Pedro’s representatives have offered their client to both Inter and Juventus in the past few days according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Spaniard’s contract with Premier League Chelsea is set to expire at the end of this month and the report explains that the former Barcelona player is looking to finish his career with a spell playing in Italy.

Contacts between his representatives and Roma have been ongoing for a few weeks and both Inter and Juventus have stated they are open to holding talks over potentially bringing him in.

Inter manager Antonio Conte and Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri both rate the 32-year-old highly with both of them having had success whilst managing him in the past.

The report goes on to explain that the only player in Inter’s current squad is Alexis Sanchez but the Chilean is only on loan at Inter and him staying permanently is rather complicated due to his huge salary.

Pedro could therefore be brought in to take the space that will be vacated by Sanchez and could sign a two year contract with an annual salary of between €4-5 million.

Barcelona are beginning to have doubts about signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter according to a report from Spanish football journalist Francesc Aguilar, who works for Mundo Deportivo.

According to Aguilar, Barcelona’s pursuit of the highly rated 22-year-old striker has become complicated not just because of Inter being unwilling to drop below €90 million but because Barcelona management are hesitant to sign him whilst trying to get the players to agree to a salary reduction.

Barcelona have reached an agreement with Lautaro over personal terms and know that if they are to pull the plug on a move Lautaro is likely to take it very badly and renegotiating after July would be difficult.

Moreover, Aguilar goes on to claim that Barcelona are seriously thinking about whether Lautaro is truly worth the €90 million Inter want for him. The Catalan based club do not have money and have yet to sell any players to raise funds either.

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has reached an agreement over personal terms with Premier League club Chelsea according to a report from the online edition of German news outlet BILD.

The 24-year-old German national team forward has agreed a five year contract with the London based club which comes with an annual salary of no less than €10 million a year.

RB Leipzig’s performance in the Bundesliga will determine how much Werner will go for. He has a variable release clause in his contract which will be €60 million if they win the Bundesliga or €50 million if they do not win it.

Liverpool and Inter have both been heavily linked with making moves for the former Stuttgart player but will need to move quickly now if they wish to avoid losing out on him to Chelsea.

This season Werner has made 40 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 31 goals and provided 12 assists for his teammates.

Christian Eriksen is in the running to be included in the Inter starting line-up according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Dane has greatly impressed and convinced Inter manager Antonio Conte during training in recent weeks so much so that Conte has him in the starting eleven in training exercises.

The previous gap between himself and his teammates has now been closed and he is now ready to prove his worth out on the pitch after a below expectations start to life in the Nerazzurri shirt.

The report goes on to suggest that Inter manager Antonio Conte may even switch to a 3-4-1-2 system to allow Eriksen to play in his natural role as an attacking midfielder in behind strikers Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

It also goes on to highlight that his slow start at Inter is not the first slow start he has had in his career as it happened at both Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur too and after being given some time he performed to his best.

San Lorenzo’s Director Norberto Mañas has confirmed that the club are yet to receive any formal offers for highly rated striker Adolfo Gaich.

The Argentine youth national team forward has drawn links with a number of clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window with Inter, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona among the interested sides.

San Lorenzo director Diego Delledonne confirmed that it is the Superliga Argentina club’s intention to sell the 21-year-old in the coming months but as things stand, no offers have arrived for the player who has a $15 million release clause.

“Officially, we have not received any formal proposal for Gaich. We know there is interest, but no offer has arrived,” Mañas remarked in an interview with Argentine radio station Radio a la Calle earlier on today.

Gaich, who has a contract with San Lorenzo until the end of next season, has made 13 appearances across all competitions to date this term.

During his time on the park which totals just shy of 700 minutes, he has scored five goals and has provided a single assists for his teammates.

The conditions of Inter quartet Matias Vecino, Alessandro Bastoni, Stefan de Vrij and Diego Godin are to be evaluated ahead of Inter’s Coppa Italia semi final second leg against Napoli according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Vecino has picked up a knee problem and has decided against undergoing surgery to correct the issue whilst the other three are not in the best of conditions ahead of the match which will be played at the Stadio San Paolo in just over a week’s time.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to report that Danilo D’Ambrosio, who had also suffered a slight injury recently, has now fully recovered.

The Italian national team full back will be available for the match against the Partneopei, who come into it with a 1-0 lead from the first leg, which was played back in February.
