Monza manager Christian Brocchi has admitted that wide scale changes are not needing to be made to the team following their recent promotion to Serie B.

Monza, who are backed by former AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi, have drawn no shortage of links to several young players at big Serie A sides and reports have linked the Lombardy based side to a number of Inter youngsters including Michele Di Gregorio, Xian Emmers, Andrew Gravillon and others.

The Brianteo Stadium outfit have also been heavily linked to youngsters from the likes of AC Milan too ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Pescara defender Davide Bettella, who Inter have a buy back option on, has also seen himself linked with a potential switch to Monza as of late.

“We don’t want to change that much, I already have a strong team. We have to only add important players,” Brocchi explained in an interview with Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which appeared in yesterday’s print edition of the Milan based news outlet.

Inter are waiting for the right moment to make a move for Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are confident that the Blaugrana club will come back in for Lautaro Martinez and at that point they will start talks over 2018 World Cup winner Griezmann, whose spell with Barcelona certainly has not went as expected.

The main issue to moving for Griezmann is his bumper salary therefore Marotta is studying the right formula and is thinking about a loan deal.

Inter consider the French national team player to be one of few players capable of replacing Lautaro. Inter could in fact offer a deferred payment and do an Achraf Hakimi style deal for Griezmann to allow themselves to have an adequate replacement for the Argentine.

This season Griezmann has made 43 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 14 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Inter have amassed more points at this stage of the season than Inter’s treble winning team did at the same stage a report from Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com highlighted yesterday.

After 29 games played this season, Antonio Conte’s Inter have picked up 64 points from a possible 87 available to them whilst Jose Mourinho’s Nerazzurri side picked up 60 points. Whilst Conte’s Inter are in third at the moment, Mourinho’s Inter were in first.

Points earned is not the only area where Conte’s Inter have bettered Mourinho’s Inter either with the report highlighting that Inter have scored 62 goals to Mourinho’s Inter’s 60.

Mourinho’s Inter did however perform better defensively than Conte’s Inter have. Mourinho’s Inter had only conceded 28 goals by this stage of that season whilst Conte’s Inter have conceded 29 goals.

Unlike Mourinho’s side, it looks unlikely that this season’s Inter will manage to go all the way and win the Serie A title barring a miracle due to being eight points behind league leaders Juventus.

Former Inter midfielder Antonio Manicone has praised Inter for the fact they are courting Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali.

Inter have been linked with Tonali for a long long time now and as per various reports in the media they have reached an agreement over personal terms with the Italian national team midfielder.

Brescia are said to be demanding in the region of €50 million for the 20-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young Italian players out there at the moment.

Inter however are unwilling to meet La Rondinelle’s asking price for Tonali, who has also been linked to Juventus, and reports have stated Inter would be willing to do a deal worth around €35 million instead.

“He is young and a great prospect, Inter are right to be looking at him,” Manicone explained in an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio yesterday afternoon.

This season Tonali, who is under contract with Brescia until the end of next season, has made 27 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided a handful of assists for his teammates.

Inter wing back Victor Moses has taken to photo sharing social media platform Twitter to celebrate Inter’s 6-0 win over Brescia on Wednesday night.

The Nigerian national team player, who joined Inter on loan in the January transfer window from Chelsea, was one of Inter’s best performers in the match with him providing an assist and winning the penalty which was scored by Alexis Sanchez.

Moses, who has three assists in 12 appearances across all competitions for Inter, posted: “What a team performance.”

Inter have taken to social media platform Twitter to wish teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito a happy birthday as he celebrates turning 18-years-old.

The Italian youth national team striker has had a first team breakthrough at Inter this term with him having made 11 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a single goal.

Now he is 18, Esposito is eligible to sign a professional contract with Inter and reports suggests Inter are keen to tie him down to a long term deal.

Inter central midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has taken to photo sharing social media platform Twitter to share his delight following Inter’s emphatic 6-0 win over Brescia at San Siro on Wednesday night.

The Italian, who joined Inter back in 2017, performed well and scored Inter’s fourth goal of the night in the same goal where he missed an open goal in the recent match against Sassuolo.

Gagliardini, who has three goals and two assists in 20 appearances this season, posted: “Another important step on our journey! Happy to have immediately made “peace” with that goal. Forza Inter!”
