Italian Media Reports Inter Could Resign Both Zinho Vanheusden & Andrea Pinamonti

Inter could look to re-sign several both defender Zinho Vanheusden as well as striker Andrea Pinamonti, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Many clubs are interested in the 20-year-old Belgian Vanheusden, who has impressed this season playing for Standard Liege. His relationship with the club has collapsed after his refusal to accept a pay cut, which was introduced to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The club essentially ‘fired him’ alongside five other players. Many clubs are interested in Vanheusden, including Inter who sold him last summer for €12 million and are hoping they can buy him back for €15 million.

In regard to Pinamonti, the report continues, the Nerazzurri have the right to match any other offers received for the player, giving them a strong advantage. They also have a right of first refusal. The player could earn his way into coach Antonio Conte’s squad, but it would take patience and hard work.

Caner Erkin: “Jonathan Biabiany Is Right When Saying That Frank De Boer Is The Worst Coach In Inter’s History”

Former Inter left back Caner Erkin discussed what happened during his time at Inter and why he left so suddenly in an interview with Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

First, he discussed how he felt when he was signed by Inter and why he chose the Nerazzurri compared to other clubs.

“I thought I was taking a big step by going to Inter. My goal was to play regularly, win trophies and enjoy the admiration of the Inter fans.

“Even when Mancini left, I didn’t want to leave Inter. But Frank de Boer’s attitude towards me was not at all pleasant. He left me out as if I was a player fresh out of the youth team. And that was not acceptable.”

The 31-year-old Turk discussed what he spoke about with Roberto Mancini and how important he was in the player’s decision to join the club.

“He wanted me as a left winger. That’s why he gave me a chance to play in all the pre-season games. He put a lot of faith in me, I was very sad when he left. In football anything can happen. But the treatment I received from De Boer was totally disrespectful and very rude.”

He spoke about how he felt during the weeks he spent with the Milanese club in the pre-season training camp.

“I was very proud to be part of that team. We were very appreciated wherever we went, even the training camp was particularly special. Frankly, I was really happy.”

The Besiktas left back touched on former Inter coach Frank De Boer.

“I’ve never understood why De Boer showed such an attitude towards me. I’ve never been in his plans since the day he set foot in Italy. He left me out in the last game of the pre-season and, after he did, in the drills of the following training sessions.

“I had to train individually, separate from the team, with a personal coach. Basically, he was using a manipulative tactic to make me feel unloved. His attitude totally changed my football career. I can’t find any explanation for it.”

Erkin commented on how many in the club felt that De Boer wouldn’t last too long in the job due to his attitude.

“Of course, everyone knew what kind of person De Boer was. That’s why I still can’t understand how he signed for a club like Inter. At any event anyone could realize that his attitude didn’t fit the Nerazzurri. After what he did to me, I couldn’t have a good opinion of him. And obviously I never will.”

He agreed with the sentiment of Jonathan Biabiany, who said that De Boer was the worst coach in Inter history.

“I absolutely agree with him, he’s right.”

Finally, Erkin discussed his regrets at never playing for Inter and how he wishes it had been different.

“What I went through at Inter has turned into a bad personal experience. Who knows, I could still play there one day. It’s a shame because I really had huge dreams and because of a coach who stayed only 2 and a half months, these dreams were shattered.

“There’s nothing you can do. It’s not the end of the world. I want my career to continue at the highest level and I send to all the supporters of Inter love and respect.”

Spanish Media Report Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal Wont Be Used As Part Payment For Inter’s Lautaro Martin ez

Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal will not be included in the deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, according to a report from Spanish news outlet Sport.

The report details how Inter’s interest in the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder has cooled off significantly in recent months, despite coach Antonio Conte’s insistence. The Nerazzurri never wanted Vidal to be included in the deal for the 22-year-old Lautaro, in part due to an overabundance of midfielders and because the Catalan side are likely to value Vidal higher than Inter.

The player has also expressed his willingness to stay in Spain with Barcelona until the end of next season, when his contract expires. The Milanese club are looking for a young midfielder, the report continues, with the top name being Sandro Tonali, who is also wanted by Juventus.

Vidal has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1414 minutes. In that time, he has scored six goals and provided three assists.

Inter Could Ask Barcelona For Joao Cancelo In Lautaro Martinez Negotiations If Man City Accept Nelson Semedo Swap

Inter could look to sign Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo should he join Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

The report details how the 25-year-old Portuguese right back could be sent to the Blaugrana in exchange for compatriot Nelson Semedo.

The Citizens aren’t keen on how offensively minded Cancelo is defensively and would prefer a player who can guarantee defensive stability. If the deal should go through, Inter could look to include Cancelo in the Lautaro Martinez talks.

Barcelona are incredibly keen to sign Lautaro, the report continues, and are looking to include multiple players in the deal for the 22-year-old Argentine striker.

Inter’s interest in Cancelo may push the Catalan club to consider working hard on the swap deal now to help in the fight for Lautaro.

Cancelo has made 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1735 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist.

Inter & Juventus Main Contenders To Sign Sandro Tonali Despite Interest From AC Milan, PSG & Barcelona

Inter and Juventus are the main contenders to sign Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali despite interest from AC Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how neither the Nerazzurri nor Bianconeri want to pay the requested €50 million, and instead would prefer to pay €30-35 million and may look to include players in the deal to lower the overall cost.

One Inter player that Brescia like is 20-year-old Belgian midfielder Xian Emmers. Talks between the two clubs are ongoing and the Nerazzurri believe that Tonali would be the perfect player for coach Antonio Conte’s project.

Tonali will have to fight for a spot with the Nerazzurri should he sign, the report continues, considering the number of midfielders currently playing for the Nerazzurri, with players like Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Christian Eriksen, Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino.

However, several reports across Italy have suggested that Vecino and Gagliardini could be on their way out to make way for the youngster.
