French Media Claim Inter Looking At Young Nimes Goalkeeper Amjhad Nazih

Inter are among a host of clubs keen on signing promising goalkeeper Amjad Nazih according to a report from the French edition of Goal.com.

In the past few hours Inter have enquired about the French youth national team goalkeeper who is currently on the books of Ligue 1 side Nimes Olympique.

Inter are not the only club interested in signing the shot-stopper, who holds dual French and Moroccan nationality, with the report also highlighting that Bundesliga sides Schalke and RB Leipzig are also keen on him.

The 18-year-old is yet to sign a professional contract with his current employers thus meaning Inter could acquire him on a free transfer. Nimes Olympique could however soon offer him a professional deal and they could do so in the coming weeks.

Nazih has yet to make his first team debut for Nimes Olympique but was on the bench for their 5-0 Coupe de Ligue defeat to Dijon back in January.

Inter Owned Ivan Perisic’s Agents In Talks With Tottenham In Case Bayern Munich Transfer Collapses

The agents of Inter owned Croatian winger are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur to prepare for a back-up plan should a permanent transfer to Bayern Munich collapse, Italian media outlet FcInterNews report.

According to the report, Inter and Bayern intend to conclude a deal for the Croatian international winger despite the fact that time has run on the €20 million option the Bavarian’s had to sign him permanently.

This is, the report continues, due to the fact the Bayern do not wish to sign anyone permanently this upcoming transfer window due to the financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, they have asked Inter to loan him over another season, something the Nerazzurri have declined, prompting Bayern to offer €10 million to sign him outright. Inter have not received this well but can consider accepting an offer around €15 million, as talks continue.

So although it is likely that a deal for Perisic could most likely be concluded, the player’s agents want to have a back-up plan and have therefore contacted Tottenham, where José Mourinho would welcome him with open arms.

Ivan Perisic joined Inter in the summer of 2015 from VFL Wolfsburg in a deal reportedly worth €16 million and has since then featured 163 times across all competitions for the Nerazzurri scoring 40 goals in the process.

He joined Bayern Munich on a season long loan last summer and has since joining them featured 29 times across all competitions scoring 6 goals in the process.

German Media Report PSG Join Inter In Race To Sign Bayern Munich’s David Alaba

Newly crowned French champions Paris Saint-Germain are hot on the trails of Bayern Munich’s Austrian international utility man David Alaba, according to a report by German broadcaster Sky Sport Deutschland, aired moments ago.

According to the report, talks between Bayern over a contract extension are on standby as Alaba is asking for €15 million gross per season. Given the financial effects of the COVID-19 crisis, this is not a financial undertaking that Bayern are too keen on taking on.

This has, the report continues, prompted PSG director Leonardo to ignite an interest in Alaba who Inter have been linked to recently, as coach Antonio Conte wants reinforcements in that area of the pitch.

The Austrian player, born in 1992, came up the youth ranks at Bayern and has played for the Bavarian giants all his career, baring a 6 month spell on loan at Hoffenheim in 2011.

So far he has featured 379 times across all competitions for Bayern Munich scoring 30 goals in the process and his current contract expires at the end of June 2021.

Antonio Conte Confronted Inter Players “Angrily” Today After Coppa Italia Exit Vs Napoli

Inter manager Antonio Conte has angrily confronted his team following their elimination from the Coppa Italia at the semi final stage according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

Inter drew 1-1 with Napoli this past weekend at the Stadio San Paolo but were eliminated due to a 2-1 aggregate scoreline.

Whilst Conte told the team he was satisfied with the performance, he stressed the need for certain things to be improved upon with one of those things being the ability to see games out after taking a lead, something Inter have failed to do on a number of occasions this season.

The report goes on to explain that former Italian national team boss Conte also hammered the team for the goal that was conceded and he shared his belief to the team that it was an absolutely avoidable goal for them to concede.

Italian Journalist Mario Sconcerti: “Antonio Conte Should Rethink, There’s No Freedom At Inter”

Noted Italian football journalist Mario Sconcerti has shared his belief that Inter manager Antonio Conte has his Inter side too organised and this is why the team struggle, especially in big matches.

“Conte should rethink things. He built an excellent team but that is not enough. If we are looking for something that will make Inter grow, we must necessarily cross examine his work,” he began an interview with Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com, a few days on from Inter crashing out of the Coppa Italia.

“Does he have good players? I think so. We spent months illustrating the talents of Lukaku, Lautaro, Barella, Sensi, Eriksen, De Vrij, Skriniar, Handanovic, Brozovic. It is difficult to think about how to improve in this regard. Credit must be given to Marotta, Ausilio and Conte.”

Sconcerti then went on to share why he thinks the Nerazzurri struggle.

“What is the limit of the team? Why does Inter lose every time they come up against a strong opponent? I believe there is too much Conte in this team, too many orders, too many fixed patterns, too much militarisation.

“Tactical discipline applies if it becomes an organisation and organisation applies if it improves the qualities of individuals.”

Sconcerti concluded the interview by reiterating his belief that Inter have quality players in their side and suggested that Conte should take a step back.

“At Inter it’s time to slow down, the instinct for individual football is almost completely stifled. There is no freedom. For fear of free interpretation, commandments are preferred and it suffocates everything. Inter have excellent players but are missing individuality. Conte should try and take a step back.”

Conte took charge of Inter this past Summer and has almost exclusively played a 3-5-2 system throughout the campaign although he did deploy the team in a 3-4-1-2 this past weekend, a system which definitely got more out of January transfer window recruit Christian Eriksen.

Conte has managed Inter in 38 games across all competitions to date. He has won 22 of them, lost seven and drawn the remaining nine fixtures.

Jose Mourinho: “My Favorite Defeat Is Barcelona vs Inter In The 2010 Champions League Semifinal”

In an interview with Chinese news outlet Hupu.com, former Inter manager Jose Mourinho has reflected on his time spent as manager of the club.

Mourinho took charge of Inter in 2008 following his first spell in charge of Chelsea and had two highly successful years in charge of the Nerazzurri.

In his first season in charge, Mourinho led Inter to the Serie A title and the Supercoppa Italiana. In his second season with the club, he led them to a historic treble which consisted of the Serie A title, Coppa Italia and Champions League.

“Winning the treble with Inter was honestly the perfect puzzle because I was happy for so many reasons,” Mourinho explained in the interview.

“It wasn’t just because of the incredible treble but there was also the relationship with the players, with the owner and all those who worked with me. For me it was an incredible period with a fantastic emotional level.”

“If I have to choose my favorite defeat, I will choose a game I lost but one I won at the same time, the semifinal Barcelona vs Inter in the Champions League in 2010. Because this was a game that was more than simply about football.

“It was a match where we demonstrate what the important factors are needed in the soul of a team, the importance of a team’s spirit, the importance of strength and solidarity. These are things that are very important in a team sport like football.”

During his two years in charge of Inter, he managed Inter in 108 games across all competitions, of which he won 67.

The Portuguese tactician is currently in charge of Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and since leaving Inter at the end of the 2009/10 season he has also had spells in charge of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United.
