Inter Like AC Milan’s Franck Kessie But Currently Focused On Signing Brescia’s Sandro Tonali

Inter like AC Milan central midfielder Franck Kessie but he is not the first option being considered by Nerazzurri management to bolster the midfield according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Last Summer the two Milanese clubs held talks over a potential Kessie-Radja Nainggolan swap and more recently in the January transfer window they spoke about a possible swap of Kessie and Matias Vecino.

Vecino’s agents have re-proposed the idea to AC Milan in the past couple of days seeing as Inter are looking to offload their client in the upcoming transfer window.

Paolo Maldini likes Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini and has good relations with his agent but the fact Maldini is unlikely to be in the same position in the next few months means the idea of a Gagliardini and Kessie swap has not and is unlikely to take off.

The report concludes that Inter appreciate Kessie, who is rated at €35 million, but the Nerazzurri currently more focused on signing Brescia’s Sandro Tonali.

Inter Planning €30M Double Swoop For Chelsea Duo Emerson Palmieri & Olivier Giroud

Inter are plotting a combined bid to sign Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri and Olivier Giroud according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have set their sights on adding Emerson to their ranks in order to bolster their options at left wing-back whilst they have a long standing interest in signing Giroud.

Chelsea want between €25-30 million for the Brazilian born naturalised Italian, which is a more affordable price and a much more reasonable one than the €40 million that Chelsea demanded for Marcos Alonso.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are plotting a €30 million move to sign both Emerson and Giroud, who is in the final year of his contract with the Premier League side, who recently exercised an option to extend it.

Emerson has provided one assists in 19 appearances this term whilst Giroud has six goals in 18 games to date.

Inter Still Interested In Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla But Prioritizing Other Negotiations Right Now

Inter remain in the race to sign Hellas Verona central defender Marash Kumbulla according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Lazio currently seem to be in pole position to land the Albanian national team defender but Inter remain interested even if they know that a deal for him will be expensive and they are aiming to strengthen other areas of the team, namely left wing-back.

Having added Achraf Hakimi to bolster options at right wing-back in recent weeks, Inter are now targeting Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri for left wing-back.

Moreover, the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that it remains to be seen what happens with striker Lautaro Martinez, who has continually been linked with a potential move to Barcelona ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Regardless of whether he stays or goes, it is necessary for Inter to making additions to their attacking department.

Inter Coach Antonio Conte Dreams Of Being Reunited With Chelsea’s €70M Rated N’Golo Kante

Inter manager Antonio Conte dreams of being able to have Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante as part of his midfield department at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Conte was at the helm of Chelsea when Kante was signed from Leicester City and the former Italian national team boss would like to work with the diminutive Frenchman once again.

Signing him however will be far from easy with him valued at €70 million by the Premier League club and Spanish giants Real Madrid are also understood to be keen on signing him.

Napoli’s Allan and AC Milan’s Franck Kessie are both options and perhaps more realistic signings for Inter to make. Allan could cost between €35-40 million but Inter could offer Matias Vecino as part of a deal whilst Kessie could cost €25-30 million. Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal is another option under consideration.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that Inter remain interested in Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla but risk being caught up in a bidding war for his signature with Lazio also keen on him.

Inter Agree Terms With Chelsea Over Extending Victor Moses Loan Until August 31st

Inter have struck an agreement with Chelsea to further extend Victor Moses’ loan deal according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Moses joined Inter on a six month loan deal back in the January transfer window and the loan was recently extended until the end of the Serie A season, which ends at the start of next month.

A new agreement has been reached between the clubs which means Moses will be on loan at Inter until August 31 meaning he will be available to play for Inter in the Europa League. If Chelsea agree a deal to sell him before that date though he will leave Inter.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are continuing to work on keeping Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez joined on a season long loan and Inter would like to keep him for next season too but before that need to try and reach an agreement to extend the current loan until the end of August like Moses’.

Inter Could Postpone Genteleman’s Agreement With Genoa Over Pinamonti If Juventus Don’t Sign Him

Should Juventus not find an agreement with Genoa over Andrea Pinamonti, Inter could postpone their gentleman’s agreement with Genoa for a year according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter sold Pinamonti to Genoa and as part of the deal they came to a gentleman’s agreement which allows them to re-sign him for a sum of €21 million in the upcoming transfer window.

Inter currently have other priorities than Pinamonti and this could allow Juventus to sign the Italian youth national team forward, as they look to add a young striker to their ageing attacking department.

Pinamonti’s agent Mino Raiola is in discussions with Juventus who could sign Pinamonti and loan him back to Genoa for a season.

The report from the Rome based news outlet explains that if an agreement is not found between the Bianconeri and Rossoblu, Inter and Genoa could postpone the gentleman’s agreement to the Summer of 2021.

Sandro Tonali Is Inter’s Top Priority & Are In Frequent Contact With His Agent

Inter’s current top priority on the transfer market is Brescia’s Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The highly rated young midfielder’s agent is in frequent contact with Inter over a move and Tonali is convinced that a move to Inter is the best option for him, more so than Juventus.

Inter have offered €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons but Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino would like at least €10-15 million more than that.

The strong relationship that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has with Cellino could help in an agreement being reached, certainly with regard to the transfer formula, which could be a fee paying loan with obligation to buy.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to add that Inter are convinced that Juventus will not swoop in and steal Tonali like they did with Dejan Kulusevski back in the January transfer window.

Inter Edging Closer To Starting Talks With Chelsea Over Emerson Palmieri

Inter are getting closer to starting negotiations with Chelsea over wing-back Emerson Palmieri according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter already have an agreement with the player himself and Inter are waiting for the right moment to begin talks with Chelsea over him.

The Brazil born naturalised Italian full back has found himself largely out of favour at Chelsea during this campaign and it is understood that he could cost Inter between €20-25 million.

Given Emerson has given his blessing to Inter over a move, the Nerazzurri club are not thinking about anyone else other than him to bolster the left wing back department.

The former Santos player has been with his current employers since January 2018 and has a contract with them through to the end of the 2021/22 season.

This season he has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist for his teammates.

Man Utd Reluctant To Extend Alexis Sanchez Loan At Inter Preferring A Permanent Transfer

Manchester United are unwilling to agree to a new loan deal for Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean national team forward joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer and the loan was recently extended until the end of the Serie A season, which is ending later due to the Coronavirus crisis.

Inter are keen on keeping Sanchez with the club past the end of the season but this report warns that Manchester United do not want to loan out the former Barcelona and Arsenal star again and want to get rid of him on a permanent basis.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that Sanchez’s €12 million a year wages represent a major obstacle in United’s bid to get rid of Sanchez, who has two goals and six assists in 21 appearances for Inter.

Former Football’s Next Star Contestant Gavin Colton: “Unique Experience At Inter”

Former ‘Football’s Next Star’ contestant Gavin Colton has reminisced about his time on the show which gave him the chance to try and win a contract at Inter a decade ago.

The Irish defender made it into the final five of the show, which was won by Ben Greenhalgh, who was handed a six month professional contract with Inter.

“It was just after they won the Champions League and we had this chance. At the time, you don’t even know what you’re in. I realise more and more the older I get what a unique experience it was,” he remarked in an interview with the online edition of The Irish Mirror.

“The sort of people I got to meet, heroes really. I remember I had the cleanest room where all of our beds were and the prize for that was dinner with Luis Figo. When on earth would I have ever gotten the chance to have dinner with Luis Figo?”

Colton, who is now 26-years-old and studying for a masters degree in the United States, then spoke on what then Inter manager Jose Mourinho was like.

“He’s everything you’d think he was, although he was actually much nicer in person, I found.”

He then recalled the first team that he and his fellow contestants went to watch the Inter first team train.

“The first time we went to go and watch the first team train, I didn’t know if we’d be coming back so I brought my boots with me. All of the lads were throwing on their best gear and I had a pair of Umbros on me and a full training kit in my bag.

“I met one of the assistants and I don’t know who he was or how good his English was, but I just held up my boots and said, ‘I’m ready to go’.

“I saw him go over to Mourinho and about 10 minutes later I get a whistle, the first thing we’re doing is one-on-ones and I’m against Sammy Eto’o.

“I was gutted, you just get absolutely roasted, but what an experience.”

Upon failing to earn a contract with Inter, he had a spell with UCD Dublin in the top flight in the Republic of Ireland but swapped that for a soccer scholarship in the United States.
