Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella will start against Parma tomorrow evening, with either Borja Valero or Roberto Gagliardini lining up alongside him, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 23-year-old Italian midfielder will start against the Emilian club tomorrow, after being benched for the game against Sassuolo in the middle of the week.

Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will not play, and didn’t train with the squad yesterday. Coach Antonio Conte and Milan Skriniar are both suspended and will also be unable to watch the game from the sidelines.

Either Valero or Gagliardini will start tomorrow evening, the report continues. The 26-year-old former Atalanta midfielder is disappointed after his infamous open goal miss against Sassuolo in the mid-week game and is hoping to redeem himself against Parma tomorrow. Three Inter players whose contracts were due to expire at the end of this month have extended their deals to last until the end of the season, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia this afternoon.

The report details how 35-year-old Spanish midfielder Borja Valero, 34-year-old Italian goalkeeper Daniele Padelli and 37-year-old shot stopper Tommaso Berni will all sign short term extensions that will renew their contracts until the end of August, allowing them to finish the season with the Milanese club.

Only one of the three players, Padelli, is expected to stay on with the squad next season, whilst the other two will be available to join other clubs on a free transfer.

Valero has featured semi-regularly for Inter this season under coach Antonio Conte, the report continues, having made 17 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 946 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals, including one against his former club Fiorentina.

There will be no buyback clause in the deal between Inter and Real Madrid regarding Achraf Hakimi, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

In the agreement between the two clubs there will be no buy back clause, the report continues, and there will not even be preferential transfer rights, giving Inter a powerful hand.

Conte wanted Hakimi personally and will be excited to integrate the 21-year-old into the squad. Hakimi will be given a five-year contract worth €5 million net per season, and he will cost the Nerazzurri around €40-45 million.

The report details how the 21-year-old Moroccan right back, who has impressed in his two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund, has personally asked to be sold and has chosen Inter for over a month now, wanting to be a part of coach Antonio Conte’s project. Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc discussed the departure of Achraf Hakimi, his return to Real Madrid and possible transfer to Inter in an interview with German broadcaster Sky Sports Deutschland earlier today.

“We tried to keep him with other ideas, but the price was too high for us and Real Madrid did not want to lose money in any way. We simply realized at some point that we couldn’t and didn’t want to keep him here. There have been new developments these days, and the sum of the transfer will certainly be higher.”

Inter are prepared to sign the 21-year-old Moroccan right back Hakimi, who has impressed in his two seasons on loan with Borussia Dortmund.

The Nerazzurri will pay around €40-45 million for Hakimi’s signature, offering him a five-year contract worth €5 million net per season plus add-ons, making a statement to the football world that the Milanese club are fighting amongst the best again.

Inter could return in the fight to sign Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla, after Lazio’s deal proved insufficient for the Gialloblu, according to a report from Italian journalist Nicolo Schira on Twitter earlier today.

The report details how the Biancocelesti submitted an €18 million offer for the 20-year-old Albanian defender, including two players in exchange, but the offer was declined by the Veneto based club, who still want €30 million for their starlet.

Inter have been interested in Kumbulla for some time now, the report continues, and may look to reinsert themselves into negotiations for the 20-year-old. The Albanian centre back has impressed in his debut season in Serie A, attracting the attention of top clubs around Europe.

Inter have reached an agreement with Chelsea and Manchester United to extend the loan deals of Victor Moses and Alexis Sanchez until the end of the season, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are keen to keep both the players until the end of the season, which would require an extension considering that both deals are set to expire at the end of this month. The Coronavirus stop has pushed the Serie A season back by around three months and so new deals are needed that will expire at the end of August instead.
