Italian Media Claims Inter Coach Conte’s Road To Redemption Goes Via Winning The Europa League

Inter manager Antonio Conte has nothing other to aim for than the Europa League in the remainder of this season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The only way that the former Italian national team manager can redeem himself is by winning the Europa League. Whilst it is not the Champions League, it is still a trophy and if Inter win it it will be their first trophy in almost a decade.

By winning the Europa League, Inter would also be a first seed in next season’s Champions League draw meaning they may get an easier group than they have had in each of the last two seasons where they have been third and fourth seeds.

The report goes on to suggest that Inter are one of the favourites to win the Europa League, the remainder of which is to be contested in Germany in August.

Italian Media Report Inter Fine Milan Skriniar Following His Sending Off Against Sassuolo

Inter intend to fine central defender Milan Skriniar after his sending off in Inter’s most recent match according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Slovakian national team player was sent off in the dying embers of Inter’s 3-3 draw at home to Sassuolo in midweek and he reacted angrily to his sending off.

As a result, he was handed a three match suspension and was also fined €10,000 and Inter president Steven Zhang will also hit him with a fine although the report does not explain how large that fine will be. The report also details that Inter will not be appealing his suspension.

The first match that Skriniar will miss will be this weekend’s match away to Parma, which Inter manager Antonio Conte will also miss due to suspension. His assistant Cristian Stellini will therefore be in charge at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

This season Skriniar has made 35 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided two assists.

Bayern Munich Could Send Inter Owned Croatian Winger Ivan Perisic On Holiday

Bayern Munich could cause damage to both Inter and Ivan Perisic by sending him on holiday according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Croatian national team player joined the recently crowned Bundesliga champions on a season long loan this past Summer and as part of the deal, Bayern Munich secured an option to buy him outright for €20 million.

The option has however now expired after Bayern Munich deemed it too high and the clubs reportedly agreed to hold talks over the former Borussia Dortmund player’s future at a later date.

The report from the Milan based news outlet claims that the fact the Bavarians could send him on holiday given the Bundesliga season is finished this weekend could damage things.

Whilst on loan at the Allianz Arena club, the 31-year-old has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has scored six goals and tallied eight assists.

Inter aside, the report states that Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid all have an interest but there is currently nothing concrete.

It goes on to add that the Gunners want at least €40 million for Guendouzi, who they signed from FC Lorient back in the Summer of 2018.

Inter Working Hard On Extending Loan Of Man Utd’s Alexis Sanchez Until After Europa League

Inter are working to extend Alexis Sanchez’s loan deal with the club until the end of the season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Inter must deal with Manchester United who are reluctant to extend his loan as they hope to be able to weaken Inter, who they could end up facing in the Europa League.

Should Inter be unable to come to an agreement over a loan extension with the Red Devils, they will be left with just Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez plus youngster Sebastiano Esposito as attacking options for the Europa League.

Whilst on loan at Inter former Barcelona and Arsenal attacker Sanchez has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date.

During his time on the park, which totals just shy of 700 minutes, the Chilean national team player has scored a single goal and has also provided four assists for his teammates.

Inter Coach Antonio Conte Willing To Reintegrate Radja Nainggolan In Nerazzurri Squad

Inter manager Antonio Conte is willing to reintegrate Radja Nainggolan at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgian is currently out on loan at Cagliari having been judged to be out of the club’s project this past Summer but could be handed a second chance with him highly likely to return to Inter rather than stay at Cagliari permanently.

The report explains that Conte wants players added to the team who can make a difference in the dressing room and former Roma man Nainggolan could do just that.

Nainggolan joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 in a player plus cash deal from Roma and had an alright first season with the Nerazzurri.

Whilst on loan at Cagliari this term, Nainggolan has appeared to get back to his best, or at least close to it. He has made 24 appearances, in which he has scored five goals and tallied six assists.

Italian Media Report Inter To Make A Minimum Of 5 Signings This Summer Including Sandro Tonali

Inter will make at least five additions to the squad in the upcoming transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The Nerazzurri are planning to revolutionise the squad and on top of many players coming in, many players will also pass through the exit door.

Roberto Gagliardini, Borja Valero, Victor Moses are all set to depart and there is also little chance of Cristiano Biraghi staying with the club. Diego Godin also may depart the club after just a season.

As for incoming transfers, Sandro Tonali will be one of them and Arturo Vidal may also arrive at the club. There is also a chance that Inter could extend the loan of Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United for another season.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that it remains to be seen what will happen with Lautaro Martinez, who continues to be linked with a potential move to Barcelona ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Inter Struggling In Negotiations With Chelsea & Man Utd Over Loan Extension Of Victor Moses & Alexis Sanchez

Inter are hopeful of resolving the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Victor Moses quickly even if Manchester United and Chelsea are likely to complicate matters according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Both the Chilean and Nigerian are currently on loan at Inter and the report explains that Manchester United are currently only willing to agree to extend Sanchez’s loan until the end of the domestic season thus meaning Sanchez would be unavailable for Inter in the Europa League in August.

The Red devils are ultimately looking to cash in on Sanchez and the same goes for Chelsea with Moses, who Inter have an option to buy for a sum of €12 million.

Whilst on loan at Inter, Sanchez has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and tallied four assists. Moses has meanwhile made 10 appearances and contributed a single assist.
