Inter Midfielder Stefano Sensi Still Weeks Away From Returning From Injury

Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is still a few weeks away from being able to make a return to action according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The injury plagued midfielder will be sidelined for at least another couple of weeks due to the hamstring injury which he sustained in training back in the middle of May.

This current injury is just one in a long line of injuries that the Italian national team player has had to deal with throughout this campaign.

Sensi made a great start to life at Inter but following his first injury which was sustained in the Derby D’Italia loss to arch rivals Juventus in October, it has just been injury after injury for him.

The 24-year-old, who is on loan at Inter with an option to buy from Sassuolo, has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and tallied four assists.

Inter Wing-Back Victor Moses To Miss Bologna Clash But Should Be Back For Hellas Verona

Victor Moses’ thigh injury will not keep him out on the sidelines for too long according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter confirmed that the on loan Nigerian national team defender is suffering from muscle fatigue in his left thigh and Sky Sport Italia state that he will probably miss this weekend’s clash at home to Bologna.

The Chelsea owned player should however be able to return to action against Hellas Verona in midweek or in the worst case scenario he will be back for Inter’s game after that which comes against Torino on Monday July 13.

Moses joined Inter on a six month loan deal with option to buy set at €12 million from the Premier League club in the most recent January transfer window.

Since his arrival at the club, he has went on to make 12 appearances across all competitions to do, in which he provided three assists.

Inter Wing-Back Ashley Young: “Convinced We Can Win Both The Europa League & Serie A This Season”

Inter defender Ashley Young has revealed that he and his teammates hope to win a trophy between now and the end of the 2019/20 season.

“We hope to end the year by winning a trophy. Next year is the future and we want to win now,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia a short while ago.

“It’s better if we can do it immediately, that’s our target. We are in the running for both the Scudetto and the Europa League. We have the chance to win at least one trophy. I’m convinced we can conquer them both. There’s the possibility to win in Europe.”

He proceeded to speak on the team as a whole and shared that the team are aiming to go all the way and win the Europa League.

“We are a great team with fantastic players, ready to do our best. We get along off the pitch, that’s an aspect that increases the chances of winning. When the Europa League starts, I’m sure we will play to win.”

The former Manchester United player then went on to discuss the differences that he has noticed between playing in Italy compared to England, where he had spent the entirety of his career before the move to Inter in January.

“The Italian League is more tactical than the Premier League. It’s a fantastic league that I have followed for many years.”

Next he admitted that he did not even need to think twice about signing on the dotted line when he heard that Inter wanted to bring him to the club.

“Coming to Inter was an opportunity, as soon as I heard about the possibility, I replied: ‘Of course, where do I have to sign?’ I was looking forward to starting training with my teammates and playing games.”

In conclusion the experienced Englishman spoke briefly on Inter manager Antonio Conte and what he is like.

“He’s a coach with a lot of quality and passion for football, you see him on the sidelines.”

Marcelo Brozovic Could Return To Action For Inter’s Serie A Clash With Bologna

Inter central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could make a return to action in this weekend’s match at home to Bologna according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Probable Inter starting lineup (3-4-1-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan De Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Antonio Candreva, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Ashley Young; Christian Eriksen; Alexis Sanchez, Lautaro Martinez.

Sebastiano Esposito’s Family Want Inter To Table Offer Similar To One Andrea Pinamonti Received

There are obstacles needing to be overcome in talks between Inter and teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito over a first professional contract according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have proposed a contract worth €450,000 a year but the player and his family would like a deal more akin to the one given to Andrea Pinamonti a few years ago.

Pinamonti was handed a contract worth €1 million a year and Esposito’s family feel that he is deserving of such a deal seeing as he has done more than Pinamonti had in the Inter first team when he was given that deal.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Esposito has zero intention of leaving Inter on a permanent basis but could spend next season out on loan to get valuable first team minutes rather than be Inter’s fourth of fifth choice option up top.

Ex-Inter Captain Mauro Icardi On Napoli & Juventus Links: “I Don’t Want Italy Return, Happy At PSG”

Mauro Icardi has insisted that there was no doubt that he would become a Paris Saint-Germain player on a permanent basis, a few weeks on from his transfer from Inter.

The 27-year-old Argentine joined the recently crowned French champions on a season long loan this past Summer with a €70 million option to buy attached.

Paris Saint-Germain activated the purchase option although negotiated a new deal with Inter worth €58 million, including add-ons.

“As soon as I arrived in Paris from Italy, my decision was final. The purchase option could only be activated this season but for me, everything has been final since last season,” Icardi explained in an interview with the online edition of French newspaper Le Parisien.

He then went on to reveal that it was easy for him to sign for the French capital city club on a permanent basis.

“When the purchase option became a real opportunity, we discussed it with the club management and with Leonardo. I evaluated this decision with my family and we all decided to stay. Leonardo then confirmed that the option was exercised. It was easy to sign.”

Icardi, who was formerly Inter’s captain, went on to add that his family are now all settled in in Paris and was asked about links to Juventus and Napoli.

“Links to Juventus and Napoli? No, no. I feel good in Paris. I went back to Italy during the holidays and spent quarantine there with my family. I’m close by, barely an hour on the plane and now my family has completely settled in Paris.”

This past season, Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. During his time on the park, he scored 20 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

It is inevitable that Emerson Palmieri will leave Chelsea according to a report from the online edition of British newspaper The Independent.

Chelsea have considered his departure from the club as being inevitable since January and the player now looks set for a switch to Inter.
