Inter and Atletico Madrid are very keen on signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to a report from Italian media outlet PassioneInter.com earlier today.

The report details how the Spanish club have been looking to sign the 33-year-old Uruguayan striker for some time now. Diego Simeone’s team have been talking to the player for months now but no final decision has been made yet by the former Napoli and Palermo striker.

Inter have prepared a three-year contract for Cavani, the report continues, and have heated up their interest in the player when it became likely that Lautaro Martinez would be sold to Barcelona in the summer.

Napoli is also interested, the report continues, but may not be able to meet his high demands. Other clubs around the world are also interested, like Boca Juniors and teams in both Japan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the United States. Several top European clubs are interested in signing Inter target Marash Kumbulla, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Verona based newspaper Corriere di Verona.

The report details how Inter, Lazio and Napoli in Italy are interested in signing the 20-year-old Albanian defender, but now are facing competition from other clubs across the continent.

Neither Inter nor Juventus are particularly keen on signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal in the summer, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com today.

The report details how Juventus are trying to rejuvenate their midfield in the summer and have no interest in signing the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder, who will turn 34 next season. The Bianconeri are looking for younger talents to build a future project, like Sandro Tonali or Federico Chiesa.

Inter, on the other hand, did want Vidal at all costs in January, the report continues. The club changed their mind after signing Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen in the January transfer window, and now that Stefano Sensi will also be purchased by Inter in the summer, they are only interested in signing the 33-year-old on certain conditions.

The Nerazzurri would only sign Vidal if the deal was both convenient and advantageous from a financial point of view. Inter’s preferred target for the midfield is Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, who is also wanted by the Turin based club.

Inter linked Lorenzo Pellegrini will be the centre of Roma’s future project and will not be sold by the Giallorossi in the summer, according to a report from today’s print edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter and Barcelona have agreed to include Junior Firpo in the deal for Lautaro Martinez and are now considering including Samuel Umtiti as the second player, although on one condition, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter and Juventus are still hot on the trails of Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa but his high price tag continues to be a problem for both clubs, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com.

Inter stand to make a huge profit in terms of capital gains but the club remain annoyed that it could have been even higher still, especially considering that once he could have been sold for €110 million, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
