Christian Eriksen has got on board with an initiative by Fodboldfonden in collaboration with auction house Bruun Rasmussen to help out underprivileged kids in his native Denmark according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Eriksen has agreed to hold an exclusive half-hour training session with him on June 2 and the auction is already underway on the auction site.

The Danish national team player has also got Inter teammate Romelu Lukaku involved with the Belgian agreeing to auction off the shirt he wore in Inter’s 2-2 draw with Parma.

Eriksen joined Inter in the most recent January transfer window in a circa €20 million deal from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur but he has left a lot to be desired with his performances so far.

In eight appearances across all competitions to date since his arrival, the 28-year-old former Ajax midfielder has contributed just a single goal and single assist

Panathinaikos’ Georgios Vagiannidis has already rejected a contract offer from fellow Greek Super League side Olympiacos according to a report from Greek news outlet NewsPao.Gr.

A report in the media earlier on today suggested that the highly rated 18-year-old has already rejected Manchester City, LASK Linz, AS Monaco and PAOK Thessaloniki and Olympiacos are the latest club who the full back has knocked back.

Vagiannidis has knocked back the five clubs due to having his sights set on a move to Inter. Reports in the media have suggested that Inter have offered the youngster a long term contract and they will pay Panathinaikos a FIFA determined compensation amount of around €400,000.

Vagiannidis appears set to join Inter and he will initially be part of Antonio Conte’s squad but in all probability he will be loaned out to another Serie A club for his first season to help him get used to Italian football and to play regular.

Legendary Italian football manager Fabio Capello is convinced that Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali would be a good signing for anyone to make in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

The recently turned 20-year-old midfielder is widely regarded as being one of the most promising young Italian players out there at the moment and there has been no shortage of interest shown in him from clubs.

Inter and their arch rivals Juventus are especially interested in signing Tonali, who has often been likened to legendary World Cup winning Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

Tonali has also been linked with moves to the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona but it is understood that he would like to remain in Italy.

“He has great qualities, he is young and is in the process of maturing. Whoever buys him, as I said for Barella and Sensi, will make a good signing,” Capello remarked in an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio yetserday afternoon local time.

This season Tonali has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date. In just over 2100 minutes on the pitch, Tonali has scored one goal and provided five assists.

Inter have taken to social media platform Twitter to recall Maicon’s thunderous strike in Inter’s 4-2 Derby della Madonnina win over AC Milan back in May 2012.

The former Brazilian national team full back joined Inter in the Summer of 2006 from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco and spent six years with the club before moving on to Premier League club Manchester City.

During his time with the club, Maicon made 249 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored 20 goals and tallied 50 assists.

Inter have taken to social media platform Twitter to recall former defender Ivan Cordoba’s final game for the club back in 2012.

The former Colombian national team central defender joined Inter in the Summer of 2000 from Superliga Argentina side San Lorenzo.

In his 12 years on Inter’s books he made no less than 454 appearances across all competitions in which he scored 19 goals and provided five assists.

He won 14 trophies in his time with Inter, including five Serie A titles and one Champions League.

Inter have taken to social media platform to recall the club’s 1988/89 Serie A title win, which was their 13th Serie A title in their history.

Inter won the title by a margin of 11 points in the end over second placed Napoli as they picked up 58 points from 34 games, 26 of which they won. They drew six of the other eight fixtures.

Inter striker Aldo Serena was the Serie A top goalscorer that season as he netted a total of 22 goals for the Nerazzurri.

Inter have taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to document Dejan Stankovic’s time with the club with a series of images.

Stankovic joined Inter in the Summer of 2004 from fellow Serie A side Lazio and spent the next nine years on the Nerazzurri’s books before retiring at the end of the 2012/13 season.

During his time with the club, Stankovic made 326 appearances across all competitions in which he scored 42 goals and provided 51 assists for his teammates.
