Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate the side’s 6-0 victory over Brescia on Wednesday night at San Siro.

The Danish national team player started the match on the bench and made a real impact when he was introduced during the second half with him grabbing his first Serie A goal and also providing the assist for the sixth goal which was scored by Antonio Candreva.

The January transfer window recruit posted: “High fives all around. Well done boys”

Inter Begin Talks With Chelsea Over Italian International Wing-Back Emerson Palmieri

Inter have begun talks with Chelsea over the possibility of signing Italian international wing-back Emerson Palmieri, according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio

According to the report aired moments ago, the Nerazzurri are yet to make a an official bid for the former AS Roma player but are expected to do so over the next few days.

The initials contacts between the two clubs have been positive, the report continues, and Inter are positive that a deal could be found even though it would require a large financial sacrifice on the part of the Nerazzurri.

Palmieri joined Chelsea from Roma in January 2018 and has since then featured 53 times across all competitions scoring just the one time in the process.

Emerson Palmieri was born and raised in Brazil beginning his footballing career with Santos, but became an Italian citizen due to his Italian heritage and has represented the Italian national team on 7 occasions but is yet to get on the scoresheet.

Fiorentina Considering Appointing Ex-Inter Boss Luciano Spalletti For Next Season

Fiorentina are seriously considering changing their manager and Luciano Spalletti is at the top of their shortlist according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Following the 3-1 loss to Sassuolo which continued La Viola’s poor run of form as of late, Fiorentina management are taking the time to reflect on whether Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Iachini is the right man to manage the club.

The report goes on to explain that Fiorentina management dream of appointing Spalletti as their manager and would be willing to offer him an annual salary of €4.5 million to convince him to take charge of the club.

In order to appoint Spalletti though, Spalletti will have to agree a severance package with Inter seeing as he is still on the club’s books until the end of next season.

The former Roma boss had been heavily linked with taking over at AC Milan earlier on this season but failed to agree a severance package with Inter unwilling to meet his demands to terminate his contract.

Inter Express Interest In Signing Young Sassuolo Striker Gianluca Scamacca

Inter are one of a few clubs who have an interest in signing Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Italian youth national team forward has impressed whilst out on loan at Serie B side Ascoli this term and this has led to Inter, Juventus and Benfica all expressing an interest in signing him to his agent in the coming months.

The 21-year-old has netted 12 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions to date for the struggling Bianconeri club with his goals being a big reason as to why Ascoli are just above the relegation zone rather than in it.

AC Milan have also been linked with a move for the former PSV Eindhoven youth player but as things stand the Rossoneri club are yet to make an official offer for him. AC Milan currently have other priorities to Scamacca but their priorities could change if he is to end the season well.

Bordeaux Unlikely To Move For Inter’s Borja Valero As Coach Paulo Sousa Leaves Club

Paulo Sousa leaving Bordeaux as good as rules the club out from making a move for Inter central midfielder Borja Valero according to a report from French broadcaster RMC Sport, which was aired a short time ago.

The veteran Spanish midfielder’s contract with Inter is due to expire at the end of August and Bordeaux had shown an interest in him in recent weeks but with Sousa, who Valero worked with at Fiorentina, leaving the club Valero is unlikely to be pursued by the management of the Ligue 1 outfit.

It remains to be seen what will happen with Valero as his contract nears closer to expiring. Inter manager Antonio Conte has been full of praise for the former West Bromwich Albion player as of late but at 35-years-old it is undeniable that his best years as a player are now behind him.

This season Valero has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals.

Juventus Working On Deal To Sign Ex-Inter Striker Andrea Pinamonti From Genoa

Juventus are in talks with Genoa over striker Andrea Pinamonti according to a report via the website of Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

Juventus are very interested in the young Italian striker and in the past few hours they have intensified contact with Genoa in a bid to reach a deal.

Pinamonti joined Genoa this past Summer on a season long loan with obligation to buy from Inter and as part of the deal Inter and Genoa reached a gentleman’s agreement to allow Inter to re-sign him but there is no guarantee that this will happen.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi is in a hurry to sell Pinamonti, who he paid €18 million for. Pedulla goes on to explain that Juventus are looking at Pinamonti as they want to add a young striker to their ranks as well as a more experienced one in the coming months.

This season Pinamonti has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored six goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

Inter New Boy Achraf Hakimi Is The Most Expensive African Player In Serie A History

Achraf Hakimi is the most expensive African player in Serie A history Transfermarkt have highlighted via social media platform Twitter.

The Moroccan national team full back today completed a €45 million including add-ons move from Real Madrid to Inter, who he has signed a five year contract with.

The 21-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best up and coming full backs in the game at the moment, has also become the seventh most expensive African player in football history. The most expensive African player is Nicolas Pepe, who joined Premier League outfit Arsenal from Lille in the past Summer transfer window.

Hakimi joins Inter off the back of a highly successful two year loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, where he really put his name on the map.

This past season he made 45 appearances across all competitions to date in which he scored nine goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.

Physical Condition Of Inter Wingback Victor Moses To Be Evaluated Ahead Of Bologna Clash

Victor Moses’ condition will be assessed ahead of this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Bologna according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The Nigerian wing back starred in Inter’s 6-0 win over Brescia on Wednesday night and was substituted in the second half and Sky Sport Italia claim that the Chelsea owned player asked Inter manager Antonio Conte to be substituted due to a problem.

Inter were granted a rest day today for their efforts in the match yesterday night and are due to return to the training pitches at the Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti tomorrow to begin their preparations to take on the Rossoblu side at San Siro on Sunday night.

On top of Moses, it remains to be seen whether or not Matias Vecino or Stefano Sensi will be available for selection to take on former Inter player Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side with both players having been dealing with injuries as of late.
