Italian Report Claims Inter Have Found An Agreement With Brescia For Sandro Tonali

Inter have reached an agreement with Brescia over the transfer of highly rated midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.

The Nerazzurri and Rondinelle club have a general agreement over the Italian national team player and the deal will be worth somewhere in the region of €35-38 million. This figure is much less than Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino’s initial demands for Tonali, which were €50 million.

The 20-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young Italian prospects out there at the moment, has already agreed personal terms with Inter as per other reports that have done the rounds in the media as of late.

This season Tonali, who is under contract with Brescia until the end of next season, has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided six assists for his teammates.

Barcelona Offer Antoine Griezmann To Inter & Juventus But His High Wages Are A Huge Obstacle

Barcelona have offered Antoine Griezmann to both Inter and Juventus according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.

The Blaugrana club offered the French national team forward to Inter as part of a deal for Lautaro Martinez but his €17 million salary is insurmountable for both Inter and Juventus and even the biggest of clubs.

Griezmann joined Barcelona this past Summer from Atletico Madrid for €120 million but his time at the Camp Nou has went far from expected.

The report goes on to explain that Inter have every intention of trying to sign Lautaro Martinez to a new and improved contract in a bid to deter the interest shown in him.

Inter plan to raise his salary to €5 million a year but do have a plan B in mind in the event that he is to depart the club.

Should he leave, Inter could move for either Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Edinson Cavani, who is now a free agent following his release from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last month.

Italian Media Critical Of Referee Luca Pairetto’s Performance In Inter’s Loss To Bologn a

In today’s print edition, Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have analysed the performance of referee Luca Pairetto in last night’s match between Inter and Bologna at San Siro.

The Milan based news outlet admit to being unconvinced by Pairetto’s efforts in the match which Bologna surprisingly won 2-1.

Pairetto dished out two red cards during the course of the match. The first red he issued was to Bologna midfielder Roberto Soriano. Soriano reacted to a foul being given against him by shouting ‘you are poor’ at the direction of Pairetto who excessively handed him a red card. A stern talking to and a yellow card would have sufficed in this situation.

The second red card was handed to Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni who received a second booking but Gazzetta dello Sport are not convinced that the young Italian deserved a booking.

Whilst not convinced by his decisions to issue red cards, Gazzetta dello Sport do praise Pairetto for correctly awarding Inter a penalty after Mitchell Dijks fouled Antonio Candreva.

Italian Media Highlight Lukaku, Young & Candreva As Inter’s Best Performers Against Bologna

Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young and Antonio Candreva were Inter’s best performers in the 2-1 loss to Bologna last night at San Siro according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lukaku scored Inter’s only goal of the match at the midway point of the first half whilst Young and Candreva had some good moments in the match. All three players have been handed 6.5/10 ratings.

Club captain Samir Handanovic was Inter’s next best performer despite the fact he conceded two goals. The Slovenian made many big saves and ultimately kept Inter from being embarrassed even more. He has been given a 6/10 rating.

Stefan de Vrij, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Marcelo Brozovic were Inter’s next best performers with them receiving ratings of just 5/10.

Alessandro Bastoni and Lautaro Martinez both got 4.5 whilst the worst performances on the night belonged to Roberto Gagliardini, Alexis Sanchez and Christian Eriksen who both got 4/10.

The Milan based news outlet gave Inter’s performance as a whole a rating of 4/10 and also gave manager Antonio Conte the same rating, with his failure to make changes sooner one of the main factors in this.

Due to being in the dressing room for so long after the match, former Italian national team manager Conte never began post-match media duties until 90 minutes after the full time whistle.

Ex-Inter Primavera Player Davide Bettella Set For Monza Move

Davide Bettella is on the verge of completing a move to newly promoted Monza according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Italian youth national team defender will be joining from Atalanta, who has spent this season out on loan at Serie B side Pescara.

Bettella joined Atalanta in the Summer of 2018 from Inter and as part of the deal Inter obtained a buy back option on him but it is unclear how this will be impacted by his transfer to former AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi backed Monza.

Monza’s chief executive Adriano Galliani met with the youngsters agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Riso over the weekend to come to an agreement and it seems to be only a matter of time until the move is made official.

This season the 20-year-old has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided two assists.

Italian Media Reports Inter Striker Lautaro Martinez Behavior Shows His Head Is In Barcelona

Lautaro Martinez behavior on the pitch suggests he think he already is a Barcelona player according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

According to the report, his lack of lucidity and nervousness suggests that the former Racing Avellanada player is not focused on Inter.

As per the report, it will become clear to Lautaro that Barcelona are unable to satisfy Inter and that the Blaugrana club also have other priorities to him, especially after his buy out clause expires.

The Inter and Argentine national team striker has been heavily linked with a potential switch to Barcelona, who have so far failed to meet Inter’s demands for him, and his performances have suffered as of late as a result of the increased speculation.

Reports have suggested he has already agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants and this report from the Rome based news outlet states that tomorrow, when his €111 million release clause, could be decisive for his future.

The 22-year-old has made 37 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 17 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
