Inter will definitely be without Matias Vecino, Stefano Sensi and Milan Skriniar for this weekend’s Serie A match away to Parma according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Vecino and Sensi are to miss the match due to injury whilst Skriniar is to the serve the first match of a three match ban.

The report warns that Inter may also be without midfielders Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic. Barella is currently struggling with a slight problem whilst Brozovic is working to recover in time. Both player’s conditions will be assessed prior to the game.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is hopeful of recovering Brozovic, even if the Croatian may only be able to start the match on the bench.

The report goes on to add that Diego Godin is currently favourite over Danilo D’Ambrosio to come in in place of Skriniar and both Antonio Candreva and Ashley Young will return to the starting line-up too.

Probable Inter line-up (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Antonio Candreva, Roberto Gagliardini, Nicolo Barella, Ashley Young; Christian Eriksen; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.

Achraf Hakimi is 90% certain to leave Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window according to a report from Spanish television programme El Chiringuito, which was aired earlier on today.

The Real Madrid owned full back is currently out on loan at Borussia Dortmund and there has been no shortage of interest shown in him ahead of the transfer window.

He has received three concrete offers to date from Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Inter and the report claims that Inter are his current favourite destination. The player, as per the report anyway, is bewitched by the possibility of being able to play for the Nerazzurri club.

This season the Spanish born Moroccan national team defender has made 44 appearances across all competitions to date.

In his time on the park, which totals just over 3500 minutes, Hakimi has scored nine goals and he has also provided his teammates with a total of 10 assists too.

Inter are close to reaching an agreement over a new five year contract with teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Esposito recently changed agent from Augusto Carpeggiani to Federico Pastorello and Inter have gotten closer to the player’s demands for a salary of €1 million a year and the feeling is that an agreement will soon be reached between the parties.

The report goes on to explain that a number of clubs have shown an interest in taking him on loan next season with Parma, Hellas Verona and Bologna all keen on signing him.

Udinese are newly interested in taking him on a temporary basis too and have made an enquiry to Inter in the past few days.

This season the Italian youth national team player has had a first team breakthrough. He has made 11 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a single goal.

Lazio have reached an agreement over personal terms with Marash Kumbulla and have also made an offer to Hellas Verona according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired late last night.

The capital city club have agreed terms over a five year contract with an annual salary of €1.5 million with the highly rated 20-year-old centre back.

Lazio have made an offer worth somewhere between €26-27 million for the Italian born Albanian national team player and whilst there is no agreement with Hellas Verona yet, things seems to be heading in the right direction for the Biancocelesti club.

Inter have also shown a keen interest and have made a €25 million plus €3 million in add-ons offer whilst reigning Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly also shown an interest in signing him but as things stand Lazio appear closest to signing him.

This season Kumbulla has made 21 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal.

Pescara full back Gabriele Zappa has admitted that he is currently not thinking about the possibility of Inter taking up their buy back option on him.

The Italian youth national team player joined his current employers in January 2019 and as part of the deal Inter secured an option to buy him back in the upcoming transfer window.

“I’m a Pescara player, even if Inter have a buy back option. For now I try to give my best for Pescara, I’m a Biancazzurro player and I’m in love with this city, so I don’t think about everything else,” he remarked in an interview with the Abruzzo edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero, which appeared in yesterday’s print edition.

Zappa is a product of Inter’s youth academy and made 86 appearances across all competitions at youth level for Inter. He was also named on the bench for the first team a few times during his time with the club but never made a first team appearance.

This season for Pescara Zappa has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just over 1200 minutes, he has scored four goals and tallied one assist.

Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media platform Twitter to slam Inter central defender Milan Skriniar after he was sent off in Inter’s 3-3 draw with Sassuolo last night.

The Slovakian national team player picked up a second yellow card in the final minutes of the game and he has today been slapped with a three match suspension as well as a €10,000 fine for his sending off and his actions following referee Davide Massa’s decision to send him off.

Ravezzani has claimed that Skriniar lacked respect for himself and Inter due to his actions following his sending off which Ravezzani believes was the only outcome after his late foul.

He posted: “Skriniar did 3 unjustifiable things. An idiotic foul, blasphemy and hurled insults at the referee who could not help but book and send him off. A champion should never make certain mistakes out of respect for himself and the shirt he wears.”

This season the former Sampdoria player has made 35 appearances across all competitions to date and in his time on the park, which totals just over 3000 minutes, he has failed to score any goals but has provided two assists for his teammates.

Nicolo Barella remained on the bench last night not due to injury but due to Inter having a fear he could pick up one according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInter1908.it.

The Italian national team midfielder has been pivotal for Inter this term but was given a rare opportunity to rest for last night’s match against Sassuolo as he started on the bench.

He was widely expected to be among the players Antonio Conte would bring on at some stage in the game but he never came on and FCInter1908.it claim that Inter did not want to run the risk of him getting injured given the number of injuries in the midfield already.

Stefano Sensi, Matias Vecino and Marcelo Brozovic are all currently sidelined with injury issues and had Barella picked up an injury, Inter’s midfield options would be reduced to the bare minimum, which would be far from ideal given the amount of games Inter are to face in quick succession.
