Social Media – Italian Journalist Fabrizio Biasin Sarcastic: “3 Match Suspension For Skriniar But 0 For Gagliardini”

Italian football journalist Fabrizio Biasin has taken to social media platform Twitter to poke fun at sports judge Gerrardo Mastrandrea’s recent decisions.

Mastrandrea hit Inter central defender Milan Skriniar with a three match ban and a fine of €10,000 after he was sent off against Sassuolo on Sunday night and also confirmed that Inter manager Antonio Conte will be suspended for Inter’s upcoming match against Parma.

Biasin took to Twitter and joked that Roberto Gagliardini, who has a poor performance, should have been punished too.

He posted: “Among the shingles received here comes one from the Disciplinary Committee: 3 match suspension for Skriniar, one match for Conte, none for Gagliardini.”

Italian Journalist Sconcerti: “Inter Coach Conte Is Self-Referent, He Asks Questions He Answers Himself”

In his latest column, which appeared in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera, Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti has shared his views on Inter’s performance in last night’s 3-3 draw at home to Sassuolo.

Inter fell behind early doors but managed to recover and go into the half time interval 2-1 ahead thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Biragh.

Inter could and should have went further ahead but failed to capitalise on chances before Sassuolo brought things level. Just before the end Borja Valero looked to have scored a winner for Inter but the lead was short lived as Sassuolo scored moments later.

“Inter have dropped to eight points behind top spot. Conte remains alone again with his eternally insufficient millionaire squad. Conte is a self-referent, he asks questions and answers them himself,” Sconcerti began his piece in the Milan based news outlet.

“He hasn’t accepted a free interview for years. A complete and extra-moenia explanation of his work, which very often is excellent, but not always, and belongs to everyone, not only to him.”

He went on to add: “Conte’s game is simple and concrete, but it lacks lightness, dribbling, imagination and speed in the last twenty meters. Among many good ones, there is no one who has the last idea and without that you slam into the opponents.”

Inter are back in action this coming weekend with them set to face Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. The match is scheduled to kick off at 21:45 local time on Sunday.

Sint-Truiden Seeking Facundo Colidio Loan Extension From Inter

Sint-Truiden have asked Inter if the loan deal of young striker Facundo Colidio’s can be extended until the end of next season according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Argentine youth national team forward joined the Jupiler Pro League side on a season long loan this past Summer and the Limburg based side would like to keep a hold of him for another 12 months.

Colidio initially struggled to get into the team but prior to the remainder of the league being cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, he had had an extended run in the side.

The 20-year-old joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 from Argentine powerhouses Boca Juniors and has a contract with Inter through to the end of the 2022/23 season.

During his loan spell with Sint-Truiden, Colidio has made 13 appearances across all competitions to date at first team level. In his time on the park he has scored one goal and provided seven assists.

Spanish Media Claim Inter & Atletico Madrid Could Swap Diego Godin & Stefan Savic

Inter have sparked an interest in signing Atletico Madrid central defender Stefan Savic ahead of the upcoming transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet Fichajes.net.

Inter could possibly add the Montenegro national team player to their ranks via a swap deal with the Spanish giants who have shown an interest in re-signing Diego Godin, who left them for Inter this past Summer.

The 29-year-old defender has been with Atleti since the Summer of 2015 and has a contract with them through to the end of the 2021/22 season.

The former Manchester City player is no stranger to Italian football having previously spent three years with Fiorentina before he joined Atletico Madrid.

Italian Media Claim Brescia Lower Asking Price Of Inter Target Sandro Tonali To €40M

Brescia have dropped their demands for star player Sandro Tonali according to a report from Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

Brescia had previously been demanding €50 million for the highly rated Italian national team midfielder but Pedulla claims that La Rondinelle have dropped their demands to somewhere between €30-40 million for the promising youngster.

Pedulla goes on to explain that a deal should be reached between Inter and Brescia for Tonali at around €40 million including add-ons and there will be no players included on Inter’s end as part of the deal.

He also claims that this is the reason why Inter have slowed down in their pursuit of Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla, who Lazio now appear closest to signing.

This season Tonali, who is under contract with Brescia until the end of next season, has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided a handful of assists for his teammates.

Inter’s Nicolo Barella & Lautaro Martinez Could Miss Serie A Clash Against Parma Due To Injury

Nicolo Barella is a doubt for Inter ahead of their upcoming Serie A match away to Parma according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The Italian national team central midfielder was an unused substitute in the 3-3 draw with Sassuolo at San Siro in midweek and as per the report, he is not in the best of shape ahead of the match against the Ducali club, which is scheduled to kick off at the Stadio Ennio Tardini at 21:45 local time on Sunday night.

Barella is not the only player at risk of missing out either with the report also stating that striker Lautaro Martinez is dealing with a back injury which he sustained during the match after he came on as a substitute in the second half.

Marcelo Brozovic should however recover in time to make a return having been forced to miss both of Inter’s last games due to injury.
