Inter are slightly ahead of other interested clubs in the race to sign Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The Nerazzurri club are ahead of arch rivals Juventus as well as La Liga powerhouses Barcelona in the race for the 20-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best Italian prospects out there at the moment.

The report goes on to explain that Tonali will probably remain in Italy, which will no doubt come as a boost to Inter and Juventus’ hopes of signing him.

Recent reports in the media have suggested that Inter have already reached an agreement in principle over personal terms with Tonali on the basis of a four year contract. It now remains to be seen whether Inter can strike a deal with Brescia for him.

This season Tonali has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided five assists for his teammates.

Inter are set to extend the contract of highly rated young midfielder Lucien Agoume according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Agoume joined Inter this past Summer from French side FC Sochaux and having turned 18-years-old in the past few months he is now eligible to sign a professional contract with the club.

The Cameroonian born French youth national team player has a youth contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 campaign but this report claims that he will sign a four year professional contract with the club and he could put pen to paper on the contract during this week.

Upon joining Inter, Agoume trained with the first team and played for them during pre-season too. The youngster, who has often been likened to Paul Pogba, was also handed his competitive first team debut as he made a six minute cameo appearance against Fiorentina earlier on this season.

Inter will use some of the funds earned through the sale of Mauro Icardi and other sales to fund a move for highly rated Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter are in pole position to bring the 20-year-old in and will use money from Icardi’s sale plus the sales of the likes of Matteo Politano, Yann Karamoh and Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa among others to fund his purchase.

The Nerazzurri wish to sign Tonali as part of their bid to make Inter more Italian and because he could potentially be a starter for the club for the next 10 years, if not more.

Inter will also use some of the money raised through the sales to buy Stefano Sensi outright and pay the second instalment of cash they are due Cagliari for Nicolo Barella.

The report goes on to explain that Inter may also keep a hold of Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Conte will have him play the role that he envisaged for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal.

Barcelona have denied the possibility of using an investment fund to help fund a move for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

A report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica suggested that Barcelona could rely upon an investment fund to help them carry out their transfer market business in the coming months but Barcelona sources have rubbished the claims made in the Rome based newspaper and branded the claims as lies.

The report goes on to explain that Barcelona intend to wait until the end of July to do a deal for Lautaro as by then his €111 million release clause will have expired.

The Blaugrana club want to do a deal on a players plus cash basis and pay as little cash as possible but this is contrary to what Inter want as the Nerazzurri reportedly want at least €90 million if Barcelona want to do a player plus cash deal.

This season the 22-year-old has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.

Inter are prepared to make a players plus cash offer for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The 20-year-old is one of Inter’s top transfer targets ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window and having reached an agreement in principle over a four year contract, Inter must now try and strike a deal with La Rondinelle for the Italian national team player.

As per the report, Inter are prepared to offer a cash sum plus €20 million rated Andrea Pinamonti on a permanent basis and teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito on loan for the duration of the 2020/21 season.

Tonali is widely regarded as one of the best young Italian players out there at the moment and Brescia’s president and owner Massimo Cellino has recently confirmed the player prefers the idea of a move to Inter or Juventus to a move abroad.

Inter could be less rigid in talks with Barcelona over the transfer of Lautaro Martinez following the sale of Mauro Icardi according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Inter sold their former club captain to Paris Saint-Germain yesterday in a deal worth an initial €50 million and Mundo Deportivo believe that this could mean that Inter perhaps drop their demands for Lautaro.

Lautaro has a €111 million release clause in his current contract with Inter and Inter have made it very clear to Barcelona that activating that will be the only way that they will be able to acquire the highly rated 22-year-old Argentine national team striker.

Lautaro, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, is in his second campaign with the club and this season has been his first as a regular starter, an opportunity he has grasped with both hands.

In 31 appearances across all competitions to date, he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Inter will be entitled to a sum of €15 million from Paris Saint-Germain if they are to sell Mauro Icardi to another Italian club in the future according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri dealt the 27-year-old Argentine to the recently crowned Ligue 1 champions yesterday in a deal worth an initial €50 million plus €8 million in add-ons.

During negotiations between the clubs Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta insisted upon the insertion of the above clause due to the fact Inter’s arch rivals Juventus have been heavily linked with making a move for him for some time now.

Reports in the media have suggested Juventus could try and do a swap deal with Paris Saint-Germain but this report goes on to explain that Paris Saint-Germain will hardly deal Icardi away so soon after acquiring him.

Icardi spent seven years with Inter and during his time on the club’s books he made 219 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 124 goals.
