Inter have confirmed that Victor Moses has sustained a thigh injury following testing at the Humanitas Institute of Rozzano earlier on today via a statement posted on the official club website.

The Nigerian national team defender asked to be substituted in the second half of the 6-0 win over Brescia in mid-week due to an injury issue which has now been confirmed as muscle fatigue in the flexors of his left thigh.

The club have not given a timetable for Moses’ return although it can be presumed that he will be unavailable for this weekend’s Serie A clash at home to Bologna.

Moses joined Inter on an initial six month loan deal from Chelsea back in the most recent January transfer window and the loan deal has since been extended until the end of the first week in August.

Since his arrival at the club, the 29-year-old has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided three assists.

Inter have began talks with Chelsea over a move for defender Emerson Palmieri according to a report from Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com.

As things currently stand, Inter have not put forward a concrete offer for the Italian national team player but could make an opening offer for him in the coming days.

The initial talks will be helpful for Inter to understand what kind of price they can expect to pay for the full back, who has slid down the pecking order at the Premier League club, who he has been with since January 2018.

The report goes on to explain that the former Roma player is open to the idea of a transfer to Inter, where he would be reunited with Antonio Conte, who took him to Chelsea, although it also stresses that he is entirely focused on the remainder of the season for the time being.

This season the 25-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist for his teammates.

Inter could afford to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if they are able to negotiate an increase on their current deal with kit providers Nike according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Verita.

The Nerazzurri club are planning a revolution both on the pitch and off it and off it they want to revolutionise the commercial revenue that they receive year on year.

Starting from the 2021/22 season long standing main shirt sponsor Pirelli will no longer be on the front of Inter’s shirt. Inter currently earn €19 million a year from Pirelli and want at least €30 million as part of a new main shirt sponsorship, which could come from Alibaba or Samsung.

The report goes on to explain that Inter could put pressure on kit providers Nike to give them more than the €10 million a year they currently do. The deal with Nike is due to run until 2024 and there has been talk of a potential switch to Adidas, which Inter could use to their advantage to gain an increase from Nike.

If Inter are successful in negotiating a new shirt sponsor and new agreement with either Nike or a new company, Inter could focus on signing Milinkovic-Savic, who Lazio president and owner Claudio Lotito wants at least €100 million for.

Lazio are looking to sign the Serbian to a new contract with an annual salary of €4 million a year but the report claims that Inter could instead offer him €6 million a year.

Inter continue to have zero intention of letting Lautaro Martinez depart and once his release clause expires they could even demand more for him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The report states that his €111 million release clause expires in four days time on July 7 whilst reports in Spain lately have insisted that it expires on July 15 instead.

Barcelona could wait until his release clause has expired because if Lautaro, who they have agreed terms with, asks Inter to leave the club, the Nerazzurri could find themselves in a difficult position.

The Blaugrana are convinced that Lautaro’s price could drop to somewhere between €60-70 million and the addition of one or two players should be enough to get a deal done with Inter but Inter have other ideas in mind and could ask for more than €111 million to let him go.

This season the 22-year-old has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 17 goals and tallied five assists.

Roma captain Edin Dzeko is the striker that Inter manager Antonio Conte wants brought in to reinforce the attack in the upcoming transfer window according to a report from Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

For the time being Inter’s priority is to reach a deal with Manchester United to keep Alexis Sanchez on a permanent basis and it remains to be seen what will happen with Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be heavily linked with a potential move to Barcelona.

At this moment, the chances of Lautaro staying with Inter are increasingly considerably and him staying or going will ultimately determine the other moves that the Nerazzurri club make for the attack.

Whilst Dzeko is former Italian national team boss Conte’s preference, the report from the Milan based news outlet adds that Edinson Cavani, who is now a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, is also an option for the attack.

Inter intend to hand young centre back Alessandro Bastoni a new long term contract with the club according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Inter have scheduled a meeting with the Italian youth national team defender’s agent Tullio Tinti and intend to offer him a new contract which will run until the end of the 2024/25.

The Nerazzurri club are prepared to give Bastoni a salary increase and a series of substantial bonuses as part of a new deal as a reward for becoming a regular starter this season and having proved himself as one of the best young Italian defender out there at the moment.

Arsenal and Manchester City have both expressed an interest in Bastoni but Inter clearly have zero intention of letting him depart the club anytime soon.

The report goes on to add that Inter could also hand Inter youth team player David Wieser, who is also represented by Tinti, a new three year contract.

Antoine Griezmann could be key to Barcelona signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

The Frenchman earns €18 million a year and has a high value against Barcelona’s books having signed for €120 million last Summer but the two clubs could find a way to come to an agreement.

Barcelona could offer Griezmann as part of a deal for Lautaro and Inter could take the former Atletico Madrid player on loan for one or maybe two seasons. An intermediary is in fact already working on a solution.

Griezmann’s spell with the Blaugrana club has went far from expected and the player’s relations with manager Quique Setien are far from great, especially after youngster Riqui Puig was preferred to start over him in the recent match with Atletico Madrid.

This season Griezmann has made 43 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 14 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

The signing of Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri is within reach for Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Having wrapped up a deal to sign Achraf Hakimi to reinforce at right wing back, Inter have now shifted their focus onto Emerson who will reinforce the opposite side.

Chelsea are pushing for a permanent transfer whilst it cannot be excluded that Inter may manage to land him on a loan with option to buy. Either way, the transfer fee will be less than a total value of €30 million.

Emerson wants to return to Italy having slid down the pecking order under Frank Lampard and the report states that Juventus are also interested in signing the former Roma defender who has been with his current employers since January 2018.

The report from the Milan based news outlet explains that Inter have identified an alternative to Emerson in the event that they cannot sign him with that alternative being his Chelsea teammate Marcos Alonso.
