Lautaro Martinez wants a move to Barcelona and could soon publicly express his desire to do so according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport.
The Inter striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Blaugrana club for a considerable amount of time and although he does not want to force a move, he feels like he has to make it clear he wants to go due to Inter’s clear reluctance to sell him.
Barcelona had hoped to finalise a deal for Lautaro by the end of May but Inter scuppered their plans. Barcelona want to pay no more than €65 million plus two players whilst Inter continue to demand that the 22-year-old’s €111 million release clause is met or €90 million plus one player.
The report goes on to explain that the Argentine had a meeting with Inter manager Antonio Conte in recent weeks and told him he wants to leave but the conversation did not have the impact that the player had hoped.
