Italian Media Report Inter Make Offer Worth €30M To Chelsea For Emerson Palmieri

Inter have submitted an offer to Chelsea for Italian international wing-back Emerson Palmieri according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

As per the report, Inter have tabled a €25 million plus €5 million in add-ons offer for the Brazilian born naturalised Italian full back.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has been demanding €30 million for the 25-year-old defender but the feeling is that a deal can be struck on the above basis.

Emerson currently earns €3 million a year at Chelsea and Inter, thanks to the Italian tax laws, have been able to offer him a five year contract with an improved annual salary of €4 million.

Emerson came through the ranks at Brazilian giants Santos and prior to joining Roma on a permanent basis, he had a loan spell with Palermo. He has been with Chelsea since January 2018 and is contracted to the Premier League outfit until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Inter Want To Earn €25M A Year From New Main Shirt Sponsor – Doubling Pirelli Deal Annually

Inter want more than double what they get from current main shirt sponsors Pirelli from a new sponsor according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Pirelli have been Inter’s main shirt sponsor since 1995 and are about to enter into their final season as the club’s main shirt sponsor.

Pirelli give Inter a sum of €12 million a year and Inter’s management hope to be able to get between €25-30 million from a new sponsor in a bid to help bridge the gap between themselves and other top clubs in Europe.

As things stand, the new main shirt sponsor is most likely going to come from Inter’s owners Suning’s native China with Evergrande and Samsung both seemingly in the running.

Since Suning took charge of the club they have brought several new sponsors to the club and it now remains to be seen if they can do it once again with a new main shirt sponsor.

Barcelona President Bartmeu On Inter’s Lautaro Martinez: “Will Talk About Him At The End Of The Season”

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed that the club will talk about Inter striker Lautaro Martinez at the end of the season.

The Blaugrana club have been heavily linked with a move for the 22-year-old Inter and Argentina national team striker and appear set to put their pursuit of him on hold for the time being.

They have been courting him for a considerable amount of time but have never come close to meeting Inter’s demands for him with the offers that they have reportedly made.

Lautaro’s €111 million release clause is due to expire today and it remains to be seen what will happen after that as Inter could easily demand in excess of that amount.

“We will talk about him at the end of the season, for now we think about the league. The same goes for Neymar, but it is unlikely that his arrival will occur, given the economic situation of the clubs in Europe,” he explained in an interview with Catalan radio station RAC 1 earlier on today.

Bartomeu also confirmed that Lionel Messi, who has drawn links to Inter in recent months, will remain with the club.

“He will stay here, he has a contract until 2021 but we have an obligation to renew it. He has said he wants to end his career here.”

Spanish Media Claims Barcelona Remain Optimistic About Prospect Of Signing Inter’s Lautaro Martinez

Barcelona are optimistic that they will be able to sign Lautaro Martinez by the beginning of August according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport.

The Spanish giants have been after the 22-year-old striker for some time now and although his €111 million release clause will expire in under 12 hours time, they remain optimistic.

When the release clause expires, Inter will set a new asking price for the Argentine and whilst they could ask for more, they could ask for less given the current situation in the world.

Lautaro already has an agreement in place with Barcelona regarding personal terms and all that remains is for the two clubs to strike a deal over him.

The player has told Inter that he only has an interest in Barcelona and does not want them to negotiate with anyone else therefore he will either stay at Inter or end up at the Camp Nou.

The report from Sport goes on to conclude that on top of cash Barcelona are prepared to offer Junior Firpo as part of a deal and it is understood that Inter like the young full back.

Barcelona To Try Again To Sign Inter Striker Lautaro Martinez After End Of La Liga Season

Barcelona will make a fresh move for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez at the end of the La Liga season according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The 22-year-old’s €111 million release clause is due to expire today and Barcelona have made it clear to Inter that they have no intention of paying the clause.

Barcelona have already agreed a five year contract with the player that comes with an annual salary of €12 million and remain confident about getting a deal done, even if Inter intend to try and sign him to a contract renewal which would see him earn approximately half of what Barcelona are offering.

With those conditions, it would be difficult for Inter to demand that his €111 million release clause is eliminated from the contract but the report claims that should Inter offer €7.5 million a year plus add-ons to take it to €9 million a year, things could be different.

Italian Media Claim Atalanta Interested In Signing Inter Wing-Back Antonio Candreva

Atalanta are very interested in signing Inter wing back Antonio Candreva according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The report explains that the Bergamo based club have already made an enquiry about the former Lazio player and a deal looks like it would be very complicated, especially due to Candreva’s annual salary of about €3 million.

Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini and Atalanta technical director Giovanni Sartori are both extremely keen on signing Candreva, who, as per the report, hopes to be able to end his career at Inter.

A report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it adds that so far there has been no contact between Inter and Atalanta and Candreva is expected to sign a contract extension with Inter until 2022.

This season Candreva has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he has scored five goals and provided eight assists for his teammates.

French Media Claims Inter’s €80M Bid For Napoli Target Victor Osimhen Falls Short

The chances of things falling in Inter’s favour when it comes to Victor Osimhen are minimal according to a report from the online edition of French news outlet Le10Sport.

Inter have been linked with signing the Lille and Nigeria striker but look set to miss out on him to fellow Serie A side Napoli.

Inter offered €80 million for the former Wolfsburg player but Napoli have since offered the same amount and are also willing to sign Gabriel too from Lille in a deal that will total €105 million.

As per the report, Napoli and Lille’s presidents have met to try and finalise a deal and negotiations would appear to be on the home straight.

This season the highly rated 21-year-old has made 38 appearances across all competitions to date. During his time on the park, which totals just over 3000 minutes, he has scored 18 goals and provided a total of six assists for his teammates.

Italian Media Claim Lautaro Martinez Must Explicitly Tell Inter He Wants Barcelona Switch For Move To Happen

If Lautaro Martinez wants a move to Barcelona he must express his desire to leave Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Argentine national team striker has been heavily linked with a potential switch to the Spanish giants but has not expressed any form of desire to depart Inter.

Inter do not want to sell him and club management have made that crystal clear in various interviews in recent weeks and months and will only sell him should the 22-year-old ask to leave the club.

He has a €111 million release clause in his current contract with the Nerazzurri club and said clause is due to expire at midnight tonight.

Upon expiration of the clause Inter will have even more control over the player’s future as they will be able to demand above that amount if they wish.

This season the former Racing Club striker has made 37 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 17 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
