RB Leipzig Coach Nagelsmann On Inter & Liverpool Target Timo Werner: “He Knows What He’s Got Here But It’s Wouldn’t Be Right To Force Him To Stay”

RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann has admitted that it would be wrong of both the club and himself to try and force star man Timo Werner into staying with the club if he wishes to move on.

Ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window Werner has been linked with a whole array of clubs, especially Premier League sides Liverpool and Chelsea whilst Inter have also reportedly identified him as a potential replacement for Lautaro Martinez, who is a transfer target of Barcelona’s.

“There is nothing we can do about it. He knows what he has in Leipzig and also what he has with me,” Nagelsmann told reporters following yesterday’s 4-2 triumph over FC Koln.

“I show him that. He gets many chances to develop himself. I don’t know if it will help him that much if I tell him every day.

“A player has to feel that he can get better. If he doesn’t feel that, it wouldn’t do any good if I kept on telling him to stay here.

“In the end, it is his life, his career, he can decide that. I can’t think of anything new to say to Timo.”

24-year-old Werner still has little over three years left to run on his current contract with the Bundesliga outfit and as part of his contract he has a variable release clause, the value of which will be determined by whether RB Leipzig win the title or not.

This season the German national team forward has made 40 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 31 goals and provided 12 assists for his teammates.

Italian Journalist Nicolo Schira: “Barcelona Agree Terms With Lautaro Martinez Worth €12M Net Per Season But Inter Refuse Latest Offer”

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has reached an agreement over personal terms with Barcelona according to a report from Italian football journalist and transfer market expert Nicolo Schira.

As per Schira’s report, the 22-year-old Argentine national team striker has agreed to an annual salary of €12 million net plus add-ons with the La Liga powerhouses, who now must try and reach an agreement with Inter.

Inter continue to demand that Barcelona pay the former Racing Club player’s €111 million release clause in full but Schira states that Inter would be willing to accept a €90 million plus a player offer for him.

For the time being though, Barcelona are some way away from Inter’s demands with their most recent offer consisting of €60 million plus Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo, an offer which Inter rejected.

This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his teammates.

Inter In Talks With Man Utd Over Extending Alexis Sanchez Loan For Another Season

Inter are in talks with Manchester United over extending Alexis Sanchez’s loan until the end of next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Chilean national team forward joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer and although his season has been blighted by injury, Inter are still willing to give him another chance to impress.

Sanchez’s loan with Inter is set to expire at the end of this month but with the 2019/20 Serie A campaign set to resume again in the coming weeks, his current loan agreement will be extended until the end of the season, which should be in early August.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that Inter manager Antonio Conte would like to keep a hold of the former Barcelona and Arsenal player and it is for this reason that Inter are negotiating with Manchester United with regard to extending the loan for another season.

Italian Media Reports Inter To Go Head To Head With Juventus For Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri, Brescia’s Sandro Tonali & Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa

Inter are set to go head to head with arch rivals Juventus for a number of players in the upcoming transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Brescia’s Sandro Tonali is one of the players that the Nerazzurri and Bianconeri are vying for and Inter are currently leading the race to sign him with the report explaining that the Nerazzurri are in advanced negotiations to bring him to the club.

Inter manager Antonio Conte believes he is the ideal addition for the midfield and Inter are prepared to make a big investment to sign him.

Another player that the two clubs are keen on is Chelsea full back Emerson Palmieri. The Brazilian born Italian national team defender is seemingly set to be offloaded by Chelsea and both clubs want him to bring him in to bolster their options at full back.

The third player both clubs are interested in is Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa, who they have both been interested in signing for a considerable time.

The report from the Turin based newspaper also explains that Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani is currently at the top of Inter’s list of potential replacements for Lautaro Martinez.

Italian Media Highlights Why Lazio President Lotito Spread Rumours About Marotta Wanting To Leave Inter

Lazio president and owner Claudio Lotito launched the rumour that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta wants to leave the club for various reasons according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

The first reason is Lotito and Marotta having differing views with regard to resuming the 2019/20 Serie A season.

Lotito is accusing the big clubs in the country, including Inter, of having plotted with the smaller teams to not resume the season with only Hellas Verona, Sampdoria, Genoa, SPAL, Atalanta and Udinese backing Lotito, who wants the season to resume.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that the second reason is that Lotito would like to see the Lega Serie A council only made up of presidents who are pumping money into clubs and he could try and get Inter chief executive Alessandro Antonello to step aside from his role.

He could be replaced by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, which would please the big clubs, or by Hellas Verona president Maurizio Setti, which would particularly please Lotito.

One veteran executive of a Serie A club told La Repubblica, “The Lega Serie A is a jungle” whilst a club president added, “I see it more like a worm.”

Italian Media Reports Inter’s Lautaro Martinez Hasn’t Changed His Mind About Moving To Barcelona

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has not changed his mind about wanting a move to La Liga powerhouses Barcelona in the coming months according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 22-year-old Argentine remains the Blaugrana club’s number one transfer target and the seemingly soon to be completed €40 million sale of Nelson Semedo to Manchester City will help Barcelona fund a move for him.

Currently Barcelona are offering €50 million plus two players whilst Inter would like between €80-90 million plus a player.

An agreement is unlikely to be reached in the short term as Inter have still not lined up a replacement and are still waiting for Lautaro to come out and tell them he wants to move to Barcelona, who he has already told that he wants to join.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that there are two deadlines to take into account. The first deadline is June 30, the date which clubs must have their books in order by and the second date is Lautaro’s €111 million release clause expiry date, which Gazzetta claim is July 7.

Italian Media Reports Chelsea Slap €40M Price Tag On Inter & Juventus Target Emerson Palmieri

Chelsea have slapped a €40 million price tag on the head of defender Emerson Palmieri according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Brazilian born Italian national team player appears set to be offloaded by the Premier League club in the coming months and both Inter and their arch rivals Juventus have shown an interest in signing him with both clubs looking to bolster their full back department.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Juventus do not want to exceed paying €25-30 million for the former Roma player and the report also adds that there is possible room for negotiations between Chelsea and interested clubs, who may manage to get him for a little less than Chelsea are demanding.

This season Emerson has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park he has contributed a single assist.

Liverpool Target Timo Werner Has Not Closed Door On Possibility To Join Inter

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner is yet to close the door on the possibility of joining Inter in the coming months according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

A few days ago Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio admitted that the German national team forward would not be coming to the club as he knows of his intentions, which include playing in the Premier League.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with making a move for him but have not come forward and this has opened the door for Inter.

Werner nor his wife have completely dismissed the idea of a move to Inter but the report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Inter will not make any sort of move for him or other potential replacements, such as Edinson Cavani, until the future of Barcelona target Lautaro Martinez is clearer.

The list of potential suitors for Inter midfielder Matias Vecino has grown with both Arsenal and Valencia showing an interest in signing him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

He has a balance of €10 million against Inter’s books and the club value him in the region of €20-25 million meaning there is a potential capital gain of €10-15 million.

Inter Could Have 7 Midfielders In Squad Next Season With Arrival Of Sandro Tonali & Return Of Radja Nainggolan

Inter manager Antonio Conte and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta want a midfield department full of players capable of starting according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper.

The duo want the midfield to consist of seven players. Christian Eriksen, Nicolo Barella, Stefano Sensi and Marcelo Brozovic are as good as guaranteed to take up four of the seven slots.

Inter wish to bring in Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, who not only fits the bill when it comes to Inter wanting to become more Italian but he is also a player not just for now but for the long term future too.

The sixth man in the midfield could be Radja Nainggolan. Nainggolan was judged to be out of the club’s project last Summer but with him having similar characteristics to Inter target Arturo Vidal, Inter could save money by just reintegrating him instead.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to add that Inter’s midfield department will be completed by Roberto Gagliardini.
