MILAN – After wins for Yuto Nagatomo, Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic, another Inter player has picked up a victory on international duty. 

Joao Miranda played the whole 90 minutes as Brazil eased through their World Cup 2018 qualification match against Peru 3-0.

Samir Handanovic also contested the entire game in the Euro 2016 play-off second leg between Slovenia and Ukraine. The match finished 1-1, handing Mykhaylo Fomenko’s side the last remaining spot in France next year thanks to a 2-0 victory in the first leg.  

Colombia were narrowly beaten in their home Russia 2018 qualifer against Argentina. Jeison Murillo played 90 minutes, while Fredy Guarin was an unused substitute in Jose Pekermen’s squad.  

Gary Medel tasted defeat as well yesterday, playing in Chile’s 3-0 loss to Uruguay in Week 4 of the qualification tournament for the World Cup 2018.
