Arsenal & Valencia Join Everton In Being Interested In Inter’s Matias Vecino

The list of potential suitors for Inter midfielder Matias Vecino has grown with both Arsenal and Valencia showing an interest in signing him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Uruguayan national team midfielder is expected to be offloaded by Inter in the coming months alongside Borja Valero, who will not have his contract with the club extended.

Vecino came close to bidding farewell to the Nerazzurri in the most recent January transfer window when Napoli, AC Milan and Everton all showed an interest in signing him.

Everton remain interested in signing the former Fiorentina midfielder and now face competition from Arsenal and Valencia for his signature.

He has a balance of €10 million against Inter’s books and the club value him in the region of €20-25 million meaning there is a potential capital gain of €10-15 million.

This season Vecino has made 23 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and tallied one assist.

Inter Could Have 7 Midfielders In Squad Next Season With Arrival Of Sandro Tonali & Return Of Radja Nainggolan

Inter manager Antonio Conte and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta want a midfield department full of players capable of starting according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper.

The duo want the midfield to consist of seven players. Christian Eriksen, Nicolo Barella, Stefano Sensi and Marcelo Brozovic are as good as guaranteed to take up four of the seven slots.

Inter wish to bring in Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, who not only fits the bill when it comes to Inter wanting to become more Italian but he is also a player not just for now but for the long term future too.

The sixth man in the midfield could be Radja Nainggolan. Nainggolan was judged to be out of the club’s project last Summer but with him having similar characteristics to Inter target Arturo Vidal, Inter could save money by just reintegrating him instead.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to add that Inter’s midfield department will be completed by Roberto Gagliardini.

Inter To Make A Move For One Of Arsenal Duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang & Alexandre Lacazette If PSG’s Edinso n Cavani Doesn’t Lower Wage Demands

Inter have identified two players they could potentially move for in the event that primary target Edinson Cavani does not agree to lower his wage demands according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter see Cavani as the ideal replacement for Lautaro Martinez should he depart the club but his current salary is an issue.

Cavani is well aware the only chance of him being able to earn the same if not more is by moving to one of the Arab based clubs interested in him but he ultimately wishes to continue playing his football in Europe for a few more years yet.

If the Uruguayan national team striker, whose Paris Saint-Germain contract is up at the end of this month, does not agree to lower his demands then Inter will shift their attention elsewhere.

The report from the Turin newspaper goes on to explain that Inter could move for one of Arsenal duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette.

Aubameyang’s future with the club is currently up in the air with his contract set to expire at the end of next season whilst Inter could offer Matias Vecino or Ivan Perisic – if Bayern Munich don’t buy him – in an exchange deal for Lacazette, who could be interested in trying something new.

Inter Owned Midfielder Radja Nainggolan: “There Is More To Life Than Football, I Know That Better Than Anyone Else”

In an interview with Belgian news outlet Het Laatste Nieuws, Inter owned midfielder Radja Nainggolan has shared his disappointment that his mother, who died in 2010, never got to see him perform on the international stage or meet his daughters.

“The worst part is that she never saw me play football with the Belgian national team. She would have been very proud of me. She didn’t get to meet my two daughters either,” he explained.

“I often tell Aysha about my mother. I want her to know who she was and what she meant to me. She was only 55 when she died. She was so young. Anyway, c’est la vie, right? It’s something you just have to deal with.”

He then spoke on his father abandoning his family.

“He returned to Indonesia without leaving an address. What he left behind was a mountain of debt, which got us into trouble. I was too angry to go find him. I’ve never missed him.”

Nainggolan proceeded to recall his actions when he was offered €1400 a month by Piacenza, who were in Serie B at the time.

“That was tons of money for me. Now it doesn’t sound like much, but when I got that contract, I immediately said that I was leaving Belgium as I wanted to help my family. I gave to them what I could afford.

“At the beginning I was very homesick and after six months I wanted to return home but my older brother told me, ‘If you dare come back, I’ll break your legs.’”

Nainggolan then reflected on his career as a whole.

“I think I have had a fantastic journey. I am proud of myself because I did it in small steps and with a lot of hard work.

“I was never a child prodigy and I wasn’t appreciated much or one of those you had to keep an eye on. I never played for Standard Liege or Anderlecht and instead I took a different path to footballers who were great talents from an early age.

“I learned a lot from the path I’ve been on, there is more to life than football, I know that better than anyone else.”

Nainggolan joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 from fellow Serie A side Roma. He has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date for the club, in which he has scored seven goals and tallied three assists.

This past Summer he was judged to be out of Inter’s project by club management and was subsequently sent out on loan to Cagliari, where he has scored five goals and tallied six assists in 24 appearances.

Massimo Cellino On Inter Owned Nainggolan: “I Think He’ll Go Back To Roma Because It’s His Dream To Return”

Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino has shared his belief that Radja Nainggolan could return to Roma in the upcoming transfer window.

Nainggolan is currently out on loan at Cagliari from Inter and is facing an uncertain future but Cellino, who took Nainggolan to Cagliari first time round, thinks that the former Belgian national team midfielder could be headed back to the Italian capital city, where he was at his best.

“It is difficult not to love him, the last time that we saw each other he embraced me tightly,” Cellino remarked as part of an interview with Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport which appeared in today’s print edition.

“In my opinion he will go back to Roma, it is his dream, he was struck by the city, by the environment. Radja is capable of giving you everything.”

32-year-old Nainggolan, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date this term for Cagliari. In just shy of 2000 minutes on the park, he has scored five goals and has tallied six assists.

Since joining Inter in the Summer of 2018 from Roma, he has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and tallied three assists.

Massimo Morratti: “Sandro Tonali Is A Good Midfielder, You Can’t Hold Lautaro Martinez Back If He Wants To Leave”

Former Inter president and owner Massimo Moratti has shared his belief that Inter are in good hands with current owners Suning.

Suning purchased the club in the Summer of 2016 from Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir and as part of their takeover they also snapped up Moratti’s remaining shares in the club.

“Here everything has been ruined by the current situation, but I believe that both Suning’s will and potential remain solid and the I hope that Inter will have a good future,” Moratti remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired yesterday afternoon.

Moratti then went on to discuss the ongoing speculation with regard to Brescia’s Sandro Tonali possibly moving to Inter in the coming months.

“Right now maybe we have to see how Eriksen does, but Tonali is a great midfielder. Inter will also certainly need someone on the wings.”

Next he spoke on Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be linked with a move to La Liga powerhouses Barcelona.

“You cannot hold someone back, who has the idea of expressing themselves elsewhere.”

Moratti purchased a majority stake in Inter from Ernesto Pellegrini back in 1995 and was the club’s majority shareholder up until 2013 when Thohir came onto the scene.

Moratti invested hundreds of million into the club during his time in charge and was at the helm when the club achieved arguably its greatest achievement, the treble in the 2009/10 season.
