Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic excited by Chelsea interest – agent

Ivan Perisic has been strongly linked with Chelsea.
Ivan Perisic is enthusiastic about reported interest in him from Chelsea, his agent has said.
Inter Milan winger Perisic could move on in the summer if the club fail to qualify for the Champions League, which would worsen their financial situation and make the sale of players necessary.
Perisic — signed by Roberto Mancini from Wolfsburg last summer — is excited by the reported interest from London, agent Tonci Martic has said.
"To be wanted by a club like Chelsea and a manager like Antonio Conte…

Zlatan Ibrahimovic retirement like ‘stealing the Mona Lisa’ – Mino Raiola

PSG head coach Laurent Blanc praises the tenacity of Zlatan Ibrahimovic after he missed a penalty and later scored.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic retiring this summer would be like "somebody stealing the Mona Lisa," according to the Paris Saint-Germain star's agent.
Ibrahimovic's contract with PSG expires this summer and although the striker has said "many clubs" are interested in signing him he has not ruled out retiring from football.
"If he retires, it would be like somebody stealing the Mona Lisa — it would be a crime against sporting humanity," his agent, Mino Raiola, told Radio Monte-Carlo. "If he retires,…

Inter’s Mauro Icardi labels Maxi Lopez as ‘ignorant’ after handshake refusal

Torino striker Maxi Lopez refused to shake Mauro Icardi's hand before the game on Sunday.
Mauro Icardi branded Maxi Lopez "ignorant" as the pair's feud continued in Inter Milan's 2-1 loss to Torino on Sunday.
The two players have been at odds since Icardi married Lopez's ex-wife Wanda Nara in 2013, just months after she divorced the Argentine striker.
It became worse when Icardi spotted a tattoo of Lopez's three children on his arm, which resulted in the player refusing to shake Icardi's hand in a Serie A game back in April 2014.

Roberto Mancini upset with ‘absurd’ Inter Milan loss to Torino

Torino fought back to beat Inter Milan at the San Siro on Sunday.
Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini said his side "lost a game that seemed impossible to lose" in their 2-1 home loss against Torino on Sunday, and accused the visitors' Andrea Belotti of cheating.
Mancini's men were leading 1-0 after a dominant first half which saw Mauro Icardi score via a 17th-minute penalty. Things changed after the break, however, and Torino worked their way back in the 55th minute through Christian Molinaro.
Central defender Miranda was then sent off for a late challenge, before Belotti…

Inter’s Champions League dreams dashed in loss to Torino

Internazionale manager Roberto Mancini, right, couldn't coax his side into securing three points vs. Torino on Sunday.

Inter faced Torino knowing that Fiorentina had dropped points against Sampdoria and that Roma had won 4-1 in the Derby della Capitale. There was little point denying that this was a must-win game for Roberto Mancini's men if they were to achieve their preseason ambitions. The recent form of the Granata had given the Nerazzurri hope, after being decimated by Juventus and beaten by Genoa, shipping seven goals in both games.

Inter started the game in an almost timid manner but soon started to pick…

Inter Milan’s Croatian duo Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic key vs. Torino

If Inter can claw back into the last Champions League spot in Serie A, Ivan Perisic will be at the heart of the effort.

Inter Milan's fall from grace at the beginning of 2016 has now made a majority of their remaining fixtures must-win ties. The fact is, that the poor form shown after January has unfortunately coincided with the resurgence of Luciano Spalletti's Roma and left the team chasing what should have been a nailed down Champions League spot. Things have improved of late and some interesting partnerships have evolved. Most notably is the one between Inter's two Croatian internationals Ivan Perisic and Marcelo…
