Considerable Distance Between Inter’s Offer & Sebastiano Esposito’s Demands In Contract Talks

There is considerable distance between Inter and Sebastiano Esposito in contract renewal talks according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Esposito is soon going to be eligible to sign professional terms with Inter and the Nerazzurri would like to tie one of their brightest prospects in recent years down to the club for the foreseeable future but there is great distance between Inter’s offer and the teen sensation’s demands.

As per the report, Inter are willing to offer him a five year contract with a salary in the region of €450,000 a year plus add-ons but the player is understood to be demanding an annual salary of €1 million.

The report goes on to explain that there are several clubs who have shown an interest in signing him on loan for the duration of next season and Inter could loan him out but they will not sell him, even with a disguised buy-back option.

Parma, Hellas Verona and Brescia have been interested for weeks whilst Benevento and Torino have both made recent enquiries for him.

FCInterNews.it also state that there are a number of agents currently vying to become Esposito’s representative. Augusto Carpeggiani, who represents his brother Salvatore, is currently holding the talks with Inter and he is an individual who his family trust but there are several others keen to represent Esposito.

Spanish Report Claims Barcelona Confident In Signing Lautaro Martinez From Inter

Barcelona are confident that they will be able to complete a deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez despite rivals Real Madrid sparking an interest in him according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport.

The Blaugrana club have been courting the highly rated 22-year-old striker for some time now and believe that he will either join them or failing that remain at Inter.

Barcelona have a lot of optimism that they can get a deal done but know they must raise funds through sales this month if they wish to get the deal over the line.

Lautaro, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, has reportedly agreed a contract with Barcelona already but the two clubs are some way apart in negotiations at the moment as per various reports circulating in the media.

This season he has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four asissts.

Italian Media Reports Inter In Pole Position To Sign PSG’s Edinson Cavani On A Free Transfer

Inter is in pole position to sign Edinson Cavani but the player wants to finish the season with Paris Saint-Germain before leaving for a new club, according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com.

Cavani is yet to make a decision on which club he will move to with one of the main reasons behind this being the offers he has received thus far all fall short of what he is looking for.

As per the report, Inter have proposed a two year contract with an annual salary of €7.5 million a year but Cavani is looking for an annual salary of €10 million instead.

Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing the 33-year-old Uruguayan national team player, whose contract with the French capital city club is set to expire.

This season Cavani, who has been with his current employers since 2013, has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored seven goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

Inter Consider Sending Nainggolan To Atalanta In Exchange For Castagne Or Gosens

Inter will decide what to do with Radja Nainggolan once the player returns to the club from his loan with Cagliari according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Belgian joined the Rossoblu club on a season long loan this past Summer and is certain to return to the Nerazzurri at the end of the loan but what happens after that is currently not clear.

Nainggolan was judged to be out of the club’s project alongside Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi this past Summer but there is a chance he could be reintegrated into the first team picture due to his goal scoring ability and his ability to set up goals for others.

Alternatively, Inter could use him as a counterpart in a deal for another player although Nainggolan’s €4.5 million annual salary makes a move to almost every other club in Italy very difficult.

The report goes on to explain that Inter could do an exchange with Atalanta for either Robin Gosens or Timothy Castagne and pay 50% of Nainggolan’s salary. The player would also need to be convinced and the report concludes that for the time being such thoughts are fantasy.

Brescia Close To Accepting Inter’s Offer Of Loan With Obligation To Buy Worth €50M For Sandro Tonali

Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino is willing to accept a loan with obligation to buy deal for Sandro Tonali provided the money involved is right according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Giornale di Brescia.

Cellino ultimately does not want to accept a deal worth anything less than €50 million for the highly rated 20-year-old midfielder but as per the report he is willing to accept Inter’s proposal of a high fee paying loan with an obligation to buy, which would be similar to the deal Inter done with Cagliari for Nicolo Barella last Summer.

Inter are edging ever closer to Tonali and the report goes on to explain that Juventus, who have also shown a key interest in signing him, are already thinking about moving for Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo to console themselves if they do indeed miss out on signing Tonali, who is one of the promising Italian players out there at the moment.

Inter Coach Conte Hopes To Havw Full Squad At His Disposal For Napoli Coppa Italia Clash

Inter manager Antonio Conte is hopeful of having his entire squad at his disposal for Inter’s upcoming Coppa Italia semi final second leg according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia which was broadcast earlier on today.

It is not entirely impossible for this to happen as there is a chance that both Matias Vecino and Diego Godin, who have been dealing with injuries in the past few days, could be able to recover in time for the match at the Stadio San Paolo stadium in Naples.

The report makes no mention of the respective conditions of Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni and Danilo D’Ambrosio though, all of whom have reportedly been dealing with injuries too but the lack of a mention could be an indication that they will be available for selection.

Inter will play Napoli in eight days time and have to overturn a 1-0 first leg defeat if they wish to make it to the Coppa Italia final, where they will play either AC Milan or Juventus.

Inter Striker Romelu Lukaku On Verge Of Equaling Personal Record Of Goals Scored In 1 Season

Romelu Lukaku is just four goals shy of matching his personal record for goals scored in a season a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport has highlighted.

His personal record stands at 27 goals in a single season, a tally he achieved during the 2017/18 season at Manchester United.

The Inter striker has 23 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions to date this term and with at least 15 more games to play (13 league games, one Coppa Italia game and one, maybe two, Europa League games depending on what is decided), he stands a good chance of matching if not bettering his personal record.

Lukaku joined Inter in a club record €65 million transfer deal from Manchester United this past Summer and is the highest paid player in Inter history.

The Belgian national team player, who has a contract with the club until the end of the 2023/24 season, has struck up a solid partnership with Lautaro Martinez, a partnership which Inter manager Antonio Conte is bound to heavily rely upon in the remainder of the season.
