Inter Tell Fiorentina They’ll Accept Loaning Out Radja Nainggolan But Only With €20M Mandatory Option To Buy

Inter have outlined their demands for midfielder Radja Nainggolan to Fiorentina according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian newspaper La Nazione.

Nainggolan is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A side Cagliari and if he does not remain with them then Fiorentina are his most likely destination.

Inter have told La Viola’s management that they would be willing to accept a fee to pay for a season long loan deal but only with a forced option to buy set at €20 million.

The Belgian midfielder joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 but after just a season with the club he was judged to be out of the club’s project alongside other key players Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi.

Whilst a departure this Summer looks likely, some reports have even suggested that there is a slight chance that Nainggolan could be reintegrated into the team.

This season the former Roma player has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored five goals and tallied six assists.

Italian Journalist Pedullá Claims Inter & Chelsea Target Dries Mertens On Verge Of Extending Contract With Napoli

Dries Mertens is very close to signing a contract renewal with Napoli according to a report from Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

As per the report posted on Pedulla’s eponymous named website, despite receiving a very concrete offer to join Inter on a free transfer this Summer, Mertens now instead looks set to extend his stay at the Stadio San Paolo club, who he has been with since the Summer of 2013.

Mertens desire to stay in Naples, where he is loved as a true idol by the fans, is understood to have made the difference and Pedulla goes on to add that Napoli have slightly upped their most recent contract extension offer for him which consisted of €4 million a season, €500,000 in bonuses and a signing on bonus.

The Belgian national team attacker has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date this season, in which he has scored 12 goals and provided six assists for his teammates.

Napoli Identify Inter Linked Everton Striker Moise Kean As Potential Replacement For Dries Mertens

Napoli have identified Everton’s Moise Kean as a player they could bring in to replace Dries Mertens according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Mertens contract is due to expire at the end of next month and Napoli have offered him a contract extension but having grown tired of waiting for him to decide his future they have given him a seven day deadline.

The Stadio San Paolo club are interested in former Juventus forward Kean, who has struggled in his first season in the Premier League and could well do a swap deal with the Toffees who like Napoli duo Allan and Hirving Lozano.

Napoli are the latest club to have come into links with Kean, who has also been linked with moves to both Inter and Roma in recent weeks.

The 20-year-old has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored one goal and tallied two assists.

Inter Not Interested In Bringing Barcelona Midfielder Rafinha Alcantara Back To Club

Contrary to reports elsewhere, Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Nicolo Schira has confirmed that Inter are not interested in signing Rafinha.

Reports in the media have suggested that Inter are one of a few Italian clubs to have developed an interest in signing the Brazilian midfielder, given he will soon have a €16 million release clause in his contract with Barcelona.

Other reports have also suggested that Barcelona could include him in a deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez but Schira has claimed Inter are not interested as Inter manager Antonio Conte does not see Rafinha in his plans.

The 27-year-old, who spent the second half of the 2017/18 season out on loan at Inter, is currently out on loan at Celta Vigo.

This season Rafinha has made 23 appearances across all competitions to date and in 1683 minutes on the park he has scored two goals and provided two assists for his teammates.

Inter Deem Milan Skriniar Not For Sale Amid Interest From Real Madrid, Barcelona & Man Utd

Inter deem Milan Skriniar to be indispensable and will only allow him to leave if truly irrefusable offers arrive for him according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The Slovakian national team player has drawn links to both Real Madrid and Barcelona in the past few days and has also been linked with Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United recently.

Inter do not want to let the 25-year-old central defender depart the club and the report goes on to claim that offers that the Nerazzurri would maybe consider letting him go for are unlikely to arrive given the Coronavirus crisis and its impact on football finances.

Skriniar joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 in a player plus cash deal from Sampdoria and has since went on to cement himself as one of the best defenders not only in Italy and Europe but the world.

This season he has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist.

CVC Capital Partners Willing To Partly Fund Construction Of New Stadiums In Italy As Part Of Serie A TV Rights Deal

Talks between CVC Capital Partners and Serie A have become more serious in recent weeks according to a report from the online edition of The Financial Times.

CVC Capital Partners are in exclusive talks with Serie A over a deal worth €2.2 billion which is designed to reshape the finances of Italy’s top flight.

CVC Capital Partners would like to acquire 20% of a new company that will manage Lega Serie A’s broadcasting rights from 2021 and the report claims that this is not all that CVC Capital Partners are after.

It goes on to add that the agreement includes the construction and maintenance of stadiums in Italy, which will be partly funded by CVC Capital Partners themselves and this could help Roma, Inter and AC Milan, all of whom are in the process of trying to build new stadiums.

CVC Capital Partners offer is set to be examined by Serie A’s board, which is headed by Lega Serie A president Paolo Dal Pino and also includes the presidents of Juventus, Napoli, Lazio and Atalanta.

Racing Club Youth Academy President Fernandez: “Lionel Messi Phoned Inter’s Lautaro & Wants Him At Barcelona”

Adrian Ruben Fernandez, the president of Racing Club’s youth academy, has claimed that Lionel Messi has been in contact with former player and current Inter striker Lautaro Martinez regarding a move to Barcelona.

In an interview with the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport, Fernandez firstly recalled Lautaro’s arrival at the club as a youngster.

“I will never forget it. It was November 2013 and there were trials. Fabio Radaelli and Alfredo Acosta saw him on one of the teams and called me immediately: ‘Adrian, there’s an extraordinary player, we have to sign him whatever.’

“I told them our 1997 generation was already full of top talents, that we didn’t have space, but Fabio insisted that we backed this kid, so we signed him. Lautaro came in January 2014 and lived at the academy for two or three years.

“He was a clever kid, focused and humble. He always knew he wanted to be a professional. He did everything possible to achieve it and never lost sight of his big objective.”

He then went on to confirm that Lautaro did indeed reject a move to Real Madrid when he was 18-years-old.

“He rejected an offer when he was with us from Real Madrid. We told him the most important thing at that stage was to continue with Racing, to make his debut and to spend some time in the Argentine league. Luckily he listened to us and made his debut in October 2015 when he was just 18, coming on for none other than Diego Milito.”

Next Fernandez spoke on comparisons that have been made between Lautaro and Manchester City and Argentina striker Sergio Aguero and tipped Lautaro to have a good career.

“He has the same qualities as Sergio Aguero. I think he’s on that path and will have a successful career like him. I would even say Lautaro is better in the air and much better with his left foot, but he will have to prove that with time. I hope he can.”

In conclusion he spoke on Messi contacting the 22-year-old, who, as per various reports, is one of Barcelona’s top transfer targets ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“Messi called him and wants him by his side soon, I have no doubt. For that reason, the deal to sign him is almost there. I know things will go well in Barcelona and that Lautaro will be an excellent replacement for Suarez.

“He’s the ideal heir. Thanks to Barça he will continue to grow as a player and a man.”

This season Lautaro, who has a contract with Inter until 2023, has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided a total of four assists for his teammates.

Roma Interested In Signing Inter Loanee Cristiano Biraghi From Fiorentina

Roma have developed an interest in signing Fiorentina owned full back Cristiano Biraghi ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian capital city club are looking to make changes to their full back department this Summer with only Aleksandar Kolarov and Davide Santon certain to stay with the club.

Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi will look to move the likes of Leonardo Spinazzola on and the club have seemingly identified Biraghi alongside Hellas Verona’s Davide Faraoni as players they could bring in.

Biraghi is currently out on loan at Inter from La Viola but it is as yet unclear whether Inter will pursue a permanent move for the 27-year-old.

A recent report in the media has suggested that Inter will only keep one of him or Victor Moses at the club past the end of this season.
