinez Talks With Barcelona

Inter will be in a strong position if they are to sit around the negotiating table with Barcelona over Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia which was aired a short time ago.

Thanks to the €58 million sale of Mauro Icardi to Paris Saint-Germain, Inter have cash in the bank and do not need to sell the highly rated 22-year-old Argentine nor do they have to enter into negotiations for him with Barcelona or any other interested club.

The report explains that even in the event that Inter agree to have negotiations with Barcelona in order to please the player, they would still be in a strong position to demand what they want for him and have the possibility of selling him for his €111 million release clause.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the pitch, he has scored 16 goals and provided a total of four assists for his teammates.
