Inter New Boy Achraf Hakimi Left Real Madrid Due To Zinedine Zidane’s Treatment Of Him

Zinedine Zidane’s treatment of him was one of the key factors in Achraf Hakimi deciding to leave Real Madrid for Inter according to a report from Spanish television programme El Chiringuito, which was aired earlier on today.

As per the report, the Real Madrid manager never spoke to Hakimi once in the past two years whilst he has been out on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

In addition to this, Zidane never showed any interest in bringing Hakimi back to the club and integrating him into the first team picture.

Hakimi underwent and passed his medical with Inter yesterday and he also put pen to paper on a five year contract which he will earn €5 million a year from.

Official confirmation of the deal, which will cost Inter €45 million, including add-ons, is yet to arrive although it is edging ever closer to being finalised.

This past season Hakimi made 45 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored nine goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.

Andrea Pinamonti On Inter Return: “My Future Will Be Decided With My Agent & The Clubs”

Genoa striker Andrea Pinamonti has confirmed that he and his representatives will decide his future come the end of the season.

Pinamonti joined his current employers in a loan with obligation to buy deal from Inter this past Summer and as part of that deal Inter and Genoa reached a gentleman’s agreement for Inter to re-sign him for €20 million this Summer.

“Future at Inter? It seems like a foregone conclusion, but obviously I think I will finish the season in the best way and I will do everything to help Genoa save itself,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia earlier on today.

“It will also depend on the way I end the season. My future will be decided together with my agent and the clubs.”

The striker is one of the most highly rated youngsters to have come through the ranks of Inter’s academy in recent seasons although he has not exactly managed to perform to the same level as he did at youth level whilst playing at a senior level.

This season the Italian youth national team forward has made 25 appearances across all competitions to date. During his time on the park, which totals just shy of 1800 minutes, he has scored six goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

Christian Eriksen: “I Admire Inter’s Sensational Achievement Of Winning The Treble In 2010”

Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has admitted that whilst it is nice to be back playing football, he is missing playing in front of the Inter fans.

“Being back on the pitch is nice, the protocol imposes rules that make you live the games in a different way than before. We miss the fans at the stadium,” the Danish national team player began an interview with Inter’s official match day programme for tonight’s Serie A match at home to Brescia.

Eriksen, who joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal from Tottenham Hotspur in the most recent January transfer window, proceeded to speak on the impact his has father had on his career.

“My coach has always been my dad. He taught me everything, being ambidextrous, for example, when he told me to play in the garden kicking a little with the right and a little with the left, or when he made me do 10 passes with the right and 10 with the left.

“I was talented and being the son of the coach made me have eyes on me. Expectations have always been high around me: I had more responsibility and pressure, but I liked to be involved in games.”

He then spoke briefly on the little of Milan he has been able to see since his arrival at the club.

“I have only seen a little of Milan because of the lockdown, but I have to say that it is a beautiful city from the little I have seen of it. You can clearly feel the fans passion for football and in particular their support of the Inter players. The fans know how to transform matches.”

Next the former Ajax player revealed that performance numbers are not something he thinks too much about.

“I know that in the last few years my statistical performance has been important in England but I don’t look at the numbers as much.”

In conclusion he discussed Inter’s treble winning team of 2010 and shared his desire to create new history with the club.

“Before coming to Serie A obviously I have always tied Inter to the year they won the treble. It was 2010, I admired their sensational achievements and then I faced some of them at the World Cup in South Africa, when I was only 18.

“I am slowly immersing myself in tradition of this club but now is the time to create new history.”

Since his arrival he has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored two goals and provided as many assists.

Inter To Hold Talks With Brescia Tonight At The San Siro Over Sandro Tonali Transfer

Inter management will take the opportunity to hold talks with Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino over Sandro Tonali when the two sides meet later on today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have been courting the highly rated 20-year-old midfielder for some time now and could perhaps edge closer to agreeing a deal by holding talks with Cellino at San Siro this evening.

The Italian national team midfielder is said to be rated at €50 million by Cellino but Inter do not want to pay that much for him and as per various other reports Inter want to do a loan with obligation to buy deal worth €35 million for Tonali.

Tonali, who has drawn links to Juventus among many other clubs too, is widely regarded as one of the best young Italian prospects out there at the moment and has often been compared to legendary Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

This season Tonali has made 26 appearances to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided five assists for his teammates.

Bayern Munich Will Only Sign €20M Rated Ivan Perisic From Inter If Given Hefty Discount

Ivan Perisic’s immediate future is looking more and more complicated according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Croatian national team winger is currently out on loan at recently crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. The loan was extended yesterday until the end of August and Perisic halved his salary in order to make that happen.

Bayern Munich’s option to buy Perisic for €20 million has expired and the German giants are unlikely to try and sign Perisic on a permanent basis unless Inter give them a big discount seeing as they have just agreed a deal to sign Manchester City’s Leroy Sane.

Whilst on loan at the Bavaria based club, the 31-year-old has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just over 1500 minutes, the former Borussia Dortmund man has scored six goals and provided nine assists for his teammates.

Either Christian Eriksen Or Romelu Lukaku To Be Rested In Inter’s Serie A Clash Vs Brescia

One of Christian Eriksen or Romelu Lukaku could be rested for tonight’s match against Brescia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Danish and Belgian have both played all four of Inter’s games since the season resumed and one of them could be rested for the match against La Rondinelle.

One of them being rested is dependent on Marcelo Brozovic and or Matias Vecino being available again with Inter manager Antonio Conte yesterday hinting that the pair are due to return to action just shortly having been sidelined by injury as of late.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to add that Alessandro Bastoni, who scored the winner against Parma on Sunday, will be back in the starting line-up as will Ashley Young and Victor Moses, who will replace Cristiano Biraghi and Antonio Candreva at left wing back and right wing back respectively.

Inter Interested In Roma Linked PSG Striker Edinson Cavani But Refuse To Meet His Wage Demands

Inter are interested in free agent Edinson Cavani but the player must reduce his wage demands according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Cavani became a free agent today after his contract with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain expired and Inter and Roma are two of several clubs to have shown an interest in signing him.

The 33-year-old Uruguayan national team forward wants an annual salary of €12 million and even though Inter could sign him on a free transfer and thus save money by not needing to spend a transfer fee, he still needs to drop his demands in order for Inter to be able to sign him.

This past season the former Napoli striker, who spent the past seven years in the French capital city, made 22 appearances across all competitions to date.

In his time on the park, he scored seven goals and provided a total of three assists for his teammates.

Inter To Return To 3-5-2 Formation For Tonight’s Serie A Clash Against Brescia

Inter will revert to a 3-5-2 system for tonight’s match against Brescia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri have played a 3-4-1-2 system in all four of their games since the football season resumed but will go back to 3-5-2 with Christian Eriksen set to drop to the bench for the match against La Rondinelle.

The system change will be one of many changes that Inter manager Antonio Conte makes for the match against Brescia, who are sitting in the Serie A relegation zone.

Alessandro Bastoni will come into the starting lineup in place of Danilo D’Ambrosio, Ashley Young and Victor Moses will replace Cristiano Biraghi and Antonio Candreva at left wing back and right wing back respectively whilst Borja Valero will come in for Eriksen.

Moreover, the report claims that Romelu Lukaku will start on the bench and will be replaced by Alexis Sanchez in the starting XI.

Probable Inter starting line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Victor Moses, Roberto Gagliardini, Borja Valero, Nicolo Barella, Ashley Young; Alexis Sanchez, Lautaro Martinez.

Italian Media Report PSG’s Edinson Cavani Joining Roma Could Push Edin Dzeko To Inter

Edinson Cavani signing for Roma could pave the way for Edin Dzeko to leave and join Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Cavani is a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and Roma have shown a keen interest in adding him to their ranks although it will not be easy for them to sign the Uruguayan national team player.

The first reason for this is that Cavani’s wage demands are presently out of reach for the Giallorossi club. The second reason is that it would lead to Dzeko departing as Roma could not afford to have both players on their books.

Cavani would replace Dzeko as the club’s highest earner and it is certainly a very complex situation because Cavani has no shortage of interest from elsewhere with him having been linked to many clubs in the Middle East among other sides.
